How do you get your iPad Pro 2018 alerts to go on your wireless headphones? Posted: 06 Feb 2020 10:32 AM PST When I connect my Bose QC 2 wireless headphones on my iPad Pro 2018 they work perfectly fine, but when I put any alarms on, the audio comes out of the iPad and when someone tries to FaceTime me it defaults to the iPad Pro audio outlet. Is there a setting to fix this? I don't want my alarms to be heard by others if I got headphones on. [link] [comments]
Is it worth waiting for the iPad Pro 2020? Posted: 06 Feb 2020 02:19 PM PST As the title suggests... The 2018 iPad Pro (11") is fantastic. Has worked well, software updates make the machine "future-proof". But how future-proof would it be? 2 more years? 5 more years? What are everyone's thoughts? Given that the 2020 iPad Pro has a new A14X chip (which may delay the release to later this year), how much difference will it make if you're not doing SUPER powerful gaming or high performance requirements? Note: money isn't the issue, but it would be 10/10 if you could save a few hundred dollars on the 2018 model when the new 2020 one comes out. TLDR; Is the potential performance on the 2020 iPad Pro (and the fact that it's just newer) outweigh what is already great about the 2018 iPad Pro? [link] [comments]

iPad secrets, apps, or other general tips for new users Posted: 05 Feb 2020 09:57 PM PST As the title says. I just bought a iPad Pro 10.5 (2017). It's my first iPad and was wondering if you guys had any tips or nice little secret UI things it doesn't advertise. Even cool app recommendations help!! [link] [comments]
To all those programmers that have an iPad Posted: 06 Feb 2020 05:29 AM PST Do you use it for something related to your work? How has your work experience been with it? Do you use the apple pencil for it? I'm asking this because I'm a software engineer student and I'm really unsure about if I should buy an iApple Pencil alongside the iPad. I would use it to take some notes in my lectures, but I actually don't have much notes to take, as most of my teachers provide us with enough materials to study. This is why I would like to know if there is some use to the Apple Pencil with programming related stuff, as I find a bit useless to buy one if I'm barely going to use it, considering that I'm on a budget. question about moving files around in Files Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:43 AM PST So i'm testing something not common. My IPP has a usb drive attached via a hub. and a san's share is also connected. i'm using files twice over split screen, and have dragged approx 15gb from the usb direct to the san's share. is there anything that shows progress? even something to acknowledge that the task is going in the background? i think it ended up finishing. but the folder only became visible once completed. if there a setting i'm missing to show this? and can it run in the background? Is there a way to search in documents on an iPad running iPadOS? Posted: 06 Feb 2020 01:02 AM PST I'm using the smart folio keyboard and command + F seems to not work, but it works in safari. [link] [comments] |
