    My month old Verizon iPhone 11 on the iOS 14 beta just had a notification pop up that said cellular update failed a few hours after auto updating, my cellular plan no longer works and I don't know what to do. Can anyone help?

    Water got into MacBook Air touchpad and now it doesn't work smoothly, what should I do?

    So a few drops of water got in the the cracks of the touchpad of my MacBook Air 2015 and the pointer couldn't move. I then wiped the touchpad and restarted the macbook and it could move again but not smooth at all. Is it gonna get worse? Should I get it repaired? Or do I look up some tutorials and open up the laptop and dry it myself? Any help is appreciated.

    So, I know about number spoofing, but is it possible to number spoof with FaceTime calls?

    Over the last 2 weeks my boyfriend has been FaceTimed 10 times over separate occasions by me all of which I did not call him and I don't have the calls on my end. It has happened with my best friend as well and my little sister.

    No one who would be doing this (I'm assuming) would have all three of those people's phone numbers so I'm confused? What is going on?

    Did I make a mistake buying a MacBook Pro now?

    Hey guys, I just bought a 16" MacBook Pro (with 5600M) several days ago. I have the max configuration except for the SSD. I'm still within the return period, and I don't know if I should return it or not.

    To give you guys a context, I upgraded to the 16" MacBook Pro from the 15" 2018. The 15" wasn't configured as high as I hope because I didn't know that I was going to do more power-intensive tasks now. I'm a film student who also does 3D work with Maya, motion design with Adobe After Effects (and yes, it takes a whole lot of RAM), some VFX with a bunch of other software, and primarily video editing with Adobe Premiere Pro and Final Cut Pro X.

    Yesterday, I just saw the leaked and predicted numbers (performance) of Mac with Apple silicon. They perform really well with the apps I use. And developers have spoken that compatibility for Intel-based apps are much better than people expected. With either the 16" or the ARM Macs, I would hope that my laptop would last at least 4 years with software updates both from Apple and app developers. Now that I know Adobe is already on-board with this, Final Cut Pro will be fully compatible when it launches, and Maya isn't something I'd use often, I think I've made a mistake getting a Mac now.

    I'm aware that this year's Apple silicon Macs wouldn't be a 16" MacBook Pro, but somewhere in Mid-2021. I'm also aware that the 1st generation of products wouldn't be the ideal one to get. When I made a purchase like this, being aware of the industry I'm in, I would hope it would last at least 4 years in hardware and software support, including updates from Apple and 3rd party apps.

    What do you guys think of my purchase? Should I return it or should I keep it? Thanks.

    Splitting 2 iphones, 1 account

    My parents both have iphones and for some reason decided to set both up under the same itunes account. This has caused them both to have the same apps, pictures, contacts, etc with new additions from one another daily. My question is, is there any way for one of them to make a new itunes account and keep all their information, contacts, pics, etc and finally split it to not be on the same account? Theyre essentially paying for 2 phones with the same stuff on it. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

    I installed ElementaryOS on my macbook&erase everything from it after realising I don't want elementaryOS &want back MacOS after try switching to MacOS I found nothing in there so I tried install MacOS again using [cmd-r] erase everything, tried to installing MacOS again & I couldn't please help me!

    XS Front Camera Stopped Working Again

    So last week I dropped my iPhone XS and nothing appeared to be broken on the outside but the front camera just completely stopped working. It was just a black screen on the camera app and snapchat. I took it to get it replaced and they told me they tried two different new front cameras and neither worked; however, when I got home my old front camera worked again! Sadly, today I dropped it in the sink (no water) and it stopped working yet again. I am super confused and I don't know what to do next.

    How to answer a call with iphone/AIRPODS while using mac/AIRPODS?

    i was using my mac with my airpods for work, but whenever i get a call, i have to answer without the airpods and ask them to wait while i switch to my wireless headphones... Is there another way to do this?

    Why do the iOS analytics keep disappearing on my iPhone 8?

    I'm just wondering if there's any reason the logs keep disappearing from the analytics data page. My phone has been acting super weird lately and keeps powering on and off, and then today I noticed all of my logs were gone. I haven't plugged it in to any computer and backups are turned off, which is the only cause I can find for this happening. I thought it was odd so booked a genius appointment for next Friday to see if it's a glitch, but then between a few hours ago when I first checked and now, all new events are gone again. I haven't connected to any wifi networks since then and I've never had this happen before. Any explanations?

