My recently deleted photos and videos won’t appear of my recently deleted albums? How do I fix this. Posted: 05 Nov 2019 10:41 PM PST These are pictures that I've deleted this week and it's not like it's been over 30 days. I want to recover some of them but I don't know how? [link] [comments] |
Iphone 6s apple logo screen freeze Posted: 05 Nov 2019 10:21 PM PST So what initially happened was that when i went on the apps the UI wasn't appearing or working, i went on google and it was a blank white screen, i went on YouTube the homepage was able to appear but i couldn't swipe or touch anything else completely frozen. I restarted my phone and it restarted but froze at the apple logo screen. So i looked my problem online and it said to hard reset my phone where you need to press and hold the power button and home button but the home button was hard like when its dead so i was having trouble with that but i eventially got it to hard reset, and now it just keeps flashing the appple logo screen still completely frozen but now appears to shut off it does this in a loop. Its happened all day. [link] [comments] |
SIM card not working on new iPhone for seemingly no reason? Posted: 05 Nov 2019 07:41 PM PST I bought an iPhone 8 from Amazon. Iphone is fully unlocked and compatible with Verizon. But when I put my Verizon SIM card in the phone, the verizon signal comes up in the upper left corner for a few seconds, and then the phone says no service and doesn't allow me to send messages or call. I've used this SIM card with past iPhones and it works fine in all the others. I also called Verizon who said that the phone does recognize the card, so they can't see any reason why it's not working. They confirmed that the phone IS unlocked and IS reading the card, but it's a mystery to everyone why the phone says no service. I've tried all the standard troubleshooting; turning phone off and on, removing and re-inserting SIM card, resetting phone settings, resetting factory settings, resetting network settings, updating the IOS. And nothing works It's gonna be annoying to have to send the phone back, so I was wondering if anyone else ever had the same issue and has any more suggestions on what to try before I return the phone and try to get a new one. iPhone screen is sometimes un-responsive (10% of the time) [short video demo] Posted: 05 Nov 2019 06:55 PM PST I just switched from Android to the iPhone SE 32gb. The device works fine and there are no problems, but the screen is not catching some of my touches. Here is a short video demo: https://giphy.com/gifs/LMhKalrhzqqnSghSFB Strangely, the options button works, but the "new message" button works only after ~3 taps... This happens only in some apps with smaller buttons. I haven't found a strong pattern, but here is what I noticed. What works perfectly fine:
What doesn't work:
Again, as I mentioned before, there is no clear pattern, so I am not sure what is going on, but it is extremely annoying. Any suggestions? Any way to increase screen sensitivity? Other notes:

Posted: 05 Nov 2019 01:31 PM PST TL;DR: What is the best way (natively, or with third party tools/services) to retrieve photos on an iPhone 7 with a full disk that is stuck on a black screen with white apple logo? I'm trying to help a friend at least retrieve the photos taken since her last backup under the following facts (we've learned our lessons about what to do differently next time, but are hoping for help getting out of this particular jam): - iPhone 7, with very little available memory (mostly photos/video) was connected to a PC for a backup (last backup was about 5 weeks ago). - Early in the backup process, the iPhone hung up; the iPhone was unplugged from the laptop and put on a charger, with 31% battery at the time. - While on the charger, my friend tried to delete old pictures and videos to make more room on the phone, but none of these pictures/videos went to the deleted folder. - iPhone was hard rebooted. - After rebooting, iPhone gets stuck on a black screen with iPhone logo. If you repeat the hard rebooting, the iPhone stays off for a few seconds, turns on, and gets stuck with the black screen and white logo. Question 1: What next steps give us the best chance to retrieve the photos that were taken since the last backup without risking deleting/resetting the whole phone? Question 2: If we hard reboot while connected to a computer and try to "update" when prompted to "update" or "restore," what happens if an update is not successful? Will we be forced to restore? I ask because we would want to be able to try a third party tool/service before agreeing to restore the phone and lose pictures taken since the last backup. Question 3: What reputable third party tools are available to try to scrape the photos from the iPhone? We could use either a Mac or a PC. Thanks for your help and guidance! [link] [comments] |
iPhone 11 Pro Max camera crashes in Night Mode Posted: 05 Nov 2019 05:22 AM PST So I'm having an issue with my iPhone 11 Pro Max camera. When attempting to take a photo in low light (where Night Mode activates), the camera app crashes each every time the shutter button is pressed. No other mode on the camera has any problems; wide, telephoto, ultrawide, portrait, videos - everything else works great. It's ONLY night mode photos. I have scoured the internet and can't see to find anyone else experiencing the issue. We've tried soft rebooting, hard resetting, a DFU iOS 13.2 restore (prior to putting my iCloud backup back onto it) and finally Apple swapped my phone out with a new one - all unsuccessful and the issue persists. This of course suggests it's something software related that exists in my iCloud backup but I'm not really keen on setting my phone up as new and losing all that info just to correct this bug. iOS 13.2 last week did not resolve. Anyone have any advice? https://www.dropbox.com/s/4fconxjl2jjqdbq/RPReplay_Final1572476073.mp4?dl=0 https://www.dropbox.com/s/nu0sket4tpfppm9/RPReplay_Final1572476107.mp4?dl=0 [link] [comments] |
iPhone XR not showing up on My Computer with Windows 7 Posted: 05 Nov 2019 10:11 AM PST Just bought a new XR and I can't access the photos on my work computer. Running Windows 7 and iOS 13.2. Tried installing iTunes (didn't need it with my last iPhone for photo transfers) and I've tried uninstalling and updating drivers. The phone does ask me if I want to trust the computer every time I plug it up, I say yes, but it still won't appear. Not sure where to go from here. [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Nov 2019 09:38 AM PST https://youtu.be/xHmQdL34StE I'm not sure if I'm over analyzing this but the camera quality on my 11 isn't what I was expecting. Does this look normal? Thank you. Here's another vid: https://youtu.be/WyVcN2tTiFw [link] [comments] |
Posted: 05 Nov 2019 09:35 AM PST I received from a friend an iPhone 7 in good condition, charger and phone, but without the box. My question is, if I sell it, the missing box will decrease my phone value? besides the decreasing price because of the years passed [link] [comments] |
Looking to sell iPhone 7. How do I unlock it after phone service has already been cancelled? Posted: 05 Nov 2019 02:52 AM PST My dad recently upgraded to an iPhone 11 from a 7 and also switched phone service from AT&T to Spectrum. When I looked up how to unlock an iPhone, it said only your carrier can do that for you and that you should have it unlocked before cancelling your service with them. Well he's already cancelled his AT&T service on the iPhone 7 and did a factory reset on it. Can he send it in to them through the mail and have them unlock it for him even though he doesn't have service with them anymore? I'm guessing an unlocked phone will sell for a higher price so that's why I want to do it. Also I'm thinking about replacing the battery as it doesn't hold a very long charge compared to when it was new. Would it be worth more with a fresh battery or will potential buyers be turned off because I opened up the phone and replaced parts inside of it? [link] [comments] |
iPhone suddenly disconnects from WiFi Posted: 05 Nov 2019 05:25 AM PST My iPhone 8+ almost always suddenly disconnects from the WiFi at various times a day. It happens at least 5 times, especially when I'm surfing or watching videos. Connection and range isn't an issue, I'm beside the router all the time and I have a steady 10Mbps all the time. Anyone else experience this? Help would be appreciated. Edit: I'm currently running the latest version of iOS 13. [link] [comments] |
