    LPT: Color Filters and Reduce White Point

    If you feel the brightness isn't dim enough when using your phone in the dark, you can set up a Control Center Accessibility shortcut to reduce White Point.

    Do you have a New Years resolution to reduce your time on social media like Instagram? Studies have shown that colors are stimulants, and there are a lot of colorful posts on IG. So therefore reducing the stimulation that social media provides may help. Do so by creating another Control Center Accessibility shortcut Color Filter (use gray filter). Give it a try, it actually makes IG a little less interesting. Or anything you look at on your phone that conveys and uses color as a means to attract and grab your attention.

    iPhone 11 family's front camera unable to focus up close? (Not that close)

    I thought it was my iPhone only but I went to check in Apple store and all of the demo units acted the same too.

    But why? Other phones are able to focus up close on front camera.

    Pinch to exit fullscreen Youtube doesn’t work anymore :(

    I just upgraded from my iPhone 6s to an iPhone 11, and I always keep rotation locked so the pinch to exit fullscreen was super useful and convenient. But now on my iPhone 11 pinching only works to make the video zoom in and out so is there any way to turn this off and make it how it was on my old phone?

    Update after quick start ios is taking too long

    Hi, so i just got an iphone 11. I did the usual backup/sync option with my iphone xr and the setup prompts me update to ios 13.3.

    I initially wanted to skip updating but there was no option for me to do so.

    Finished download the updates in less than 10 minutes and it's still on installing progress since the last hour.

    Is this normal or could I just restart the phone again?

    Reposting here as I couldn't figure out how to cross post, but is there a way to sync my iOS Reminders to my Google Calendar Reminders?

    I use both Google and Apple calendars. Both calendars' "events" sync between my devices, but my iOS's reminders don't sync to my Google Calendar... I have a billion of them so I'd rather not migrate them manually...

    Is there a way to accomplish this? I've searched the Apple forums but could only information relevant to the app for iOS, "reminders", not the 'reminders' within the google calendar. Will be cross-posting to an iOS community as well just in case.

    Files don't show up in recently deleted (in Files app)

    When I use Files app to delete files (say videos from Infuse or files in FileExplorer), they don't show up in Recently deleted section until I reboot iPhone. The files still take up space (even dozens of GB) and prevent me to copy new content to iPhone X (I actually tested this). Some other times the Recently deleted section of Files show files that no longer exist anywhere and cannot be deleted. Only way to fix that was to uninstall the Files app, reboot and install it again.

    I'm on latest stable iOS (13.3). The Files app seems extremely buggy. Is it just me or is this a bug?

    Are betas stable than releases?

    Yeah, obviously betas should not be stable but I remember I used beta 12 on iphone 7 and it was better than releases then, in battery life at least. And bow if somebody uses beta for 13 what would you say

    Good alarm app that doesn't drain the battery?

    Just did the switch after 10 years of Android phone to a iphone 11 pro and I'm looking for a good alarm app.

    I'm looking for one with a gradual volume option and I'd like to get some kind of captchas to disable the alarm. I used to use Sleep As Android and loved it!

    I tried using Alarmy but noticed a 25% battery drain overnight. Is there any options out there that doesn't drain the battery as much? Never had that problem on android.
