Switching to a new iPhone when the old one’s running the beta

I'll get right to the point. I want to jump back on the beta train but I'm upgrading my iPhone soon and I know you can't restore an iCloud Backup taken on the beta to a device not running the beta.

Luckily, I don't plan to use iCloud Backups. There's a feature that lets you transfer content directly from iPhone to iPhone (no, not Quick Start, it's one of the restore options when setting up a new iPhone). My question is, does that work if I'm transferring content from an iPhone running the beta to one not running the beta? AFAIK the transfer should do everything an iCloud Backup would so if it'll transfer from beta iPhone to non-beta iPhone that'd be perfect.

    Thank you!

Is it possible to pair iPhones to a specific bluetooth device or connect them to my Wifi network via programmed NFC tags?

    Posted: 08 Jun 2020 05:29 PM PDT

With the new capabilities of iOS 13's Shortcuts, I'm aware that events can be automated with NFC tags. However, can events be triggered by programming the tags for iPhones without having previously added such a Shortcut? Such that anyone can come in and tap their phone to a tag to connect to my network?

Similarly, can this be accomplished for pairing to a specific bluetooth device? I know this is possible with a Shortcut, but I am wondering if it can be done on iPhones without any Shortcuts previously added.
