- Anyone know why this happens? iPhone 8 Plus. It’s happened for years. Usually happens every few days when I swipe down for spotlight search. It’s unusable and have to click home button to get away. Only things that fixes it is restarting the phone
- I bought something with Family Sharing and it was waiting approval, then it got approved but I haven’t received it yet?
- After resetting my iPad mini and changing the name of the iPad on the Apple ID it still says an the old name
- Every time I wake my new macbook from being asleep, my trackpad is disabled and this pops up. It takes like 20 times pressing CMD+Q before I can use it again?
- Lost MacBook Air 2019 has been found
- My Apple account is disabled and I can’t download anything is there any way I can undisable it without having to call?

| Do cases exist for the new 2020 MacBook Pros? Posted: 05 Jun 2020 08:40 PM PDT Hello all, I recently bought a new MacBook Pro (2020 13 inch with 4 thunderbolt 3 ports) and I wanted to get a hard case for it. From what I'm seeing though, cases for this particular MacBook don't really exist yet. I've heard that some 2019 cases will work, but that the 2020 model is slightly thicker due to the keyboard so these cases aren't really made for them. Basically what I'm asking is: do any cases for this model exist yet? And if not will a 2019 case work without damaging the MacBook? Thanks for reading! [link] [comments]  |

| Ipad pro stuck on apple logo, and it won't restore using itunes Posted: 05 Jun 2020 07:49 PM PDT Hi, i dropped my ipad pro 10.5 inch and now it has been stuck on the apple logo. I've tried to restore it using itunes in DFU mode but it will not restore because it gives me an error "Ipad cannot be restored unknown error 6 or 9". I tried different cables and my itunes and computer is all up to date but i still get the same error and my ipad is still stuck on the logo. What else should I do? Edit: just checked my ipad again and it turns on with the apple logo but then enters a black screen indefinitely. [link] [comments]  |

| 2018 13" MacBook Pro Panic Restart Posted: 05 Jun 2020 10:09 PM PDT I just had my keyboard repaired last week because I had issues with certain keys and the trackpad randomly not responding. I have never had any issues with crashes or panic restarts prior to this. I was doing homework tonight in Excel and Safari, and then my keyboard and trackpad were not responding all of a sudden. After a few minutes, I also realized my monitor was frozen since the time had not changed. It was frozen for 4 minutes and then the computer restarted on its own. The only thing I had plugged into my computer was my power cord. I booted into recovery mode and ran FirstAid in Disk Utility, but it came back with no errors. Does anyone know what the code below might reveal as the issue? Any help or insight will be greatly appreciated. | 2011 27 iMac randomly Restarting Posted: 05 Jun 2020 06:04 PM PDT I have a 2011 iMac 27 inch I got for free yesterday. It was extremely slow and would crash and reboot when it booted into the desktop. 1/10 reboots I would be able to access the desktop long enough for everything to load in and be able to check the specs. I did a PRAM and SMC reset, I wiped and repaired the hard drive (it was surprisingly stable in disk utility and reinstalling Mac OS) I threw High Sierra and now it runs a bit more stable, and I can get it on the desktop on almost all boots and it runs much snappier. It still randomly reboots a few minutes after booting up, but I have no Idea what is causing it. It could be the hard drive, because it was super stable during disk utility and didn't crash while I was wiping/reinstalling. It could be a graphics card issue(?) as I've heard these have that but I'm honestly not sure and I want to ask you guys before I go out to buy replacement parts so I know what's wrong with it. I put the account back on his phone and tried to sync the contacts but only a few came. We connected his phone to his computer and went to restore contacts with iTunes or iCloud (can't remember which) from 4 previous backups, but all of them were the same - no additional contacts (which makes no sense, because he definitely had them all back then when the backups were made). I have my personal account, and my school account. On my school account I should only be getting stuff sent by my school, teachers, etc., but I'm getting emails from my personal account too. Emails from things like microsoft or spotify are being sent to my school email, even though I only made the accounts for those things with my personal email. | Can’t restore iPhone 6 Plus not even in DFU mode Posted: 05 Jun 2020 09:21 PM PDT I'm officially lost on this one. I have this device that's stuck in a boot loop. It's a iPhone 6 Plus. I can put it into recovery mode and after 2 minutes it restarts. Even if I try restoring it in ITunes it restarts and This makes the update fail. Now I thought why don't I try DFU mode. Good news is it doesn't restart in 2 minutes. Bad news is when I start the restore it gets to about 20% (about 2 minutes) and restarts! I've noticed that even while doing simple tasks the fan starts up, and even while it may be quiet it's still concerning to my that it'll only be open while playing a small game of watching Netflix. | iPhone audio when making phone calls keeps cutting in and out Posted: 05 Jun 2020 08:32 PM PDT Me and my GF both have an iPhone 11 Pro Max, latest software. But for whatever reason as of about a week ago the phone call audio drops in and out for me. She will be speaking and then all of a sudden her phone will stop accepting audio, like her mic cuts off, then eventually picks back up. It's not a connectivity issue as far as we know. Usually when it's connectivity issues we will know because we experience those every day she drives through a dead zone. We both tried restarting out phone, getting rid of noise canceling. Resetting networking settings. Tried different apps to make phone calls. Regular cellular calls suck because the audio is just way too weak, so we also do WiFi calls like FaceTime audio or Facebook audio as a backup, along with other apps. We can't figure it out. A little sluggish once and awhile, but I don't do anything very intense. I just read this article though and I did some digging. | Pseudo-verbose startup - unable to get iMac to start up normally. Posted: 05 Jun 2020 08:01 PM PDT I just purchased a 27" iMac less than 2 weeks ago. It is, of course, on Catalina, running 10.15.5. It is the 3 GHz 6-core i5 with 8 gigs of ram and Radeon Pro 570X card. I sort of glossed over the scrolling text, as I was coming from a Windows computer, and had forgotten what a Mac startup looked like, then one day I was like wait what the hell? This thing shouldn't be showing any scrolling text at startup! It looks a little like starting up in verbose mode, but is significantly shorter, and happens in the middle of the progress bar you would normally see, then goes back to showing the Apple logo and progress bar and finishes. I have so far tried:
All to no avail. Has anyone experienced this? If so, what caused the issue? How did you fix it? I recognize this could be far too little information to go on, but figured I would ask here, just in case. [link] [comments]  |

