    What games are you playing?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 09:25 AM PST

I had surgery yesterday and I'm off work for 12 days, so I decided it's time to pick up my neglected iPad Pro. Just looking for games or other things to do to pass the time. Thanks In advance.

Mouse support in next OS if rumours of trackpad keyboard are to be believed?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 05:15 AM PST

Keep seeing rumours of trackpad keyboard being launched with new ipad pro and it makes me wonder if ipados14 would then add closer to full mouse support, not the fairly limited accessibility mouse option. I think dark mode was an accessibility feature before it went out as a full feature in following os, so maybe mouse will follow suit, as it feels like people would want more from a £200 keyboard than the mouse support currently available

    Thoughts?

Is there anything capable of making out the iPad Pro A12x?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 09:10 AM PST

The only thing I can think of is Final Cut Pro with crazy settings, it seems like even after a few years with the Pro gen 3 out there's nothing that really takes advantage of its power

Does anyone know if we have an ETA for the combined office app for iPad? And is there a beta?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 03:46 AM PST

I'm really keen to try it out, does anyone know if there's a known estimate for when it might release? I tried to install the beta but it was iPhone version only.

How to work on original file in Onedrive?

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 11:12 AM PST

Recently got the 7th gen Ipad with the logitech keyboard and am trying to make it an extension of my work computer.

    Currently, I save all my work files on onedrive. Ideally, I would like to be able to do this;

    1. work on a file (word, excel) on my computer and save it to onedrive
    2. open the file on my ipad
    3. make edits and save it
    4. open the same updated file on my computer.

Currently, when I open a file on my ipad it says it is read only and I have to save a copy of that file. Doing this results in 2 copies of the same files, 1 with edits I made on the ipad and the one I originally saved on my computer. Does anyone know how I can work on the same file on my ipad?

    Can’t choose permission to photos

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 08:55 AM PST

So I was gonna upload a picture in my video editor, I can't because It does not have permission to access photos, so I go to settings and it does not have a option to access photos. I have the latest version of iPadOS.

Alarm app with "Play once then stop" capability

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 07:23 AM PST

I am in need of an iOS app that can trigger user sounds on a schedule. An alarm app would work perfectly, except most of them loop the scheduled sound. Anyone familiar with one that can play a sound once, then stop? I am having trouble narrowing down my Google searches.

New user of an gen 6 iPad. Found that there is a dead zone on my used iPad.

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 06:49 AM PST

There is a dead zone down the middle of my screen (horizontally). I was wondering if it would be better to get it repaired at an apple retailer or fix it myself? Also I have taken a look on amazon for replacement parts. I assume I would need a new glass screen + digitizer and an lcd. Thanks for the help in advance.

    Random thicker lines in OneNote

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 07:02 AM PST

I'm using an iPad Air and Apple Pencil 1 to take notes in OneNote. The weird thing I'm running into is I'll get randomly thick, heavy lines. It usually happens when starting a new line. I'm also using the smart cover. Maybe when the smart cover is folded under the iPad it gives it some bounce tricking OneNote into thinking that I'm pressing harder than I actually am? Anyone else getting unexpected heavy lines?

Does anyone know if I can replace the storage chip in my iPad mini 2,

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 07:23 AM PST

As title suggests, I want to upgrade the storage of my iPad mini, as well as clear off the security restrictions as it's a college iPad. If you're wondering, I have finished college already, with the tablet being given to me to own, however I only just found it when going through my stuff and live too far away to get the security restrictions removed. I've taken apart android phones before but never an iPad. So, is it possible? Links to where I can buy a new storage chip would be appreciated :) Thanks

Anyone's iPad using a lot of upload bandwidth ?

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 04:52 PM PST

Recently I got an iPad Pro and loved it, but also I noticed that when it's conected to my home network uses a lot of upload bandwidth(Compared to my internet speed) to the point where the network is completely unresponsive and I can't even load a simple webpage.

It happened one day, and I just thaught it should be syncing something and after it does everything will be normal again, but almost a week has passed and in every network that I connect is the same story. I tried using the low data mode and it reduces the bandwith usage, but anyway I personally don't feel confortable not knowing what my device is uploading, it's my first Apple device ever, and I've loved the experience, but not having control of that is very disappointing

    Quality Status of Current IpadOS?

    Posted: 27 Feb 2020 06:07 PM PST

I heard on release iPadOS was TREMENDOUSLY buggy. I held off with my iOS so I had no issues doing work.
My ipad's started having mini-freezes and responsiveness cut outs when I'm using my apple pencil and sometimes hands in a drawing program, so am thinking an update might fix it. I don't think it's the program's fault cause it worked fine before, but regardless, I can't update the program without an iOS update.

Have things improved, or are there still glitches or annoyances you contend with? What set of problems might I be trading for?
