    I'm very disappointed that mine is just gps :( I wanted the wireless one to get away from my phone

    (Edit) thank you for all of the responses! I have a better perspective now and realize I'm perfectly fine with the gps model! I'm very grateful to be part of this new leap in technology. The Apple Watch is amazing!

    Need help identifying a Watch

    So, essentially, I saw someone listing a Series 3 (38mm) on eBay, but this one stuck out. It's got a mutilated diagnostics port and is missing the band mechanism buttons entirely, and even has holes in the aluminum body.

    I was wondering if anyone know if this was a demo unit of some sort? The watch was ready to pair and had no activation lock according to the seller, which I didn't know was possible with demo units. I'm just curious in this watch's story, so if you have any ideas, let me know!

    Activity/exercise question

    What is the difference between just walking or exercising and telling your watch that you are going to be performing the specific activity or exercise? Does it get recorded differently somehow?
    For example if I just walk around in my normal day or I go for a short walk but I dont set it on the watch, it will still record my steps and other information about what I am doing. So is anything different if I set my watch to "indoor walk" or some other specific exercise activity?

    Just got the apple watch 5 on christmas and i cant decide if i use the watch naked or with screen protector. What is your experience? Can the screen protector damage the original oleophobic coating of the watch? Thank you.

    Screen protector question.

    I had my screen protector for my AW5 since October when the watch came out and started to have bubbles and it looks ridiculous. I can have it redone for 5.00 and put another screen protector on it but I have AppleCare with this watch anyways. Do you guys think I should get it redone anyways? Or should I just rely on my AppleCare takes care of any damage on my screen later? Thanks!

    Problems with battery life, any fixes/ideas?

    I have the Apple Watch 1 model and it's started to drain battery very quickly when I use it for a run in the morning. I use the workout app (outdoor run option) and use wireless earbuds which I listen to music through, stored on the watch through the music app. The run is only a 20 minute 5k run but the watch has started to shut off mid run saying there is no battery, then it'd boot back up with 50% or so remaining.

    I have tried setting the workout mode to power saving but the same thing still happens. If I do not use the watch during my run it will last all day with no issues and have around 30% before I go to sleep. Does anyone know of any fixes or have any idea why this is happening? Thanks.

    Best Arm Band for Boxing?

    I got an AW S3 for Christmas and I already love it so much!! I go to Title Boxing for exercise, and I want to keep my watch on to get full use out of my watch, but I'm concerned about it being under my gloves. Does anyone know of a good arm band that I can purchase so it won't need to stay under my gloves? If not, is there anything else I should purchase to keep it safe like a bumper or a different band?

    I was gifted the gps version which is probably for the best right now being that there is apparently no way to connect your Apple Watch directly to your sensor. I it's incredible that I can view my blood sugars directly on my custom watch face with pictures of my cat!!! Ideally in the future Apple Watch will allow you to connect directly to your Apple Watch. But with that in mind it make me feel a lot less bad about not having the cellar haha. It's amazing how much technology is helping people with diseases and disabilities and I am very hopeful for the future! I have anxiety too so I like the idea of less clutter. Leaving the house with just an insulin pen and a watch would be insanely awesome and I'm hoping that will be available to us diabetics pretty soon 😊

    I'm about to get my series 5 in the mail and got it because I lift weights and run and would like to track my exercises.

    Do you guys have recommendations as far as running apps that track where you ran, and weight lifting apps?

    EDIT: I don't mind having to pay a one time payment if the app is worth it.

    [Support] Series 5 - Haptics and Sound Not Working

    Good Morning,

    I currently have an Apple Watch Series 5, 44mm GPS that I purchased on Black Friday. I pretty quickly muted sounds on the watch. However, I recently realized that I was not receiving any haptic feedback at all and regardless of what settings I try, I cannot seem to get the sound to work at all either. I am currently on watchOS 6.1.1 (17S449) and I am on iOS 13.3 (17C54).

    I have already attempted unpairing and re-pairing my device. When re-pairing the Apple Watch I even set it up as a new device and still seemed unable to get Haptics or Sound to work. Am I doing something wrong or is this something I need to take the watch in for. I have tried searching the Internet and could not find anything helpful honestly. I even chatted Apple Support last night and they didn't really walk me through or troubleshoot anything.

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    So I've connected my data plan to my watch so I can turn on data from it and send and receive calls and texts, but I'm still confused about the limitations of the watch and where I can use it without my phone, like can I leave my phone at home and just use my watch?

    The sports loop and water parks

    Hey guys, so I literally just got the Apple Watch for Christmas but I have a birthday at a water park tomorrow. So I've done a lot of research on whether the watch itself could handle it (and heck yea it can!) but I'm not sure if the chlorine will ruin the colour on the sports loop. Anyone able to help out?
