    I had this issue today so I called support and they escalated the issue to the engineers. They then called me back and said they are sending me a box to send them the watch so they can update the software free of charge. They are getting a lot of people calling with this issue so ask them to escalate. I hope this helps everyone, I've tried going through all the old posts with this issue and pasting the same comment. PLEASE UP VOTE SO THIS GETS SEEN.

    EDIT: You don't need warranty or Apple Care to do this.

    Sent my S0 in for a battery replacement. €90 and should be back by end of next week. The missing is real! Had to go back to my phone alarm for the morning which just reminds me that I hate the phone alarm....

    I was thinking how much I enjoy my activity tracker, being able to on my wrist how much I have done today and adjust my activity around it. Is there anything like that for budgeting? Like something that you could connect to Mint or a credit card to show your daily/weekly spending so that you can catch when you get close to your pre-determined limit?

    Does the watch overcount calories for strength workouts?

    When you're resting in between sets and not doing anything, but your heart rate is still a little high for the previous set, will those calories be an overestimate?

    S5 AW and sending texts to Android.

    As the title states I'm a little confused. I got my series 5 watch a couple of months ago and it is just a GPS only no cellular. But for some reason I cannot send texts to android users for the life of me. I've tried googling answers and couldn't find much besides to check that "Send as SMS" is turned on and to turn of iMessage and turn it back on. And then restart both devices. Both did not work. I'm I screwed because I didn't get the cellular version? I feel like my series 1 did it just fine but now I'm confused. Any help is greatly appreciated.

    Apple watch work while Iphone in airplane mode?

    Just bought my wife a Series 5 (cellular) for work, she works out in the oilfield, miles away from her locker which is where she keeps her phone. Since her phone is always searching for a signal, she usually puts it in airplane mode to save the battery

    Apparently her watch doesn't work if her phone is in airplane mode, which I figured since the watch is taking it's own signal, it would work.

    Just wondering if there is anyway around this, to keep her phone in her locker without killing the battery, and having her watch work?
