    ios 13.3 - Not always receiving text notifications from non iMessage users.

    I've spend some time trying to figure this one out. iPhone xs max on Verizon. I'm not getting notifications from non imessage texts all the time. Sometimes I do, most of the times I don't. There isn't a rhyme or reason.

    Anyone else having this issue?

    How to change country without cancelling apple TV+ subscription?

    Hello iOS'ers,

    I would like to change my app store country to install a specific iOS application, and recently i purchased iPhone11 & due to which i was eligible for apple TV subscription for a year.

    But since i subscribed for apple tv, looks like i can't modify the location anymore from apple store, it states that i have to first unsubscribe if i have to change the location.

    If i unsubscribe, i will lose the free yearly subscription.

    Is there a way to change the app store country without losing the apple tv subscription?

    There is a cabin in the original picture whose windows are lit and perfectly proportional to a lightning port (ok... 4 pins vs 6 but still) When framed just so, it looks just like you would imagine power flowing into the phone.

    I have an old iPad running 9.3.5, the last update it can take. However, iOS keeps asking me to update to 9.3.6. How do I get it to permanently stop asking?

    Update: it finally updated. No joke there were a couple of dozen attempts at this when the update came out so I figured it would never work. But alas, one of you tricky bastards took pity on me and went into some dark corner of Apple's server and freed me from my interminable notification bondage. (I know that's not how these things really work...or is it?) Anyway, all better now. Please return to your far more fascinating lives already in progress.

    Apps for running a small business

    My brother started a gutter installation business a few months ago and mentioned he would like an iPad to take mobile payments. I bought him the cellular 10.2 iPad and signed him up with Square for taking payments on the go. What are some other apps that could prove handy for this type of business? He isn't the most technologically savvy person so I am trying to have the iPad set up for him as well as possible before I take it to him.

    Things he mentioned he would like to do are: create a slideshow of previous installations to show customers (was going to use keynote for this), keep track of income and expenses for tax purposes, customer database, manage cash receipts, create invoices that he could save and send to clients.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated. Would like to spend the least amount possible since it's a new business but will invest if justified.

    Music app

    I am coming from android and I've been searching for a music player where I can easily play my 4 hour audio radio show. I've looked and all of the ones Ive tried seem to not be able to fine the files on my device. I dragged them (on Catalina) on to the device and the stock music app seems to find it but I don't like it. I like for the player to save the spot I left off if I close the app which some don't. Thanks in advance!

    Is there an app that tracks sleep without needing a watch? Aka based off when you put your phone down at night followed by when you use it in the morning?

    Why do some pictures have a (+1) on them and essentially only show the other picture(s) taken on the same day if I zoomed all the way into 'all photo's'. Example: two pictures from a live performance taken on July 15 show together on top of each other while two zoo pictures on august 26 don't..

    How do I delete somebody from my contact list in WhatsApp?

    I recently added somebody that I didn't mean to on WhatsApp after doing a reverse image search of their profile photo and wanted to delete them off of my contact list. I've already blocked them from contacting me on both my WhatsApp and my iPhone but whenever I open my WhatsApp contact list I still see the same account each time. I'm aware that they can no longer contact me but I'd love to delete them off of the contact page because it's more of an eyesore than anything else. Thanks for any help.

    Side Note: I'm also wondering why some people aren't able to find me on WhatsApp. I have this group chat run by family across the pond and my Mom tried to get me in but I don't think they were able to find me because she only put my number in there and left the "+1" out. The admin of the chat though said that they couldn't find me just by using my phone number. Probably because I'm missing the "+1," but is there an option in WhatsApp that may be on that has me hidden for some reason that I'm just not seeing?

    Swipe problem when two languages installed

    I'm running iOS 13.3.1 on an iPhone SE. I use the Apple keyboard and have two languages installed (English and German). I only type in one language at a time, using the swipe feature: I do not try to swipe German words in an otherwise English sentence (or vice versa).

    The problem is that, while there is an option to switch between languages (the globe button), when I enter text by swiping (as I almost always do), both English and German words are detected, regardless of which language mode the keyboard is in.

    This is obviously very inconvenient, as the same or similar swiping gestures may produce output in either language. In other words, I must check that each word has been entered in the correct language, and I often need to re-enter several.

    There is no obvious way to restrict swipe detections to the language set with the globe button. Any decision by Apple to force simultaneous multilingual swiping when the swipe feature is enabled seems incomprehensible.

    Am I just missing something?

    Doda the family organizer see all app downloads of other adults?

    Does anyone know if a family organizer can see all app downloads of other adults? As in: does he or she get an email notification summarizing the apps that were bought, in particular even the free ones? I know they are seen in "my purchases" but I specifically want to know about the email notification.

    Could any family organizer help me out? Thanks

    Share menu buggy

    Hi.

    iPhone X, Last Firmware (the one before the newly released). About half of the times I click the share menu when in the fotos app, either nothing happens or the lower half of the screen stays black. Force closing the fotos app does not solve the problem. Trying again and again, often quite a bit later, it miraculously works again. This drives me mad.

    I really hope this problem is fixed in the newest update which I will install tonight. But I'm not optimistic, because I've had this problem since 13.3.

    Anyone else? Any hints what I could try? Maybe a non-Apple app f***cks with the share menu..?

    Is it just me or is this a known issue in iOS 13? So any text I get, whether I tap on it as it comes or tap on it from the Notification Center, it doesn't take me directly to that thread. It takes me to the list of my messages. I don't think this was always the behavior prior to iOS 13.

    Possible bug with powering off phone

    I've tried this on two different iPhone 8 Plus, both running iOS 13 and wonder if I've found a bug.

    Press and hold the power button on the main home screen.

    Wait until the "slide to power off" button shows.

    Press Cancel

    Previously, you would go right back to the main screen. Now, the phone is locked and the finger print button won't work. You have to put your password in.

    Can anyone reproduce this too?
