Can’t configure Walker talkie feature Posted: 09 Jun 2020 08:06 AM PDT What is the process to configure this feature?? I cannot get it to work for the life of me. Is it really that difficult or is it that it just is not available as an option for me. We have the I watch 5 and the newest update. Edit: know of one person who this works for and they use the feature all the time. He tried to help me but he couldn't. :-( [link] [comments]
Posted: 09 Jun 2020 08:00 AM PDT I'm looking into smartwatches and the apple watch seems the most attractive/balanced to me in terms of functionality and fitness accuracy that I'm looking for., As of now I'm an android phone user (I'm one of the bounce back and forth guys) but I do have an iPad pro I keep at home and use every so often for home browsing/drawing etc. Would you guys consider the apple watch a good purchase without native phone support and relying on just your stay-at-home ipad to sync up etc every day? What are the big features I'd be missing out on with this setup? [link] [comments]

Posted: 09 Jun 2020 03:29 AM PDT I use the infograph watch face on my AW 5. In the middle is the message and email complication. Why is it that when I get a message it shows the number of messages received but if I get an email it shows no numbers? Thanks [link] [comments]
Non-apple watch bands harder to get in/out? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 06:50 AM PDT I got some non-apple branded bands for my 38mm series 3 because i wanted more colors, and to not have to pay $50, but it seems like it's a lot harder to switch the bands out, has anyone else noticed this? are there any cheap bands that are easy to switch, or is part of the apple pricetag the ease of removal/insertion? DND While Driving for Apple Watch? Posted: 09 Jun 2020 06:13 AM PDT Edit: SOLVED. My constant use of DND on my iPhone never gave me the chance to see that when wearing an AW, the paired iPhone is essentially put on DND with all notifications only going to the watch. I'll turn "mirror DND" back on and delete this silly post later today. I've already sent this as a suggestion in Apple's Feedback Assistant app but I'm wondering if there's anyone else out there having the same issue with their watch distracting them while driving. I prefer to keep my iPhone on DND most of the time and have all my notifications go to my watch. This means I can not mirror DND on my iPhone. When driving, I prefer to not have any notifications or distractions and therefor have "DND While Driving" turned on for my iPhone (a little redundant if DND is always on but it'll auto reply to text messages for me). The issue is that since I don't mirror DND on my watch from my phone, I still have the distraction of my watch vibrating on my wrist for every notification, some barely worth my attention, but being human, I can't help but be curious in that moment and look. I know I could manually set my watch to DND with just a swipe up and a tap but then I'd also have to undo that when I'm done driving, a habit I can't pretend I'll be disciplined with, especially for shorter drives. That lack of discipline is pretty much why Apple added "DND While Driving" to the iPhone and therefor I feel should add this option for the watch without having to always mirror DND overall. I requested to Apple that they give a separate option in the watch settings under DND for "Mirror iPhone's DND While Driving" [link] [comments]
Series 3 disregarding toggling off Auto Launch Audio Apps Posted: 09 Jun 2020 06:09 AM PDT My series 3 always wakes to the music app when music is playing even with the toggle turned off. I've already restored phone and watch. Anything else I can try? [link] [comments]
Getting calendar notifications for events that have been moved Posted: 09 Jun 2020 06:00 AM PDT So. Originally had a meeting scheduled for 9 am today. A few days ago, that meeting was moved. Just now, I got a notification on my watch for the upcoming meeting. Which has been moved. When I open my phone and check the calendar, the event is appropriately not set for this morning, but for 2 weeks from now, as it's supposed to be. So is there a way to fix this? Where is the AW pulling the info from, and when, that would cause it to create a notification for an event that has been moved? Any thoughts/tips/ideas welcome. Thanks! [link] [comments] |
