Logitech MX 3 is amazing with iPadOS and AssistiveTouch Posted: 22 Feb 2020 09:54 AM PST I purchased the Logitech MX 3 mouse the other day to increase my productivity with iPadOS. I gotta say it's an amazing mouse with the assistive touch features. I had the Microsoft pro mouse and always had problems with it keeping connected. Also when I would turn off assistive touch the mouse wouldn't reconnect until I re-paired it. I love all the buttons and got it configured great for my workflow. I also have a MacBook Pro and works great on there as well. Finally it charges via USB-C which is one less cable for me to carry around. [link] [comments]

Why are pdfs so huge when using scan option in Files? Posted: 22 Feb 2020 01:22 PM PST I had to scan a 4 page document and email it. When I scanned it from within the iPad Files app, it was 21 mb. Took forever to upload to iCloud, and I got an error message when I tried to email it as an attachment, something about it may be too large to send. I finally got out my portable scanner, an Epson ds-40, and installed the Epson app on the ipad. The pdf from that ended up being less than 2 mb. I'd like a good way to scan if I don't have access to the Epson scanner. Is there a way to adjust the built in iPad scan to a lower dpi? I haven't been able to find anyplace to change settings. My iPad is 6th gen with ipados 13.3.1. [link] [comments]

Apple Pencil Gen 2: Do i have to hold the pencil a certain way to use it? Posted: 21 Feb 2020 08:54 PM PST I've connected my pencil and charged it fully, the iPad is only registering some of the taps from the pencil. Is it normal to not register the taps at an angle? Did i buy a defective product? (it was refurb) EDIT: So the consensus is my pencil is defective and I'll be returning it! Thanks for the help iPad fam! [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Feb 2020 04:36 AM PST For those who use Affinity Photo... On a new iPad Pro how much storage is necessary, given that an external drive can be attached to it? Is 256GB workable? I have the three Affinity programs on my Macbook Pro Retina, along with a bunch of others. Thanks. [link] [comments]
Posted: 22 Feb 2020 03:23 AM PST Hey all, I have just purchased duet display and it works like a charm on my laptop using USB C, USB 3.1 type A. I connected it to a spare pc without IGPU in a USB 2.0 port (It's ancient) and it didn't work. Could this be to do with the fact it's USB 2.0 or the fact it doesn't have an integrated gpu instead of discrete? [link] [comments]
Best drawing/coloring app for toddlers? Posted: 22 Feb 2020 02:01 AM PST Hey everyone. I'm looking for recommendations of Pencil-compatible drawing and/or coloring apps for my 2-year old. Something that is extremely simple, but still allows them to be creative. An app with very little UI, few brushes and easy color selection? With the more grown-up ones we've been trying, I have to constantly "fix" things because my child has tapped some random control somewhere and the fun stops. Paper, Procreate, etc. are clearly not designed to be toddler foolproof. It seems that, as usual, 95% of the App Store search results are junkware. So I'm hoping I can get some suggestions from real humans. It doesn't have to be free, but I am not paying a subscription. Thanks in advance, iPadaroonies [link] [comments]
Posted: 21 Feb 2020 01:55 PM PST When using the USB C cable that came with the iPad, and connecting the iPad with the SSD, I can find the SSD in the finder but since it's password protected it won't open so I wonder if there is the SSD software anywhere or if it only works if the SSD is without password.
