| Phone is stuck in recovery mode Posted: 06 Nov 2019 10:24 PM PST I am freaking out!! I was trying to update my dad's phone (iPhone 6s plus) on iTunes. This is the first time he has updated it since he purchased it. For some reason, I didn't think to back it up before I did it. Everything was going fine, but at the end, it said the update failed and he has to either try updating again or restore. He has no backup files. And he has really priceless pictures and videos on there. He has the funeral ceremony of the passing of his mother on there, my brother's graduation, etc. Stuff that I can't replace. I don't know what to do. I've tried the Tenorshare Reiboot (even paid for the full version) and it didn't work. I'm sitting in my room crying my eyes out. If I bring it to the Apple store tomorrow morning, would they be able to do anything for me? I just need the photos and videos recovered. [link] [comments]  |
| Posted: 06 Nov 2019 08:25 PM PST I suddenly get like 10 messages saying there was an error logging into my accounts. I logged in and everything. Put my password and it doesn't do ANYTHING. It just sends me back to the same screen and 30 minutes later I get the same 10 messages from all my accounts saying the same thing. I can't find help anywhere. [link] [comments]  |

I just purchased the phone recently, the seller ensured it is brand new and it looks like it no scratches or mark, wrapped in plastic, screen look bright. I tested everything it all seems to work except there is no true tone options in both Control Center and Settings App. Did some research, 2 main reasons I came across:

| What the heck is this weird font: ������������ Posted: 06 Nov 2019 06:55 PM PST I have no idea how my phone keeps letting me type this but it keeps autocorrecting the words 𝐀𝐭𝐭𝐚𝐜𝐤 and 𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐡 to these fonts and it's extremely annoying. I can't remember the password to the Notes and I can't access it with Face ID. I tried to reset the Notes password in the Settings - I reseted it successfully and changed the password. However the new password only applies to the NEW notes - the notes I created on new iPhone. I still can't access old new with old password. Can anybody help me? It's driving me crazy! | Issues from using a second Apple ID in the AppStore? Posted: 06 Nov 2019 01:07 AM PST Hello everyone! I've switched to an iPhone from Android a few months ago, and sadly, some of the apps that I was using back on Android were not available in in the AppStore in my region, so ever since, I've been using a second, American AppleID that I have in order to get those apps. I know that you can keep separate accounts for iCloud and for the AppStore/iTunes, since the option is there, but I don't keep it. I just signed out from my main account, signed in with it, downloaded the apps, and returned to my original account. The apps are there, everything works well, and the AppStore asked me for the password of my second account once - the first time when one of the apps I downloaded with it needed updating. But still, I can't get rid of the feeling that since this doesn't seem to be intended behavior, my iPhone will have issues at some point. Trying to do a similar thing but with Google accounts back on my old Android phone resulted in overheating and battery issues, and I eventually to reset it and use a single account for the store.
