| Apple TV 4K - Black screen issue Posted: 09 Jun 2020 04:08 AM PDT TV - Samsung JS7200 - 50" Apple TV 4K HDMI cable - 0.9m Variant I have this issue whereby the screen goes black for a few seconds and then comes back on or sometimes it will say no source on HDMI 3 (ARC port) If I set the output to 1080p 50/60hz it does not do the above I've tested with another HDMI cable and I still have the same issue I just need to know what are the possible solutions or is the TV not supported? | AppleTV HDR issues with brand new Samsung Q80T Posted: 08 Jun 2020 10:49 AM PDT Just purchased a Samsung Q80T and everything looks great, other than the AppleTV being unable to enable HDR. When I try to enable it, AppleTV goes into test mode, flickers the signal a few times, then the TV says there is no source detected. So I have to back out and go back to non-HDR. Setup is:
All connections are via brand-new hi-speed HDMI cables from Monoprice. HDR works just fine from PS4 (PS4 > Denon AVR-S910W > Samsung Q80T) so the issue is something specific to AppleTV. I've spent hours messing with all permutations of video settings in the AppleTV, Denon AVR, and Samsung TV. Any ideas on how to enable HDR from the AppleTV? [link] [comments]  | ||

| How to add the Home/TV button to a universal remote? Posted: 08 Jun 2020 01:37 PM PDT Hello, I want to add the Home/TV Button from the standard apple tv 4 HD remote to an universal TV remote. In the settings you can teach all the basic functions to another remote, except the Siri and Home/TV button. the siri one I do understand, because there is no microphone in other remotes, but why can't I teach the other one to my remote? My universal tv remote also comes with a direct learning method where you place two remotes next to each other and it's learning the right frequency, but this doesn't work for the apple tv remote eather.
