    It was my dream almost 20 years ago to play this game anywhere. I mirror from the IPad Mini 5 to the AppleTV without lag, and the connectivity with the DualShock is great. There is a great opportunity in the AppleTV for video games.

    Tap to FF not working on 4K with Siri remote

    Been having a problem lately on all my Apple TV 4Ks where tapping to fast-forward 10 seconds doesn't seem to work on the Siri remote. Tap to rewind still seems to work. I know there are alternative remotes but I was mostly fine with this remote until this issue started happening. I was wondering if there was a fix or I'm just SOL with this feature until they fix it in a future update.

    Apple TV 4K on tvOS 13.3 turns off even though I am using AirPlay?

    It seems tvOS 13 has a bug that it turns the Apple TV off even though you are using it via AirPlay.

    Thoughts After One Week

    Since I cut the cord months ago I've used 2 Roku Stick+ and a Roku Ultra with the Ultra on my LG 4K and a Onkyo receiver. Through that time I've experienced daily buffering issues that I just lived with. When problems developed with a Stick, I moved the Ultra to my bedroom and purchased a ATV 4k for the LG. Other than getting used to the remote, it seems like a step up in every way. I have yet to experience any buffering at all, the main menu looks more polished than Roku's, the entire interface is faster, and both the wife and I think the picture is better. LOL, maybe it's the $180 price tag that makes me see a better picture but I have no regrets at all. Hell, I now own something Apple, I may just walk into the Apple store next time I'm in the mall and hang out doing nothing with all the other happy prople I see doing nothing there. 😁 Oh, I am getting better with the remote plus a hard case and some spray Plasti Dip helped.

    Question: Dolby Vision

    Any Apple 4K TV owner having problems with 4K Dolby Vision @60 hz with dark/night scenes becoming almost impossible to see?

    Watched on iTunes "Once Upon a Time in Hollywood" after new update, and all night scenes were out of sync.

    Contrast was off - couldn't see anything just a dark screen.

    Switched to 4K HDR 60 Hz and it was perfect.

    Cover Art: Apple TV4K vs Desktop Apple TV App

    So with the update to the new apple TV app that came on the last MacOS update i went through all of my personal movies, and change them all from portait to landscape(16x9, shout out to Ben Dodson for making this easier) to match the new Apple TV form factor on the desktop. Then I got the apple tv 4k for Christmas only to find that the aspect ratio in the "computers" app is still portrait and all my recently change 16x9 movie covers now just string across the middle with the blur background. Am I missing something? Is there a way to change this on the apple TV or do they really not match up and I'm always going to have one(the TV or the Desktop) with the blur background?

    ATV 4th Gen keeps powering off

    Hey guys, I have a 4th gen which keeps powering off on its own. Sometimes I get 2 hours of view time and sometimes it just switches off in 10 minutes. It doesn't restart or shut down, but just powers off - like it would if someone pulled out the power cord! I have already updated it to the latest tvOS and also reset it to factory settings - but problem persists. I did try to change the original power supply cord with a new one; that did not solve the random shutdowns but seemed to keep the ATV on for longer. My ATV is out of warranty. Any thoughts on diagnosis or what I could do? Thanks in advance

    Apple TV Voice Over won't go away and I want to break the TV

    Voiceover somehow turned on. For some reason I can't scroll left and right only up and down, and tapping the menu button three times doesn't do anything but bring me in and out of the moving wallpaper menu very fast. I'd change the settings but I literally can't even get to the settings app because for some asinine reason Voiceover makes it unable to scroll properly. What do I do? Edit: I'm using a Savant remote

    Apple TV stopping videos (via home sharing) at random...

    So my Apple TV (3rd Gen) has started stopping movies/TV shows I stream from my iMac via home sharing. Both purchases iTunes content and personal videos. One video will stop 10 sec in, while another may stop 35 min in... it seems to be at random. I have not encountered this problem when watching YouTube, Netflix, or Amazon Video through my Apple TV. Lastly, both my Apple TV and iMac are connected via ethernet to my router, so there should not be any wifi interference issues. Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences on this?

    Trouble pairing Bluetooth speakers

    I have a pair of Sengled Pulse/JBL speakers that won't pair with my ATV4K. No matter what I only get an error when I try to set up and pair the speaker.

