| iPhone XS: Possible Night Mode in a future update? Posted: 08 Jan 2020 09:54 AM PST Hi there. I recently upgraded to an iPhone XS from an old iPhone SE and noticed it doesn't have a decent night mode. I realize the 11 and 11 Pro have this but I haven't heard anything about Apple porting it to its slightly older lineup (XS minimum). Do any of you know the reason why they can't and/or won't port Night Mode to the XS? The hardware seems more than capable. As a side note, Google ported their Night Sight mode to both the Pixel 1 and 2 even though they're running on older hardware. I'd love to see Apple back its claims of their A-series chips and cameras by showing us that, yes, they're super powerful and as a result can gain a new feature or two once in awhile. :) [link] [comments]  |