    I followed ICrackUrDevice's tutorial on downgrading from iOS 14 to iOS 13.6. However, after I changed the backup, and restored my phone, all my health data and iMessages got deleted.

    Does anyone know?

    So I downloaded iTunes on my windows 10, I backed up my iPhone on it then I copied my files from disk c to E cause My space was almost full, I restored my iPhone completely but when I plugged my iPhone once again into my laptop, the backup was no where to be found any ideas how to restore my backup now?

    Bluetooth periodically dropping on MacBook Pro 2020

    I'm using a 2020 13" MacBook Pro with a desktop setup that includes a Magic Trackpad 2 and Magic Keyboard. My issue is that the Bluetooth connection will periodically (and randomly) cut out for about 20-30 seconds, then return. Both devices cut out at the same time, and for the same duration. This problem did not occur on my previous 2015 13" MBP with the same setup - it only happens with my new machine.

    I'm running the latest Catalina 10.15.6. The only wires connected to the laptop are power and a USB-C to DisplayPort cable. My previous laptop (which didn't have this issue) was also on Catalina, though an older version.

    Is this an issue with my input devices or my new laptop, and is there a known fix for this issue?

    Macbook Pro Mid-2012 shuts down randomly when trying to boot from newly installed SSD (help!)

    Hi,

    I have searched for hours now to a solution to this problem and haven't found anyone with my problem. Any help with this would be seriously amazing.

    I recently installed a Crucial MX500 1TB SSD and a Crucial 16GB RAM into my Mid-2012 Macbook Pro. To clone my HDD onto my SSD, I put my SSD into an external hard drive enclosure, plugged it into my Macbook via USB, and then used Carbon Copy Cloner to clone my HDD onto my SSD. I then installed my SSD and RAM into my Macbook. When I booted up my Macbook after installation, the Apple logo would appear as well as the chime, and when my Macbook was trying to start-up, it would shut off midway into the loading bar.

    I went into recovery mode, and my Macbook is recognizing the internal SSD, and verify disk couldn't find any problems. I then put my HDD in my hard drive enclosure and booting from that, which worked. I then wiped and reformatted and then recloned my HDD onto my SSD, and tried booting from my SSD again, and the exact same problem happened. I've tried resetting PRAM and SMC, and enabled Trim, and none of that has worked.

    Does anyone have any idea what might be causing this?

    Mouse Frozen External Hard Drive Boot.

    My mac is currently running by booting from an external hard drive with the operating system installed. everything works fine and quickly save for my USB wireless mouse, the cursor isn't smooth across the screen and freezes in and out every half a second perhaps.. making it unusable. Difficult thing to google so thought i would try my luck here to see if anybody had any suggestions? Thanks.

    How to tell if a used Macbook Pro has activation lock

    So i bought a Macbook pro a month ago used. It was not signed in on Macbook and he said he cleared it so i used it for about a month. So then a month later i tried resetting the hard drive and it prompted me for the old emails password! And then the laptop just booted down without me doing anything and when i tried restarting it told me activation lock is on and it requires the previous owners info.

    Luckily i contacted the owner and he gave me the login info and the Laptop is currently reinstalling macOS Catalina (hope it goes smooth).

    I got lucky that the previous owner was willing to help me. Anyone know how i can tell if a future apple product i buy has this secret lock on it? The laptop showed up as logged out of icloud when i checked it.

    Sorry for the long post and thanks for any help!

    tdlr: Used macbook pro seemed like it was signed out of icloud when i went into system preferences but a month later when i tried resetting the hard drive it had an activation lock on it. How do i not let this happen again?

    Stuck on apple logo, tried everything besides restoring it

    Good evening everyone,

    My iphone 7 is stuck on the apple logo.

    A few hours ago my phone was acting weird:

    1. couldnt open any app
    2. got a message saying the storage was full
    3. tried to delete a 300mb app but it wouldnt delete it
    4. decided to shut down my phone in order to restart it, got stuck on the apple logo

    Force restarting it (pressing volume down + side button for ~5 seconds didnt work).

    After some research, decided to put it in recovery mode (by doing the same thing for ~15 seconds) and tried to update through my mac to iOS 13.6 (its currently on the version bellow that one), but I got this message: "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be updated. An unkwon error occurred (14), which seems to be related to lack of storage (duhhhh).

    Is there any way to put my phone back at working without loosing its current data? I can always restore it and use a backup I made 2 weeks ago but i didnt want recent vacation photos that I took in the meantime.

    Purheaps it's possible to make a backup with my phone like this?
