Getting an iPhone 11 soon, would an Apple Watch be a good companion for it? Posted: 26 May 2020 11:21 PM PDT I currently have a Samsung Galaxy S9+ and I'm switching soon to an iPhone 11 128GB in Product Red, I would love to get an Apple Watch to go with it, I currently have a Galaxy Watch Active but I rarely use it, I can get both on contract for about £63 per month, so I don't think it's a bad price at all, I have my heart set on the 40mm Gold as I have quite small wrists and I love the gold colour, I am going to get the Pride Sport Strap as well, would it be a worthwhile investment, my first smartwatch was a Fitbit Versa and I loved it, I was gutted when it broke, I didn't like my Galaxy Watch Active much to be honest, not one of my favourite watches tbh, but I'm hoping with getting the Apple Watch I'll be more active, my health isn't great at the moment, I'm currently suffering from a pulled chest muscle and I have flat feet which gives me pain whenever I walk. What do you guys think? Is an Apple Watch worth the investment if I'm getting an iPhone 11? [link] [comments]
Costco Apple Watch Series 5 Deal For Members Posted: 26 May 2020 10:01 PM PDT Hey! I just thought I'd share this deal from Costco. I would also like some advice. This is going to be my first smartwatch. Is it reliable to buy from Costco or should I buy it from Bestbuy? Edit: Thanks for all the replies! I'm gonna go get it today. Really excited to join this subreddit with all of you kind people. [link] [comments]
Watch Now Playing works with iPod Touch? Posted: 27 May 2020 05:31 AM PDT My Watch's Now Playing currently works with my Watch itself, my iPhone, and my Apple TV. Would it also work with an iPod Touch? Can anyone test this? [link] [comments]
Replacement watch and cellular Posted: 27 May 2020 05:28 AM PDT Hi there. I am getting my watch replaced because of a battery issue today. I am wondering about the cellular plan. Should I keep it when I unpair the old watch? That's what I am thinking I just don't want ATT to have a meltdown because of this. Thanks! [link] [comments]

Posted: 27 May 2020 07:41 AM PDT I'm running 13.5 on my phone and 6.2.5 on my Series 5 AW. A couple nights ago, right as I was about to go to bed (I sleep with my watch), I got an alert that I needed to change the passcode on my watch. It wouldn't let get out of the prompt. I don't remember the exact text, however, but it was something about how my phone and watch can't have the same passcode (I've had the same one on both devices going back to the original Apple watch). So I changed it, but then went to change it back and it says, "The passcode you entered was recently used. Please create a new one." So now I'm stuck with the new one, and 5 years worth of muscle memory to retrain. This happen to anyone else? I guess this is a new "feature" in the the OS updates. [link] [comments]
Posted: 27 May 2020 07:40 AM PDT Not sure if this is appropriate for this sub but I've worn my series 3 everyday for the last 2 years(or really 1 year 350 days or so), and just the other day I stepped on mine and broke it. I have apple care plus and have like two weeks to decide if I want to pay 80 dollars to fix it or just buy the 5. I literally was telling my dad about Memorial Day sale so that he could upgrade his series 2 and then right after it passed mine broke. So my question first is, are there any other upcoming sales like the one that just passed? Also, how much do you recommend the 5, like is it worth the money or should I just pay to have mine fixed? best place to get gold hardware bands? Posted: 27 May 2020 07:11 AM PDT so this is my predicament...i really love the brown modern buckle band ( https://www.apple.com/ca/shop/product/MWRC2AM/A/40mm-saddle-brown-modern-buckle-small?fnode=65e1a09f98ba95b13b44d162229492100e89fab9a122b9a8ab6b4f970c1ec83d262b50c2d7b2da93342ffb4bdfeeac74f153f6866d5465bf826cb64e3655f3b47c32bca0262cba82c07b1d5d13c0806c ) but have the gold watch and also wear mostly gold so i dont love that the buckle is silver...does anyone know where i can find a band that's really similar but with a gold buckle? Question on watch faces and background app use Posted: 27 May 2020 06:22 AM PDT I mainly use the info graph watch face and always have the noise monitor on all the time on the face. I work in a industrial setting and don't always realize how loud it can get while working and want to protect my already bad hearing. One thing I have been wondering about is if I switch to a different face that I don't have the noise app on, does it shut off the notifications when the dB gets too high? Reason I ask is when I am in a loud environment I always use hearing protection and having my watch go off all the time is kind of a nuisance. Thanks for the help watch gurus! [link] [comments]
