Hate the Apple Support Music, But love Bob Dylan? There’s hope for you yet! Posted: 02 Jul 2020 01:21 PM PDT Apple support gives you a choice of music while you wait to speak to an advisor. They say that you can choose Pop, Classic, Jazz, or Silence. Tip: pressing "5" (not announced as an option) you will be serenaded by Bob Dylan. Different songs are on rotation, but all are byBob Dylan! I have no clue if this is temporary or an accident, but all other options have random songs from varied artists. source: heard a rumor from friend who works for AppleCare, tested myself! Does switching to ARM allow anything new to be achieved? Posted: 02 Jul 2020 02:01 PM PDT So as the title, I was just wondering if there's anything novel that switching to ARM will allow Apple/ developers to achieve? I know that Apple said that all apps for iOS will now work on your Mac so it'll be good to get some like Audible natively! That said, outside of vertical integration, from a consumer point of view should we just expect for things to be mostly as they've been? Is there anything radical that can be achieved on ARM that won't be possible with Intel chips? Or is it just a case of once the software kinks get ironed out over the next few years, it'll be like there's no real difference at all? [link] [comments] |
