[Release] COVID Tracker: Track current COVID cases Globally, per Country, per State, and more!

    Hello everyone!

I posted about a week ago about my upcoming application, COVID Tracker, and it's finally ready for all of you to try out! The link to that post is here: Upcoming Post

With this application, you are able to:

    • View cases, deaths, recovered, tests, and countries affected Globally
    • View cases, deaths, recovered, and tests per Country
    • View cases, deaths, and recovered per State
    • View Testing locations in about 12 states (more to be added!) and their addresses, phone numbers, and daily hours.
    • View news articles related to COVID-19.

    Screenshots:

    Global Page

    Sources View

You can grab the latest IPA from the releases page of the GitHub located here: COVID Tracker - Releases

Please install through your favorite sideloading application, such as Cydia Impactor, Reprovision, or AltStore!

I also plan on posting it on my own repo very soon so you can install on your jailbroken device even easier!

Note: Due to being currently written almost fully in SwiftUI, this works on iOS 13+. News tab is known to cause a crash when the API receives multiple calls in a short time, but i'm currently implementing a fix with the data source!

Let me know what you guys think! I hope you like it :)

[Tutorial] Compiling futurerestore for linux, with libipatcher support

[Tutorial] Compiling futurerestore for linux, with libipatcher support

Since I've seen multiple issues regarding how to do this, I have done so myself. Right now, linux guide is done, and the only guide right now. I have done all of this on MacOS and Windows so its doable, with the right environment. You may ask why this is useful? Well, compiling libipatcher with enable you to use OTA shsh for 32 and 64 bit devices. Also, thanks to axi0mX, downgrading is even easier with checkm8. You can follow my guide and hopefully end up with a futurerestore which has the features to do so. Note: guide doesn't have a good look to it, so feel free to add your changes and put a pull request at https://github.com/merculous/merculous.github.io. Both guides, and even pre-built futurerestore will be added, just give me some time and all of those will be added soon.

    Get started here: https://merculous.github.io/futurerestore/

If I didn't miss anything, once you compile futurerestore, it should look like this:

[Question] How does Appstore++ work exactly?

    Posted: 01 May 2020 04:57 AM PDT

Question but also ELI5: I've been wondering this and haven't found an answer yet. How does it work exactly? I mean, I know how to use it but I'm wondering where it gets all the previous versions from? Are they preloaded (like already present) within the Appstore but only made visible thanks to jailbreak? Or is it more complicated than that? Thanks for anyone who can clarify. I just like knowing how stuff works.

[Upcoming] Legizmo: Pairing Newer Watches with an older version of iOS

    Posted: 30 Apr 2020 07:00 AM PDT

    Hi, first post here.

I'm working on a tweak for iOS that will allow you to pair a Watch running a version of watchOS that does not support the version of iOS you are currently running.

I recently purchased a Series 5, however it came on 6.2 which does not support iOS 13.3. I can now confirm I have been able to pair this Watch with my iPhone on 13.3.

Therefore, I would like to know if there are any other users in a similar situation who would like to give this a test when it's ready. Hopefully there's demand for it!

EDIT: Video is available at https://youtu.be/RqsdxAPc-JM Sorry it's crude, just put it together quickly to demonstrate it working

    [Release]Counted: Your days are Counted

    Posted: 30 Apr 2020 06:13 AM PDT

Counted is a tweak that (when tapped) turns your clock into a countdown and shows the amount of days left before a previous set date arrives. This way you can - for example - easily keep track of the amount of days left before this quarantine is over.

When clicked again, the countdown goes away.

    Settings

    • Enabling / Disabling the tweak
    • Set the countdown Subject
    • Select one of 4 ways to display the text
    • Set the alignment (needed for when you align your clock to the left/right)
    • Font weight

The settings don't need a respring to be applied.

[Release] URLSchemer , Modify, Add, Remove URLSchemes

    Posted: 30 Apr 2020 10:35 AM PDT

[Release] URLSchemer , Modify, Add, Remove URLSchemes

Enable the CanOpen ability for any app or change it. Example, Installer hijacks Cydia Zebra etc. URLSchemer can remove those hijacks. Lets Say an app does not have an ability to open via a URLSchemes, Now it can. Let's say you want an app to open to another app but the app you're using then pressing its link to open the other app doesn't open the app you prefer to open, ie open Firefox instead of safari. Please note this is the initial release and so far URLSchemer cannot handle complicated URLSchemes.

[Release][Update] Konban for iOS 13 - Replaces the "Today" view with an app of your choice. Originally made by Nepeta. Rewritten for iOS 13 by nicho1asdev.

[Release][Update] Konban for iOS 13 - Replaces the "Today" view with an app of your choice. Originally made by Nepeta. Rewritten for iOS 13 by nicho1asdev.

Hey there! I Really hope that you are all doing well!

I've been working really hard on rewriting Nepeta's Konban tweak for iOS 13 as it's only supported by iOS 12. As you may or may not know, the tweak developer Nepeta retired last year (I think) making tweaks. Fortunately all of her work was open sourced so other people are able to update the amazing free tweaks that she made.

iOS 13 changed a lot of stuff in the FrontBoard framework regarding FBScenes and FBSceneHosts. I did very much research to understand and implement the new way of getting the host view and much more.

This tweak is open sourced here: https://github.com/nicho1asdev/Konban.

The tweak is in beta and free and on my repo: https://nicho1asdev.github.io/repo/.

If you have any questions, find any bugs, have a feature idea or tweak idea, please dm me on Twitter @itsnicho1as.

If you don't know what Konban is, it puts an app of your choice such as the calculator app instead of the today view. I will be updating this with new features, such as quick change of apps and other stuff. :)

    [Request] Email Header for iOS

    Posted: 01 May 2020 01:37 AM PDT

Hello, I was wondering if there is a tweak, if not, possibly interested in making a tweak to view an email header from the mail application on iOS. I figured this would be a very useful tool and very convenient to just check it from your phone instead of constantly logging into a computer to access the header. Let me know if it's possible to design a tweak like this on iPhones.

[Help] iPhone going to an update screen after exiting DFU mode

    Posted: 01 May 2020 04:55 AM PDT

Every time I exit DFU mode on my iPhone (such as when I jailbreak it) it goes to a white screen saying "Swipe up to unlock." After I do that it goes to an update screen with the apple logo and a bar underneath moving across. After that finishes it takes me to my lockscreen. This does't change anything, but I never knew about it until recently and it concerns me a little bit. Why is this happening?

[Release] StopItWithTheCoins (free/open source) | Hides several coin promotions and usages in the official Reddit app.

    Posted: 30 Apr 2020 10:24 AM PDT

With every update, Reddit seems to be adamant about continuing to try to get us to use and buy coins whenever possible. I get they're a business and need to make money, but this is incredibly annoying to me and I assume people don't want to be constantly bombarded with "hey spend your money on this app right now." This aims to resolve that by hiding some of these features. Currently, this tweak allows you to:

    • Hide the coin button on the search bar
    • Hide awarded comment highlights (including the fire emoji animation, honestly just wtf is that?)
    • Hide the gild button on comments/posts
    • Hide the "Get Coins" and "Reddit Premium" cells in the pullover menu.

All of these are hidden by default, but each can be configured in settings.

It's available on https://lint.github.io/repo or you can download the deb. Also, here's the source code.

If I missed anything, or if it isn't working for you, let me know. Happy Redditing!
