    [Solution] Apple TV+ 1 year offer not showing on the TV app

    I've seen a couple of comments saying that the offer for the free year wasn't showing when they opened the TV app. The same thing happened to me but when I logged into tv.apple.com on my computer the offer was available. If you get asked for a credit card and you don't have one or you don't want to enter it you can go to the App Store and add another payment method and it will stop asking for one. I my case i had PayPal linked to my account but since there was a problem with my previous purchase it was still asking for a credit card so i had to verify my PayPal account, after that it stopped asking me for a credit card.

    Any new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV, or Mac capable of running the latest iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS purchased after September 10, 2019, from Apple or an Apple authorized reseller, is eligible.

    How do I activate my free 1 year Apple TV+ subscription?

    Starting November 1, you'll be able to start your 1 year free Apple TV+ in the Apple TV app. Follow these steps:

    1. Turn on your new iPhone, iPad, iPod touch, Apple TV 4K or Apple TV HD, or Mac and sign in with your Apple ID.
    2. Open the Apple TV app on November 1 or later. Make sure your eligible device is running the latest version of iOS, iPadOS, tvOS, or macOS.
    3. The offer should be presented immediately after launching the app. If not, scroll down in Watch Now until the offer appears.
    4. Tap "Enjoy 1 Year Free." You might be asked to enter your Apple ID password, confirm your billing information, or add a valid payment method. You will not be charged during the 1 year free trial.

    Terms & Conditions of the offer:

    • Only one offer per Apple ID and only one offer per family if you're part of a Family Sharing group, regardless of the number of devices you or your family purchases. Up to 6 family members can share one Apple TV+ subscription through Family Sharing.

    Austria no Apple TV channels

    I don't understand why Austria is left out. We Hebamme 1 Apple TV Channel available. Meanwhile Germany gets to use amazon prime and all the good stuff trough the Apple TV app but we still have to switch apps every time..

    Apple TV+ free for students subscribed to Apple Music?

    I am a student and I have Apple Music but it seems to only offer a 7 days trial then full price after. I know this was never confirmed by Apple itself but it was posted on Instagram by the lead actress in Dickinson and then spread over blogs online.

    The option for subscribing appears when the page loads and then disappears but if you manage to click on it before it disappears you can subscribe. The 1 free year offer appears even when I am not subscribing from the new device, maybe they detected the account had logged in on the new device before.

    Pixelated screen

    My entire apple tv is pixelated from the first screen to videos. I have swapped the Hdmi's, reset the entire thing, and the only thing i haven't done is try it on a different tv. I don't think it's the tv though because when i pull up tv menus and stuff, they aren't pixelated. Only items within the apple tv are pixelated. I tried to airplay from my phone to see if that looked different but it was still pixels. i tried to change the resolution. nothing is working, please help!

    FILE SIZE for downloads insanely BIG

    Why are the downloads for TV shows so gigantic? Up to 6GB for a single TV episode? This makes it unusable for on-the-go watching. Netflix and Amazon have fantastic picture quality at much less than 1GB per episode.

    I lost my free one year Apple TV+

    I tried to activate the one year free trial on our new Apple TV 4k then I noticed that my brother was logged in so I went back to switch accounts. After I logged in to my account the TV app said that I am only eligible for a 7 days free trial. After that no matter which account I tried to activate it, it always said 7 days trial. I tried restarting and everything but it's locked to 7 days. Any ideas?

    Did iOS 13 bring the ability for iTunes TV shows to automatically play the next episode? Some are saying it’s working for them... not for me.

    I created a post last week complaining about how Apple doesn't automatically play the next episode like other streaming services.

    To my surprise, 2 people said it's working for them. They said they were watching iTunes content and after the episode was over, it played the next episode.

    I tried this within the TV Shows app and tried it in the Apple TV app. None of the series I tested played the next episode.

    Is this something exclusive to Apple TV 4K? Maybe there's a miscommunication from the people telling me this?

    I searched Google for information on it, but all I got was other people asking/complaining about an auto play next feature for iTunes content.

    Is it possible to sign in with existing subscription account on Apple TV channels?

    So I am a Roku user for a few years and I was happy when Apple TV app because available on it. I'm currently subscribed to CBS All Access, Epix Now & Starz. However, my parents also owns a Roku and are subscribed to HBO, Hulu, Netflix & Prime Video and we all share accounts. Tomorrow I will definitely sign up for Apple TV plus. So, the question is can I login with my current subscriptions using Apple TV channels without having to click "Try it free"?
