Is there a weekly weather forecast complication for the Series 3?

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 02:35 AM PST

Hi, I am looking for a weather complication that shows the weather forecast for the week. I have an apple watch series 3.

Would the glass scratch repair usually used for car windows help hide those little micro scratches on an Apple Watch (UnderTheShowerThought) or the liquid glass protector user for phones

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 03:19 AM PST

My watch has no scratches at all....for now....but I saw a lot of people posting photos of their scratched watches and it poped in my mind, would it help if they applied a little bit of the anti-scratch liquid or the liquid glass protector to hide the irritating scratches?

    New Faces

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 08:10 AM PST

Does anyone know how often Apple updates the faces gallery? I'm so bored with them all. Does anyone get their faces somewhere else?

Just completed my first 16 hour Apple Watch class teaching 55+ students at our local college. I have to say that it was an amazing success. Three more classes are scheduled this a spring.

LTE watch constantly says Disconnected when away from phone

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 06:33 AM PST

Anytime I'm out of range of my phone my watch constantly says Disconnected. I have to either turn wifi off or toggle airplane mode to get it to connect to LTE.

    Is this normal?

Heart rate spike but didn't feel it?

Heart rate spike but didn't feel it?

I get this occasionally (most them while doing nothing), though this one was for an extended period and while sleeping. I feel like it's a false reading. I'm almost 50, get occasional PACs and PVCs, which became more frequent a few months ago. I had a 48 Holter, plus an event monitor for 30 days that ended in January--the only conclusion was the PVCs and PACs.

Could this be false? How would the Watch produce a false reading? I have the Series 5 cellular.

    Thanks.

    Step Tracking

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 04:15 AM PST

I think I know my answer. But is there a way to have step count on my main screen? I have the activity ring. But something so trivial as step count seems to evade Apple Watches for 5 years now. 🤦🏼‍♂️

Apple Watch and Bluetooth HRM strap

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 12:42 AM PST

Does any one else have consistent problems connecting Bluetooth HRM straps to their Apple Watch? Pairing usually goes well - but when I am preparing to go for a run I never seem to be able to connect. I've experienced the problem with my old S3 LTE, S4 LTE and my new S5 SS and both a Tickr X and a Garmin HRM-Dual. I've tried basically all combinations of pairing. And now I'm really considering going back to Garmin. :-(

Activity sharing showing on watch but not phone app.

    Posted: 29 Feb 2020 12:12 AM PST

Just set up another family Apple Watch. Started sharing activity which is working fine on the watches, we both got invites and accepted. The new watch user can see me in his activity phone app but I cannot see him. I even tried to invite him through the phone app but nothing happens.

Anyone any ideas how to get the new persons activity showing on my phone as well as the watch?

Fall Detection on Series 5 Issues

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 10:42 PM PST

    Hey y'all,

I've noticed (through a LOT of falling) that the fall detection on my Series 5 watch isn't really working. If I happen to hit the watch against the side of a desk on accident or if I hit my steering wheel, fall detection will go off and I have to tell it I haven't fallen.

The real issue is that recently I've taken up learning to ride a OneWheel (A new kind of electric board) and I've been crashing, often hitting my arms/wrists/hands/the rest of my body on the ground very hard. But the fall detection hasn't triggered for me after a single crash, despite numerous skinned knees and elbows.

I've checked that fall detection is enabled, I'm on the latest version of WatchOS and iOS, and I can't seem to think of any reason I'm not getting the "Did you fall?" prompt when I actually have fallen.

Is the February challenge over after today or does it go thru tomorrow also? I need like 1800 more calories to get it and really don’t want to do another hour workout today if I don’t have too. It’s showing like I need to get it all done today though even though it’s a leap year.

Not sure what to call the "cosmic" effect on Watch face when it pairs, but it periodically shows up

    Posted: 28 Feb 2020 08:56 PM PST

It's the... you know... the visual of a circular, spinning, kind of white-bluish outer space thingie. Sorry, I just don't know what to call it. It happened the first time I paired the watch last year. Now it appears from time to time. Wondering why.

    Watch Series 3, WatchOS 4.0.1.
