    Looking for Game Recommendations

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 08:15 AM PST

I am looking for games that I can stop playing/lock screen at any time and go back in when I have a chance to play. I have young twins at home so I can't really dig into a game for much time. I also sometimes have 2-5 minutes between meetings at work with nothing to do and would love to be able to take a turn or play a game in those moments. I'm open to any type of game as long as it is fun. I play all over the spectrum when it comes to Console/PC games.

Any mmo / RPG / roguelike with challenging gameplay and good end game content

    Posted: 03 Jan 2020 09:24 AM PST

Bare with me, I know these questions get asked lots, but that just means the answer isn't obvious! I have dug through the sub and have yet to find something i can stick with..

I currently play ragnarok mobile, but after a while the end game feels like a stop watch simulator waiting for world bosses to respawn or a week to go by to do weeklies over again.

I find most mobile games lack any challenge, and I am hoping for something you can play with long term progression, where player skill has value.

I lean towards action combat rather than turn based, and prefer solo character vs teams. I enjoy gearing the character up and finding or grinding for rare loot. I also enjoy pvp but not required. Auto play is a turn-off, but i am open to it if there is quality manual play.

In 2020 I am looking forward to AnimA ARPG, POE, Diablo, Albion, Dragon nest world, but anything out now or is it a "wait for xx game later in 2020.."

    I have tried:

    aq3d (no real depth)

Epic 7 and various gachas including AFK Arena and dragalia lost (im not a fan of team building, though im not opposed to gear gacha)

    ullalla (too idle for me)

archero (still playing, but only fun in short bursts)

Black Desert (seems like a battery destroying auto without challenge)

    autochess (not my type)

Questland and Knighthood (both good but turn based)

Eternium (cant get into it for some reason)

Ragnarok mobile (still playing but is losing my interest)

Mobile League BB/Vainglory/arena of valor (still play but never been a moba die hard)

    Offline puzzle games?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 05:15 PM PST

I am going on a long flight soon. My dad and I on our last flight in 2015 played Think for the whole flight. Most games now need to be online for ad purposes. Anyone have any recommendations?

    App for reference.

Any games that play like the OG soccer physics?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 12:16 PM PST

Soccer physics was easily one of my favorite and most played iOS games before it became unplayable in the updates. If there is any game similar to how that one played I would love to hear! There are so many terrible clones so any good ones would be great to know about

Looking for an old game on iPad

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 11:41 AM PST

In the game you were able to move around the area and monsters would spawn in waves and attack them and wait for the next wave to spawn. your character usually wears armour and equip sword that you can buy and upgrade from the game shop also involved micro transactions... I played the game around 2011

can u help me find this game?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 01:48 PM PST

I remember there was arena, and you had champions that you could lvl up, and u could fight in the arena to gain keys which u use to open cases or gain other rewards, it was turn based RPG i believe, and u could swap out ur champions if one dies, there was also winning streaks and rewards for it. I played it like last year or the year before, can anyone help? btw apart from the arena, there was campaign as well

    Vertical-Oriented Meaty Games?

    Posted: 02 Jan 2020 12:09 PM PST

I've been getting into iOS gaming now that life has gotten busy and I'm not able to really move my consoles with me. I have a couple titles I'm working on (Siralim, RAID) but I'd really enjoy games with depth (I don't mind sinking money into well-designed titles) that are vertically aligned.

    Does anybody have any suggestions?
