Posted: 27 Apr 2020 05:53 AM PDT I normally do not take apple care for any of their products but I have recently purchased an AW series 5. Is it worth it for this product? Thanks [link] [comments]

Can I fill my activity rings with my iPhone? Posted: 27 Apr 2020 05:44 AM PDT I am not allowed to wear watches 8-10hrs a day at my job, however I carry my iPhone in my pocket. When I take my watch off at work will my phone continue to count towards the activity rings? [link] [comments]
Worth getting a S3 at this stage? Posted: 27 Apr 2020 05:04 AM PDT Hey folks. Happy Apple Watch user - but I'm looking for some advice for a potential gift. My wife is looking for a new smart watch and while she's mentioned some cheaper FitBits I'm wondering if the Watch might be a better option for her. From using it I know it's a great device, but I'm not sure if charging every day / every other day will put her off. Rather than paying top dollar for a S5 that she ends up not liking, I was thinking a S3 could be a good compromise - but I'm conscious that it'll be 3 years old in September, and possible obsolete in terms of OS updates by late 2021. Unfortunately her birthday is in June so I can't wait for the line refresh... am I better off holding fire altogether - or taking a punt on the S5 - than going down the S3 route at this stage? Posted: 26 Apr 2020 10:59 AM PDT I am an avid hiker, runner, etc. so the gps tracking has always been interesting but I don't know what I'd do with the data to be honest. I hate lugging my phone around (even though it's v1 SE) and don't like texting, so this might be a good compromise. I still may return it, but I'll check it out for now 🤷🏽♂️ I got a 44mm Cellular At least I'll be able to climb off this damn fence 👌 [link] [comments]
Maps has some annoying thing going on Posted: 27 Apr 2020 04:28 AM PDT So sometimes I use maps when I drive by my motorcycle and I like to use the maps overview (with the actual map) But what is very annoying and almost kills that feature is that when I dont look at my watch for a view minutes, the map location needs to keep up visually first. Its super annoying and I dont understand why it cant be updated in the background like it should. Not to mention that it has absolutely not support for AOD The voice navigation works fine. What actions do you take to ensure that using the Apple Watch leads to less time on the phone? Posted: 27 Apr 2020 12:12 AM PDT One of the main goals I had in mind when I purchased an Apple Watch was to spend less time with my phone. Because I think I often pick it up when a notification is coming in that might not be that important actually, but as soon as I have it on I proceed to check other things too. So being able to check the importance of notifications quickly on my wrist to decide whether to pick up the phone or not might help. What other tips do you have to reduce smartphone time with the help of your Apple Watch? [link] [comments] |
