    So as the title says grandmother bought a phone off Facebook marketplace. Ad was made with a fake account and the woman meet her at her house. Phone was on the set up phase when sold and grandmother assumed that was good I went to set it up for her after work and it's locked to an I cloud account and they deactivated it using find my iPhone. Messaged woman she says her daughter accidentally locked it and than deleted her face book account. I understand this is an antitheft lock out and understand this was probably a stolen I phone or lost than found iPhone but I have no way to contact the original owner because the email connected to the I cloud is censored. What are the chances if I contact apple that they unlock it if.

    Severed problem with my iPad Pro. Need help

    2017 iPad Pro 10.5 Space Gray WiFi+3G 64GB. iPadOS 13.2

    Had an issue with all headphones including earpods never fitting correctly in the 3.5 port. Always popping out unless I force them.

    Two days ago, tried to put them in to watch videos, when I forced them, got black screen.

    Forced reset, booted fine, then put them in again, black screen.

    Tried resetting again and then it starts turning on with the Apple logo, then turning to black, then the logo, etc, etc.

    Tried resetting several times, does nothing.

    Tried updating software even though it should be up to date, nothing.

    Tried restoring, computer got to where Progress bar would go across on the iPad.

    I'd select a backup, but it would say the iPad was disconnected and it would start the turning on and off again.

    Tried restoring it three times and then it's still doing the loop, but with a progress bar.

    I let the battery drain, it displayed the normal message asking to be plugged in, and when I pluged it in the loop started again.

    Put it recovery mode again and have attempted to restore it with two different computers, two lightning cables, and several USB ports.

    Now it's stuck in recovery mode, iPad turns off if I unplug it, turns on when I do. If I try to restore it now, it switches to the normal Apple boot screen after the process, then the screen flashes solid red and switches back to recovery mode while the computer says Error 4013

    I'm at the end of my rope. Can't afford Apple's $449 Out of Warranty fee, mine expired August 30th.

    Baby the hell out of the thing, never dropped or hit it. No excessive heat or cold.

    Cant export a video file to iphone

    Performed SMC reset on MBP...now it won't boot.

    The trackpad on the Mid 12' 13" MBP wasn't registering properly, so I performed an SMC reset. The reset appeared to go fine, however, now when I power up the MBP, it boots to a dead screen - there appears to be no power (it's not even backlit), however, the keyboard is backlit. After a few minutes of inactivity, the keyboard goes dark, but lights back up when I hit a key.

    Any ideas?

    iPhone search isn’t searching inside OneNote

    Anyone else have this issue? The search is working great for google keep but not for OneNote I checked the configuration at settings—> Siri and search and double check that everything in on but still it is not search inside

    Downloading apps you already had but on a new apple ID.

    So I have an old iPad and I installed minecraft pe on it back in 2012. Now I have an iPhone 8 and a different apple id. I signed into my old apple id and installed minecraft through that old account iPad account and then switched back to my current apple id. It worked and now I have minecraft on my iPhone 8 and current apple id. Basically downloading apps you already had but on a new apple ID. Is this a legit way of downloading apps you already had but on a different account/Apple ID? Will I receive updates for the app?

    Apples stance on dust damage

    I have an iPhone 8 that has always had a quiet front speaker but I never noticed until I tried my freinds 8, so I'm bring it in for repair, it's always been quiet but over the years it's gotten quieter to the point where calls are sometimes unheard, I'm not saying they won't trust me but if they don't and end up assume it's because of dust/dirt in the speaker what's the coverage, I don't have Apple care plus just my one year of warranty

    Headphones not working on chrome

    While using headphones with chrome, if I plug the headphone out of the jack and replug it while audio is under playback, the audio is played through the Mac Book air's speakers not the headphones. The problem is specially exclusive to Google Chrome, other apps are not affected. Pls suggest a fix

    iPhone xsmax randomly switching Bluetooth devices while playing music

    At least once a week my wife will go to bed and I will stay up and listen to music on a pair of second gen AirPods. Randomly the music playing on the AirPods will start blasting out of the echo speaker in the bedroom my wife is sleeping in.

    I've tried forgetting and rediscovering AirPods as well as the echo device. Phone is up to date.

