For some reason my Apple TV 4K keeps switching the source of my shows and movies. For example: I own The Middle on iTunes. When I finish an episode on Apple TV, the next episode begins to play on Amazon Prime (with commercials). This happens every day, from swapping something I was watching on Food Newtwork to Hulu, but mainly to things I already own to other apps. Any tips or solutions to stop this? Thanks! | Posted: 02 Jun 2020 05:02 PM PDT I love the idea of having apps on an entertainment device, especially on something so centric to the household, but the selection of what you'd expect to find is a little dismal - I mean most people (myself included) will have streaming apps galore, and maybe games as well - spoilt for choice there - but some informative stuff would also be useful. We have weather on every other Apple device, and a host of apps that provide even more information - but the Apple TV is down to three apps, and they're lacking in features and depth that their iOS/iPad OS/macOS counterparts have. It's frustrating. Am I alone in that thinking? It reminds me of when the Apple Watch when it was still a novel device and app developers jumped on the bandwagon and then quickly jumped off for awhile. [link] [comments]  | ||
| Posted: 02 Jun 2020 10:50 AM PDT I've had this service for awhile, originally subscribing to DirecTV Now. Just recently the audio has started going out of sync very fast. It starts fine, but within 30 seconds it starts to lag. Pausing/unpausing the video lets it catch up but only for another 30 seconds or so. Any ideas? It's only this one app. [link] [comments]  | ||

| New Apple TV in the next week? Posted: 02 Jun 2020 08:10 AM PDT Total speculation, but, I'm seeing little to no stock availability of the 64gb Apple TV on Amazon and Best Buy. Amazon has the 32gb available to be shipped. I've checked multiple Best Buy locations in different cities and they also have the 32gb available for pickup in one hour or to be shipped in a day. However, the 64gb, which is the expected base storage for the forthcoming 6th gen, is not available on Amazon and ALL the Best Buy stores I've checked list Wed, Jun 10th for pickup.
