| AppleTV 4K randomly starts AirPlaying to another speaker Posted: 08 Feb 2020 01:16 PM PST Losing my mind! It seems like 75% of the time I turn start watching something for the first time that day, my ATV starts sending audio via AirPlay to my receiver, which switches to the Airplay input, away from the Apple TV video input. I never change the output to be anything other than over plain HDMI. Any ideas why this would randomly start? Reboot hasn't helped, I've done the latest update and will see what that does. | What is the point of the apple TV subscription? Posted: 08 Feb 2020 12:51 PM PST Hi all, Got a free 12 month subscription to crapple TV. What does the £4.99 monthly fee actually give me? From what I can tell all it provides is: Access to a selection of chargeable movies and TV shows. Carpool karaoke. Have apple really put a paywall in front of multiple paywalls or is this something other than a shameless cash grab? I have a smart tv, the app is downloaded and the "free trial" doesnt appear to be free... I mean I thought amazon prime was shite...but this really takes the biscuit. Anyone want to explain for me why this would be worth £4.99 per month? EDIT I now am aware of apple PLUS TV. My point now is less belligerent, but still valid.
