[AUSTRALIA] - Telstra sending physical SIMs to eSIM users

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 07:28 PM PST

My wife just got this today. Out of nowhere Telstra mailed her a physical SIM, despite being on an eSIM since November last year. The letter attached basically details that if an eSIM is deactivated in the phone, and if it doesn't have a physical SIM, it will be unable to place emergency (000) calls, so they are sending out physical SIMs. This physical SIM is NOT linked to her account, and has no value, it's basically just a prepaid starter one. The way the letter is detailed makes it sound like they are blaming it as an Apple fault, but i suspect that's not the case, or we would be hearing about it more often, would we not? Anyone else heard anything like this?

    USB 3.0 for iPhone 12?

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 03:38 PM PST

I love using iphone but the transfer over USB 2.0 speed using lightniging cable is excruciating... Do you see in foreseeable future if Apple will update the transfer speed using cable? How likely can they implement this upgrade in iPhone 12?