    The speakers pair fine with my iPhone 11 and 2018 MacBook (yes, the speakers were unpaired before trying the Apple TV). I've tried this on beta and official releases of tvOS, as well as resetting and starting fresh but no luck.

    It seems like any old Bluetooth speakers or headphones can work... unless there's an MFi or AirPlay requirement, but Apple's support makes it seem as though that's only for game controllers.

    My AirPods show up fine, and since we can use the remote without issue I'm assuming Bluetooth is working fine. Any suggestions?

    Can you change or "manipulate" which season is the TV show cover art?

    Hey guys, so I bought the first season of Its Always Sunny for $5 in the sale and I know this is stupid but I hate the cover art for the first season. I went and bought the second season hoping the art would change but it didn't. Wondering how it selects.

    So basically, some of those shows show the art of their first season, some show later seasons. Community, Veronica Mars, and Rick and Morty are all based on their first season art despite me owning every season, Parks and Rec, The Good Place and The IT Crowd all have art based on later seasons. Is there any rhyme or reason to how it selects which is the cover art?

    Also curious to know from other people who own Its Always Sunny if this is case for them too or if I should buy more seasons and hope it goes away? (Currently only have the first two)

    After the three shows that I bought Apple TV+ for have ended, I'm wondering is there any point in carrying on my subscription. The only other show I'm watching is servant and idk but £5 a month seems excessive for just one show. Is there any news on new shows coming out soon?

    Just got an Apple TV 4K for Christmas and am confused about user switching... please help.

    So my wife got me an Apple TV 4K for Christmas and I got it setup and it's pretty awesome. Today we added her as a user and added her iCloud account. Why is it that when we switch profiles back and forth the iCloud account doesn't also switch??

    The photo library also stays connected to the last iCloud sign in and doesn't change when switching users. Is there anyway to have the iCloud account/photo library switch when switching users?

    Side note: The main reason I asked for an Apple TV for Christmas is to use it as a home hub for HomeKit, only after a day I'm getting a no response message and looked it up and seems like Apple is ignoring this problem and there is no fix. Kind of disappointed in the whole Apple TV experience as I am an Apple fan because their products normally "just work".

    Apple TV just for MacBook, iPhone music on TV Speakers

    Hi, I'd like to just use airplay to send music to my TV's speakers from an iPhone, iPad or MacBook. I'm not interested in subscribing to Apple's streaming services. Is this possible and what Apple TV should I get for this? Hoping to buy a used one rather than the latest and greatest. Thanks.

    What's with Apple TV 4K audio quality (vs Shield 2019)?

    My setup is this:

    - Streaming devices: Nvidia Shield 2019, ATV 4K

    - Soundbars: Nakamichi 9.2, Samsung Q90R

    - Using proper HDMI cables (Belkin Ultra HD)

    - Apps I mostly use: Netflix, Prime, Hulu, Vudu

    With the two streaming devices, as tested on my two soundbars - there seems to be a noticeable difference in sound quality.

    1. On Vudu, movie - Man of Steel (Atmos)
    2. On Netflix, show - Haunting of Hill House (Atmos)
    3. On Prime, movie - Night Hunter (Dolby D +)

    These exact same shows/movies - sound noticeably better on both my soundbars on Shield and not ATV 4K. The bass is better, the effects are more pronounced, and most folks who listen to both admit this to be the case.

    Theoretically, whether the audio is Dolby (as in Shield) or PCM-MC (as in ATV) - should they not be sounding somewhat the same? Even Atmos - where ATV is not doing any conversion/decoding, sounds way better on the Shield.

    Any idea why this is the case? Thanks

    Having an issue where when I select Chroma 4:2:2 my screen icons go all pink/purple. Tried swapping over HDMI cables and HDMI ports in tv with same issue. Have a newer SUHD Samsung that supports the format. Any idea what could cause it? Turning Chroma back to 4:2:0 fixes it instantly.

    Currently, all of my devices are connected to my receiver (which is connected to the TV through ARC) with the exception of my new Apple TV 4K which is connected directly to the TV.

    Is anyone else connecting directly to the TV or do most people connect it to their receiver with their other devices?
