Is there anything or there for ios that is similar? The main feature is being able to install apps in the secure folder and not have them visible outside of the folder. [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 26 Dec 2019 03:26 AM PST Hi, we are announcing my wife's pregnancy to friends abroad via facetime and whatsapp video, and we would like to capture their first reactions. I tried to capture it with audio, but it's not working 🤨😞 I am using the built-in screen recording function, but from the moment a whatsapp or facetime video call starts, the audio recording stops, so only the screen is recorded but no audio. | iPhone keeps autocorrecting “of” to “PF” Posted: 26 Dec 2019 07:32 AM PST Ever since iOS 13 came out my phone has been constantly autocorrecting "of" to "PF". I don't think I've even intentionally used the acronym "PF" since iOS 13 came out, except for this post. I assume I used it to shorten "Pink Floyd" some time ago but I haven't done that in a while. And obviously I use "of" way more often as it's one of the most common words in the English language. I've tried preventing the autocorrect every time it's prompted but that hasn't stopped it from suggesting "PF" all the time and replacing "of" with "PF". On ios 11, I could download a photo from 2005 and it would jump up to the top of the list. Now on ios 13, despite the photo having the metadata it doesn't do that. Help? When I look at the photo in the photos app, the top shows "Today 8am" but when I look at the metadata, it shows 2005. | Posted: 25 Dec 2019 07:54 PM PST As title says, I bought a latest gen iPod touch for my little brother and created his own iCloud account under my family sharing (as a child account). When setting it up, both iMessage and FaceTime say "activation failed." When I try to login in from the apps themselves, I get the verification failed message after clicking sign in, and when I try go to either apps' settings view, I can't even input the password. I get the error when I click return after entering his iCloud account user. I've already tried everything on Apple's support page regarding this issue (including the 24hr wait period). I've rebooted several times, signed him out and back in, verified that the WiFi connection is working. As I said before, I can't even "turn off" iMessage or FaceTime because all I get is the view with login, but I can click anything. Any help would be appreciated or a point to the correct sub reddit! However, I would love to still be able to see notifications in my room in case someone is trying to get a hold of me. Are there any good ways to do this?