I go into AppleTV and easily 85% of the first page results are to rent or buy. I search the word "Here" and it shows every movie on earth with the word here in it, not just Apple+ subscription. There is a teensy, tiny whiite icon, I realize. But I only want to see the stuff I have paid for already. There is no Apple+ app available to add to the main menu. Any tips? [link] [comments]  |
| Battery life draining awfully fast. Posted: 05 Jun 2020 07:46 PM PDT My battery life is now 97%, now that may seem a lot but last week it was 98% and the week before that it was 99%. I got my iphone 11 3 months ago and im concerned that my battery is draining fast. I play games around 4 hrs a day, does this affect my Battery life? And my average screen time is 6-7 hrs a day. | iphone XR wont connect to internet outside of wifi Posted: 05 Jun 2020 07:40 PM PDT I left my house today to go grocery shopping, when I got in the car i set up my phone to the bluetooth like I normally do. I pressed shuffle on my playlist and my music played (my downloaded songs) but then when it got to the ones not downloaded they wouldn't play. When i got to the store i tried to check it and it still wouldnt work. I checked a few apps to see if it was just spotify but none of them connected to the internet. When I got home I began searching up solutions. I tried resetting my network settings, resetting the phone but neither of those worked. Im kinda stumped because I keep turning off my wifi to see if it works. I get good signal at my house but it still wouldnt work. I can see the bars rise up and down and they even say LTE. | Posted: 05 Jun 2020 06:25 PM PDT Basically I did a reset of my iPad, and I set it up as a new iPad then I disabled an option that said something like transfer data back to Apple or something. Then when I go to the settings I changed the iPad name and put it in my name (let's say that before it was called iPad 1 and I went to settings to change it to iPad 2) however when I checked the Apple ID on my phone it still said the old iPad name (iPad 1) So what's going on how to I fix this? Does that mean they were able to get in my laptop? It was password protected. I tried to erase the device but it still says erase pending. My friend said it's because it hasn't been connected to wifi yet, but how is that so if it's showing my location?
