    [Tutorial] Activator's Useful Actions

    Hi! I know I'm a bit late but I decided to create a post for useful activator actions/menus and update it as I come across more cool/useful stuff because I didn't find anything for Activator in FAQ (and the other posts are quite old) and Activator is a super powerful but unfortunately underrated tweak. Also I thought it would be useful for new jailbroken users that have joined us since unc0ver v5.

    Please share your actions/suggestions and I will add them to this post and try to make an all-round post.

    Updates will be added to the bottom of the post.

    You can turn off notifications in Action Banners section in Activator's main page.

    Anywhere:

    • Activates Low Power Mode when your phone is locked:

    Locked -> +LPM

    Unlocked -> -LPM

    ​

    • Useful as your device won't enable hotspot if you connect it to your PC/Mac over USB:

    Join a Wi-Fi network -> -Hotspot

    ​

    • Never lose your internet connection:

    Join a Wi-Fi network -> -LTE

    Left the Wi-Fi network -> +LTE

    ​

    • Absolute life saver when an incompatible/outdated tweak freezes/slows down your device:

    Triple Press Home Button/Press Both Volume Buttons -> SafeMode

    ​

    • Automatically sets volume for your headphone:

    Wired/BT Headset Connected -> SetVolume to X%

    Wired/BT Headset Disconnected -> SetVolume to 0%

    ​

    • Music Shortcuts, Super useful when exercising:

    Volume Down Short Hold -> Previous Track

    Volume Up Short Hold -> Next Track

    Volume Up,Down -> Play/Pause

    ​

    • Disables Vibrations when using your phone:

    Locked -> +Vibration

    Unlocked -> -Vibration

    ​

    • Useful when your phone is silent and is lost in home/...:

    Receive Message "activateringer" -> +Ringer & -DND & SetRingerVolume to 100%

    ​

    • Great toggle for flashlight, works when the screen is off:

    Press Volume Down,Up -> Toggle Flashlight

    ​

    In Applications:

    • Useful if you don't want to keep location services always on:

    Open Camera -> +Location

    Close Camera -> -Location

    Open Google Maps -> +Location

    Close Google Maps -> -Location

    • Same thing for rotation lock:

    Open YT -> -RotationLock

    Close YT -> +RotationLock

    This is the action to turn on Rotation Lock when exiting the app:

    checkapp.sh && activator send switch-on.com.a3tweaks.switch.rotation-lock

    • Lock your phone in apps by sliding two fingers from top:

    Two Finger Slide in From Top -> Sleep Button

    ​

    At HomeScreen/Applications:

    • Easy action for taking screenshots

    TouchID Sensor Double Press -> Take Screenshot

    At HomeScreen:

    • Useful icon shortcuts:

    Safari Icon Flick Down -> New Private Tab

    Phone Icon Flick Down -> Contacts

    Phone Icon Flick Up -> Keypad

    AppleTV Icon Flick Up/Down -> Start/Sleep ‏‏AppleTV

    Home App Icon Hold -> Turning Lights on/off

    At LockScreen:

    • Easily turn the screen off after receiving a notification/checking clock:

    Slide in from Top -> Sleep Button

    • Disable Power off option in LS(Hard resets are still possible):

    Short Hold Sleep Button -> Lock Device

    Hate Chrome? Love Firefox? This is something for you!

    Some apps are Google's bootlickers by implementing Chrome as the only alternative browser. So you can have a nice browser selection dialog (so you can use Safari if you want), but what gives, if the only other option is Chrome? This tweak solves that!

    How is it different than, for instance, EvilScheme? EvilScheme would hook http://, https:// schemas for Safari, so I would open Firefox instead of Safari, having the Chrome option there listed and wasted.

    With special support for YouTube and Reddit, where it will replace Chrome's name and occurence with Firefox's as well, like this:

    Hey there! Hope the you are doing good!

    ReachToLockX replaces the reachability gesture to lock the device instead!

    Still like reachability? No problem! You can configure different swipe "modes" in ReachToLockX's preferences that let's you swipe one time to engage reachability and two times to lock the device. With this mode enabled, you can configure the delay time required between the two swipes. I plan to add more modes in the future.

    This tweak is made for devices without a home button, but it should work just fine on other devices as well.

    [Discussion] Xen HTML 2 has been amazing for battery

    Whenever I used Xen HTML + XenInfo in the past (even with light widgets), I would notice drain - not too bad, but noticeable.

    This new update and the ability to remove XenInfo and retain widget functionality has improved my battery so much that I don't notice any drain anymore.

    Hello, fellow redditors and jailbreakers. If you've downloaded April before, you have surely been bombarded with safe mode crashes, dependency errors, and a bunch of other stuff. I want to take this time to say I'm sorry. Anyways, on to the good stuff!

    New Features!

    April v2 contains a bunch of new features that are available to you. With April, you can show weather, date, and time all at the same time on your lockscreen. Also, up next events are also available on the lockscreen (Still in beta but available and enabled upon fresh install)!

    A small warning...

    If you're using Unc0ver 5.0, I recommend using Cydia or Zebra to install April as I have had some issues with Sileo but it all depends on what works for you. If you're not using unc0ver 5.0, you're safe to install April as long as you have iOS 12-iOS 13.5

    Wait, more iOS support?

    Yes, you read that right! iOS 12 support is here. I felt the heat of the internet rage machine of r/Jailbreak and decided I'll work on iOS 12 support and it is finally here. Enjoy April on every device as long as you have libPDDokdo and libcolorpicker.

    Ok, Ok, I'll finish up.

    I'm currently using Saw on my iPhone XR on iOS 13.5, and I like the additional screen space it provides. However, I've found that the buttons at the bottom of the screen are more likely to trigger the home bar, rather than their functions, particularly when using a smaller keyboard. Would it be possible to make a tweak to change the gesture size to be smaller? I typically swipe all the way from the bottom of my screen anyway, rather than relying on where the home bar would be, so if it could just be a swipe instead, that would be much preferable.
