Also i'm not an apple/iphone user it's my kid's phone so I have no idea what i'm doing. The phone storage is basically full, i'm thinking it's not saving on the phone cause it's full? Posted: 12 May 2020 12:00 AM PDT So ive been doing this glitch for a mobile game recently that consists of turning of internet so game servers dont detect you, going 2-5 years in the past and changing the time two weeks ahead (or more) to get welcome back rewards that are every two weeks.( change time go in app claim rewards and repeat) Normally, I do it until i'm near the present or until im bored then i just go back to auto time and turn my internet back on. When i do it, my iphone says iphone not backed up for months or weeks and starts an icloud backup or tells me to do one. Should i be worried about that? | MAJOR CAMERA ISSUE ON 11 PRO MAX Posted: 11 May 2020 08:16 PM PDT I purchased an unlocked iPhone 11 Pro Max (256g) back in December of 2019 and phone was completely fine until I started noticing two black dots in the pictures taken from the front camera (looks pixelated) I thought it might be some dust stuck underneath removed the protector and wiped it off but it was still there The dots increase in size when I zoom in especially noticeable when I use Snapchat. The dots are seen on every camera app I use including the default. I can't go to the Apple store because of the ongoing lockdown. What should I do??? | Posted: 11 May 2020 06:39 PM PDT I have an iPhone X and the screen for some reason died. I know the whole phone isn't completely dead because it will make that really loud siren sound when you hold down the power and volume buttons, and it will vibrate when switching between silent and not silent. I want to get photos and videos off of it, but it doesn't seem to show up on my 2018 MacBook Air when I plug it in. It will show up in recovery mode, and I try updating it, but it doesn't work. | iphone 7+ trouble after screen repair/accidentally disabled phone Posted: 11 May 2020 06:35 PM PDT So I busted my screen on my 7+ yesterday and it wasn't that bad except that it clearly messed up the touch sensory part more than the actual glass, so it was difficult to do anything on it before it would start trying to call my mom or open a random app. Not a huge deal, my roommate fixes screens and just now fixed mine for me. problem is that my phone would not let me turn it off, it would let me put on do not disturb, but basically even though i left it alone all day it managed to disable itself to the point where it says "iphone is disabled/connect to itunes" got the new screen put on and trying to plug it into my computer and nothing is coming up on itunes or anything. Is hard reset basically my only option here? checked the charging cable to make sure it isnt a dud; however ive never backed up or used itunes on this computer [link] [comments]  |

I've been getting hammered by porn spam and phishing SMS texts for months, and I haven't found a way to block them. I turned on the Filter Unknown Senders option, but the spam still lands in my primary iMessage inbox and generates a notification. I'm also running the RoboKiller app with SMS filtering turned on but it doesn't seem to do anything. These texts are not coming from phone numbers--they're coming from gmail, yahoo and hotmail email accounts. Is there anything I can do to block these? [link] [comments]  |

I have a Bose at my apartment that sometimes won't work when it needs the software updated but then I had the same issue with a speaker at my boyfriends house. the phone connects and each speaker even says "connected to iPhone" - on the phone's end it says it's connected to the speaker, but nothing plays out of the speaker. I called Tmobile to unlock, and they said its not locked to them but to Tracfone. I contacted Tracfone, and they said its not in their database. It is not in any blacklists. I used two third party websites (paid), which showed it was indeed locked to Tracfone/StraightTalk. Tracfone denied this. Am I doing something wrong?? [link] [comments]  |

| iPhone 6 with broken backlight and home button Posted: 11 May 2020 10:10 AM PDT HELP! after dropping my phone it's gone very weird, and I can't go to an apple store because of the pandemic. The home button fully does not work and the backlight is a bit broken. I can use it for periods of time (where it's completely fine), but then randomly the screen goes static, freezes, and then slowly fades to a black screen. Then my only purchased app was offloaded and when i tried to reinstall it, it just said cannot download apps that are not purchased. My iPhone ran out of battery, and I had to restart. Therefore, I can't unlock the phone by typing in the password or by using Siri to enable VoiceOver. I was therefore wondering if I can unlock my phone without 1) fixing the screen and 2) wiping it. I am using an iPhone 6, bought in Hong Kong, running iOS 12.1. It is also jailbroken, but Cydia is not installed. The cause of this problem is accidentally dropping the device on a tiled floor. There is no warranty covering it. Issue is that my NFC chip doesn't seem to be working, I have tried using multiple NFC scanner apps (Decode, NFC Tools, NFC TagInfo, NFC for iPhone) when attempting to scan something I don't get the "ready to scan" pop up and then the app will freeze and I will have to force close them. This happens every time I attempt to scan. My phone has been dropped a few times from waist height onto carpet, never any hard surfaces. My phone also has been in humid environments a few times but wasn't getting wet. I haven't tried reading tags before now so I don't know if it worked at any point. I ordered the spare part but it came with the ring and the technician couldn't separate the glass of the ring .. hi could change it but only with opening the phone and I would lost the warranty in this case.
