    To connect your airpods quickly: press and hold the Play/Pause button and you will see your audio options (including airpods) available for connecting.

    Beats the crap out of digging around throug the settings app.

    I know a lot of us have been complaining about what content is presented in the 'Watch Now' section of the TV app. Just noticed two new rows called 'Free Movies to Stream' & 'Free TV to Stream. Both only had content I already had access to which is a big step in the right direction. Hopefully if we all keep complaining then the 'Watch Now' section will consist of nothing but the content we already have.

    Apple TV software update 7.5 introduces support for controlling Apple TV (3rd generation) via Control Centre on an iOS or iPadOS device. However, it does not seem to work for me and many others.

    I have seem a few threads (mainly the initial release thread) where users are saying that the ability to control their Apple TV does not work.

    Not working when screen sharing

    On my laptop, the video player was blank but I could see my mouse and pause button/slider etc. This was only while screen sharing on Kast, and also while screen sharing on Discord. Any help?

    Apple TV 4K is lagging on title scroll in Netflix, and freezes upon boot of Youtube.

    Hello, I have a 4K and an older Tv. Up until this month, everything was fine. But now, when I go to Netflix, the title browsing lags terribly. It does not do this on my PS4, but that is an energy hog, so I only use that for games/video playback. And when I first launch youtube, the remote is unreponsive in youtube. I have to restart the Apple TV for it to work.

    I haven't even been thinking that it's the HDMI, because this unit is stable and never moves, and everything has been fine up till now. But... could it be the cable? Very strange. Content is fine once accessed. But Netflix has now become unusable for me on the Apple TV... Thoughts?

    My Siri remote completely stopped working on my 4KTV purchased in November 2018. What do I do? Any fixes?

    It completely stopped working two Sunday's ago. I noticed it wasn't working right, so I plugged it into the lightning adapter. It charged, turned on for a bit, I could use it and completely stopped working since after that isolated time.

    I talked to a senior Apple advisor and he said there's nothing that can be done and that I need to replace it. It seems like an Apple 4K tv that's barely a year and a half old should have a Siri remote die without any damage or water damage.

    Are there any other fixes besides holding up on the volume and menu button simultaneously?

    I really am frustrated with this and love Apple products but damn, this shouldn't happen.

    Delayed video signal when hooked up to my receiver

    I have a ten-year-old Onkyo receiver hooked up to a projector. It works just fine with other content (PlayStation 4, FireTV Stick). When I use my 4k AppleTV with it, the audio starts immediately but there is a good 4-second delay before the video pops on. It's almost like it takes a second to figure out what video format it should be spitting out or something.

    Any thoughts on this? Is there a setting I should be looking at?

    I currently have a wireless "windows" 360 controller that I use for my PC games like FF15 or some other console-type games.

    I would like to play some Chrono Trigger on ATV, but the only controller I have is this 360 controller.

    Will I get another year of free Apple TV+ if I buy another Apple device?

    This fall when the new iPhone launches I plan on purchasing it. I also got an iPad last December, and got a free year of Apple TV+. Will I get another free year upon purchase of another Apple device or is the free year only a one time thing?

    So I have been having an issue with the Apple TV app, on my Roku TV. It seems to not want to play certain purchased TV shows. It will start playing fine for a while, and then immediately stop. It will come up with the message "this video is currently unavailable.

    For reference, the shows that the Apple TV app on Roku has trouble with, play fine on my iPhone and Mac. This is the second time I have encountered this issue. The first time was with Pokémon, and today it was with the OC.

    This is quite frustrating. Especially when you're paying for content. Not sure what to do. I have tried deleting the app in the past, but still doesn't fix the issue.

    Does anybody have any suggestions?

    Can’t swipe on remote OR remote app

    So I sat down to use my month old Apple TV 4K and the remote worked fine to turn it on along with my connected TV, but the touchpad is dead. There is no way to navigate the UI. The crazy thing is that the remote app on my iPhone acts the same way! Unplugged it and plugged it back in and there's no change.

    Hi! I'm not sure if this was posted before or not, I'm sorry if it was.

    I can't control the volume of the TV with the Apple TV remote only if I'm standing right in front of it, maybe from a 1 m distance max.

    Is there anything that I can do in order to fix this? I tried repairing, deleting the remotes, re-learning it etc.

    Anyone having this issue? Thanks in advance!
