    Apple Watch should have a feature where it pings you if you get too far far your iPhone.

    Nearly forgot my iPhone somewhere and I got lucky someone ran to give it too me before I left the building.

    Find my iPhone is great, but it would be even better if there was a feature where your Apple Watch could ping you after being 5 feet from your iPhone saying "Your iPhone is out of reach. Locate using Find My"

    Just my two cents. If you don't want this feature, there should be an on off switch.

    Lost my watch to the sea

    I've been surfing with it for over 6 months with no real problems (except the crown wouldn't click properly any more) today the waves were a bit too big and when I fell off one wave I felt my watch coming loose. I immediately caught hold of it and realised that while the pin was still in, the strap had come loose. I tried threading it back through the loop but in the midst of that a wave fell on my head and it yanked the watch out of my wrist completely. I spent half an hour looking for the watch along the shoreline but didn't find it. I came home and looked for it in the find my app but it hasn't updated it's location since 745 am (I lost it around 930 am). I clicked on mark as lost on the app but it hasn't sent me a notification since morning and the last seen time isn't updated yet. Not sure if I should be expecting anything to happen anymore.

    Sorry for the rant just wanted to put it out there. Anyone else lost their watch / had it taken by Mother Nature?

    What are the best leather bands you bought on Amazon? I'm looking for something simple or something that makes the Apple Watch Hermès straps. I'm looking for something in 44 mm that would sit flush with the watch it's self. There are some other bands I bought Amazon that are made for the 42 mm model and the connectors stick out slightly. That is an annoyance to me and would like something flush. If you have any good recommendations feel free to post the pictures or links. Thank you for your help.

    I've been switched from S3 38mm to S5 44mm. 11hr standby, 3,5hrs of usage and it's still %55. I'm really impressed with it.

    I really like the look of the Milanese loop but I'm not sure if it would be practical during exercise. I should probably get a sport band too right? What do you Apple Watch users like to wear?

    Does your apple watch's heart rate readings ever dip to super lows if your watch is loose? Also i have a first generation apple watch, should i just expect for its readings to not be so accurate anymore.

    I recently bought an apple tv and want to re-install the Remote app on my watch, but I can't find anyway to get it back. I can't locate the app in the watch's app store at all.

    Edit: I found it! It's really confusing to find though. The only way to find it is to search "Apple" on the watch's app store and scroll really far down until you see Remote. Searching for "Remote" does not bring it up.

    I'm officially done with Overcast...How do you automatically sync Apple Podcasts with Apple Watch?

    Title says it all. I'm officially done with Overcast, it just doesn't consistently sync podcasts to my (S4) Watch, even if I manually send them to it, it only works about 50% of the time on the first try.

    I want to use Apple Podcasts, will it automatically sync podcasts to my Apple Watch? I leave my iPhone at home most days and stream Bluetooth from my Watch to my car. Will this work offline/untethered from the phone?

    How does the warranty / Apple care work?

    There's a guy selling brand new series 5 watch he won from a competition, therefore there's no receipt. Claims box is sealed. Selling for about 30USD cheaper. Is it safe to purchase or do I need a receipt to redeem the warranty ?

    Ok ....so after the daylight saving time change, I can't get the time to change on my moms Apple Watch. It's a 4th gen 40 mm regular WiFi version. Tried restarting, updating nothing is working. It's connected to phone for the other stuff but just won't change time. The watch is so smart it's not showing the right time, lol. Please help!

    Apple Pay less reliable on Watch vs. iPhone?

    Since Apple Pay became available in my country, I've been using it a lot and most of the time it works just fine. By default I'll use the watch, unless pulling the phone out happens to be more convenient for some reason.

    But once in a while, say maybe every second week or so, I'll try to pay somewhere using the watch and the terminal will show a generic error message stating the transaction couldn't be performed. In those cases, even if I try with the watch again, the error will persist. But if I then take the phone and try that way, it will go through without a problem.

    This has so far only happened with two models of payment terminals, but it's an intermittent issue. I've paid at all the places that have them using the watch before and normally it works as advertised.

    I find that a bit weird because I'm not sure what the difference between using the phone and the watch would be, shouldn't it be exactly the same from the terminal's view? And has anyone else encountered this?

    (I guess if I were to use the phone by default, it might happen the other way around now and then, but up to now I've never had a problem when using the phone.)

    Access to Health Data on Apple Watch vs Versa 2

    I found (and was able to resurrect) my old iPhone 5 and now I'm considering trying an Apple Watch. I've had a fitbit ionic which I loved. It has died, and now I'm either going to get a Versa 2 or the Apple Watch.

    I've already written software to work with Fitbit's API. Fitbit has a very rich, open API. Knowing how Apple is a bit restrictive, I worry that the Healthkit API may not be as open as Fitbit's. Does anyone have experience with the healthkit API? I'm guessing there is no REST API, but it would require me to make something to run on the iPhone.

    Thinking of buying Apple Watch Series 3 or 4/5?

    From what i know Series 4/5 offers ECG, better optical heart-rate sensor, compass, fall detection, faster processor, better accelerometer, higher capacity, larger display, better connectivity, and always-on display (Series 5 only). I'm currently using FitBit Ionic but been planning to upgrade to Apple Watch for quite sometimes just swinging back and forth with decision and of course money.

    I'm currently looking at the Series 3 42mm version as I don't think the following feature on newer models is relevant for mine usage:

    • ECG as i would need to manually record for 30 sec
    • compass (i don't use compass even on my iPhone i "uninstall" the app)
    • fall detection (probably not using but who knows)
    • always-on display

    So is Series 3 or Series 4/5 more suitable for my needs coming from FitBit Ionic?
