Am I the only one who can’t get podcasts to download to a series 3? Posted: 31 Jan 2020 06:34 AM PST I've tried the native podcast app and overcast. With overcast it will pretend like it's downloading but never gets very far. The native podcast app will not download anything even if I leave it on the charger all day. I even cleared out my "listen now" queue to help it. I tried the trick where you turn Bluetooth off to force the watch to use the faster wifi. I really am frustrated with how clunky and broken podcasts seem to be on the Apple Watch. Why isn't there a way to select an episode and use the up arrow to "send to Apple Watch"? Anyone who has had similar frustrating experience, have you resolved it? [link] [comments]
How accurate is the 'calories burned' tracker? Posted: 31 Jan 2020 07:11 AM PST Does anybody know if this is something to actually trust, or to just get a general basis with a ~20% margin of error? On Wednesday I hit a leg/shoulder/abs workout that lasted about 1 hour and 45 minutes and my apple watch said I burned 1,009 calories... That just seems absolutely insane, even considering I was sweating my ass off and felt like I was seconds away from dying the entire time. Anybody have any idea on the accuracy of these things? Posted: 31 Jan 2020 07:29 AM PST I got the AW mostly as a fitness tracker, but I ordered the Milanese loop for daytime wear for something a little nicer. Do people workout in that loop? Or do you change the bands every time you workout? Thanks! [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Jan 2020 07:29 AM PST Hello everybody Right now I am considering buying an Apple Watch series 2. I have been reading some things about this app called Apollo, and I was wondering exactly how it works and if it still does. Are there any other ways to listen to Spotify offline? Thank you very much [link] [comments]
Can you set a target heart rate during exercise? Posted: 31 Jan 2020 07:22 AM PST Is there a way to have your watch alert you when your heart rate rises above a certain threshold while exercising? I'm doing HIIT on an elliptical, but I have a problem staying in the fat burning zone in between high intervals, so I keep having to look at my watch to make sure I'm not going over 130bpm. The only thing I've been able to find is for it to alert you when your heart rate rises while you are inactive. But of course that's for medical emergencies and not an exercise goal. Posted: 31 Jan 2020 07:07 AM PST Ok, so I'm in a challenge/competition with a friend and our daily overall percentages are different. Her overall daily percentages are higher, but I have more points. Can someone explain how this works? [link] [comments]
2 questions regarding my watch functions that I can’t find on google Posted: 31 Jan 2020 06:04 AM PST 1: is there a way to reverse the wheel orientation? I wear on right wrist with crown on left, and I want to make it such that I keep this and when scrolling the top of the crown down, the screen moves up (like a mouse wheel). 2: is there a way to change the wake up orientation of the watch? My watch wakes up when my wrist is slightly off horizontal but I want it to wake up when it's at horizontal due to how I move when I go about my daily tasks (carrying stuff mostly). Posted: 30 Jan 2020 11:07 PM PST First deep scratch while walking past the kitchen island. It is a weird feeling now the watch is not blemish free. What caused your first scratch on your watch? [link] [comments]
Camera app AppleWatch disappeared Posted: 31 Jan 2020 04:45 AM PST Is this happening to you? Since the last Apple Watch update earlier this week, my Apple Camera app on Apple Watch has disappeared. [link] [comments]
Posted: 31 Jan 2020 02:40 AM PST anybody else got this problem where they try playing a song from their phone library though the apple watch and it plays something else instead? it's getting really annoying now and i don't know how to fix it. [link] [comments]
Fantastical 3 and Siri Watch Face Posted: 30 Jan 2020 08:42 PM PST While I am enjoying the new Fantastical update, I am not a fan of the app no longer working on the Siri watch face. I use to get a card when an event or reminder was scheduled and now nothing. Another reason why my favorite face frustrates me! [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jan 2020 05:43 PM PST My watch is a Series 1, I've skipped on most of the upgrades because I wasn't sure if it was justified. Now I'm wondering— since I upgraded my phone — if it's time for me to also upgrade my watch. I used to work out and I'm thinking about getting back into the swing of things (NYR). What did I miss r/AppleWatch and is it worth me going all the way up to the Series 5 or should I do a small upgrade? [link] [comments]

Any reminder app that allows me to set the notification time from my watch? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 09:02 PM PST For the default remiders app I can only set the date from the watch, and pretty much every other apps that ive tried seem the same🤔 [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jan 2020 08:05 PM PST Hi yall. Ive recently started using my apple watch (series 5 44mm no cellular) for working out and ive noticed that when i try and pick a custom time from the recents of the timer, its incredibly buggy in registering it. Ive tested it and my finger can be completely on a certain time, but it highlights the one above it. Does anybody else have this issue? Is there a fix? [link] [comments]
Song name for Series 5 YouTube ad? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 11:47 PM PST I've had the song stuck in my head but can't find it anywhere. It's sort of a funk song with the lyrics, "I just wanna do my best". Any help? [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jan 2020 07:56 PM PST I recently just got a series 3 Apple Watch and I notice that the crown almost moves like it's too loose. I compared my crown with his crown and his was much much tighter and controlled than my crown. Is it just sometimes you get a looser crown and sometimes tighter or is this a problem. Posted: 30 Jan 2020 05:01 PM PST I'm amazed with the battery life on my s4 apple watch. Just finished the day with 83% battery life left without any charging during the course of they day. Using a basic black watch face. I don't say this too much but hood job, Apple. [link] [comments]
Not getting recommendations to up move goal S3 6.1.2 Posted: 30 Jan 2020 10:59 PM PST I've been achieving my move goal consistently for nearly a month. At what point will it suggest a new move goal? I know I can change it manually Thanks in advance for any insight [link] [comments]
[SUPPORT] My series 3 battery life just fell off a cliff is that normal degradation behaviour? Posted: 30 Jan 2020 06:50 PM PST It's my first Apple watch so I'm not sure how battery degradation usually affects these devices. For those that have experienced this before, is the battery life going from suitable for normal daily wear to all of a sudden only lasting half a day expected? I would have thought it would have been a slower progression to a shorter battery output, but I don't really know. I've done all the troubleshooting things I could find online to ensure it's not software related, and there were also no changes around the time that the battery life crashed. [link] [comments]
Apple Watch updating while wearing it Posted: 30 Jan 2020 06:28 PM PST I have a series 3 watch and previously it would alert me there is an update and that it would update later that night when charging. But a couple times recently it has just started updating while I am wearing it. Is there a way to fix that ? [link] [comments] |
