- This will happen seemingly at random on my phone and iPad. It’s not really that annoying I just curious why it does this and why it’s so random. (Yes I know it does this when you first turn on the device from shutting it down and when you fail faceid or touchid like 5 times but it does randomly too)

Posted: 04 Nov 2019 06:42 AM PST I've watched a couple videos on youtube but I got tired of watching 20 minute videos for like 5 tips. But it was clear that iOS has gotten a lot more powerful since I owned a 4S years ago. I follow the tech world somewhat closely so I know all thee headline features like handoff etc but I'm looking for small things like "when moving apps you press and hold on a certain app and then you can tap on multiple other apps to move them all at once". I also have an iPad that I use infrequently and have a Macbook Pro that I use daily if that makes any difference. Thanks! [link] [comments]  | ||
| Unnecessary changes in iOS 13? Posted: 04 Nov 2019 04:04 AM PST Why do Apple change things seemingly just for the sake of change? IMO there's several unnecessary changes in iOS 13, I have a short list of things that bug me... Text editing - Why remove the little magnifying glass when selecting text? It worked perfectly and now the new way sucks, instead of being able to make a selection in the middle of a word, it just selects the entire word! Trimming videos - Previously when trimming a video you would have the option of saving over the original or saving as a new copy, now it just overwrites the original without even asking! The layout of the app store with updates now moved behind your user profile in the top corner... Anything else? 🤓👎🏻 [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 04 Nov 2019 06:29 AM PST Just got the notification that my iPhone X storage is full, and when I go to manage storage it says I've only used 58.8 GB of 64 GB. It's annoying to have that little red notification that won't leave, but my photos also stopped uploading to iCloud because apparently there's not enough storage on my phone? Pics seen here. | Why 4k 30 fps is better for night videography? Posted: 04 Nov 2019 05:46 AM PST 4k 60 fps seems so dull for night videography when compared to 4k 30 fps. Is it due to the slow shutter speed in 30 fps which allows more light to pass in ? If so why 4k 24 fps is not better than 4k 30 at night. | Posted: 04 Nov 2019 07:58 AM PST For some reason nobody I text is as into Memoji's as I am, and won't set their iMessage profile to a Memoji of themselves. I'm so into it that I made a Memoji for everyone I text on a regular basis. I even make Memojis for less frequent contacts that I text with, when a conversation begins. It's just so satisfying to have that profile pic for each contact in my list of conversations. So I think Apple should allow profile pic suggestions so if my lazy ass friends don't take the time to make a nice Memoji version of themselves, I'll gladly do it. And they can simply apply it after I "send the profile suggestion" somehow. What do y'all think? [link] [comments]  | ||

| iOS 13 connection issues on XS Posted: 04 Nov 2019 07:35 AM PST Has anyone else had a problem with the data connection after losing signal and then regaining signal? It seems the only app that successfully recovers is Facebook. In order for other apps to "see" the data connection, I have to pull down the Control Center and turn off and on the data connection. As soon as I do this, notifications start coming in, and Firefox starts working again. I work in a warehouse, and I frequently lose and regain signal. This started with iOS 13. I'm on AT and T, iOS 13.1.3, iPhone XS. (The ampersand doesn't show up properly, at least not in this reddit app) [link] [comments]  | ||

| Posted: 03 Nov 2019 01:02 PM PST I made a post about this when iOS 13 first came out. My phone, an iPhone XR, literally can't keep more than 1 app open. I get a reload every time I switch apps, damn near 100% of the time. Is this due to poor ram management in iOS 13? Is there something else that's causing this? Is anyone else having this problem? It's so frustration because it never happened in iOS 12, I've had iPhones for quite sometime and one of my favorite things about them was how long they keep apps open in the background. Now however, my pixel 3a keeps open way more apps in the background for way longer. I don't understand and it's super frustrating because I switch between apps frequently.