    Anyone else experiencing this?

    iPhone 11 Pro not recording audio

    No clue why but about 50% of the time the audio completely doesn't record when I'm taking videos. I've looked everywhere I could think of for something could be enabled that might be turning off the audio but I've come up empty handed. Even when I go to view the video the speaker icon is greyed out as if it muted itself.

    So what's going on here guys I'm stumped

    Removing app from App Store due to Apple Developer Program cost $149AUD

    As the title says, cancelling my Apple Developer Program as I'm unable to recoup my investment for the yearly membership.

    This is disappointing as my app is aimed at a niche market and I know the users find it very useful. I've tried to keep the cost of the app to a minimum.

    Can Hotkeys control a software in the background?

    Is it possible to create Hotkeys to control a software that is running in the background?

    Example: I will be using an editor (text, graphics, video, coding, etc) in the foreground.

    In the background on a separate monitor will be a different software playing a tutorial video (like VLC or Quicktime)

    While I'm in the editor, is it possible to hit hotkeys to pause, play, rewind 20-seconds of the video, so I can follow along easier?

    Apple EarPods (not AirPods) keep breaking

    Hi, since getting my iPhone almost 2 years ago, I've gone through 4 pairs of EarPods. Each time the right headphone seems to stop emitting audio. Does anyone have any advice for how to prevent this (other than get AirPods)?

    Each time I restart my iPhone 6s it gets stuck in a dim screen state. The phone is very old and the screen is new. The screen is on.

    Magsafe charger not working

    Hello, I have a macbook pro 15 early 2011, and the magsafe isn't charging anymore, the green light keeps flashing (it gets really strong and then it kinda dims a little, and it keeps doing that forever) and the battery icon keeps flashing as well (charging, not charging, forever), here's a video: https://imgur.com/a/YJuTVcX I've tried resetting smc, removing the battery, putting it back on, turning on without the battery (it didn't turn on), idk what else to try, and no, I can't buy a new macbook (I know it's old), cause I live in a third world country and this macbook was given to me for free cause the owner thought it was broken (just had to buy a new battery), I used it for roughly a month before this started happening

    Apple Homekit compatibility: Google Hub/Nest vs Amazon Echo?

    I have an iPhone and Macbook, but no smart speakers yet. Probably won't get a Home Pod just yet, but interested in integrating a smart speaker from Google or Amazon (perhaps even one with a screen).

    Geo-fencing triggers, music streaming and setting reminders/to-do lists by voice are some important features to me.

    HELP!!! Can I repair my MacBook Pro Mid 2012 or should I get a new one?

    I need orientation ASAP :((((

    So, a few months ago my backpack fell into the sea with my laptop in it :/ I got it out as fast as I could of course, but the laptop was soaking wet. I dried it as good as I could, I opened it and everything to get all the water out, then left it overnight in front of a fan. The next morning, when I tried to turn it on, it didn't. I pushed the battery indicator on the side and it said the computer had battery, so I left it for a couple of days "resting", then I made another attempt to turn it on, but again, it did not. I connected the charger and the light turned on, but the laptop showed no sign of life.

    After like a month or so, I finally took it to somebody that could check how bad was it, but the guy didn't give a lot of answers. He just said that he had cleaned it and did everything that he could, but apparently nothing worked, and told me that the best solution would be to buy a new one. So, I really don't know what the problem is, he said something about the logic card, but I mean, if I had to replace that it would be way cheaper than buying a new computer. I had recently changed the SSD and the RAM, and according to the guy, they're supposed to be fine.

    I really want to get more information, is my computer totally ruined? Can I save her? Could I sell the parts?

    HELP! :(

    Airpods Cleaning Tips

    Hi,

    I have the first gen airpods and i've had a reoccurring problem with keeping them clean. I've had then since April 2018 and over time i've found using a dedicated toothbrush and a q-tip to dislodge anything blocking the mesh is the most successful method for cleaning. That said, I put my airpods in immediately after taking a shower yesterday while the inside of my ears were still partially wet (whether or not that's of importance is up to you). Today, I'm having the same issue that I usually have which is muffled sound and a loose uncomfortable fit. I went back to my normal methods but after spending about 10 minutes attempting to clean them I still have no luck.

    If anyone has/had the same problem, has a solution for it, or has better cleaning methods, I would love to get some advice as i'm not quite ready to upgrade to the pros yet.

    iOS Podcast app constantly crashing/stalling

    Anyone else have this problem? My iOS Podcast app is constantly crashing, hanging, or is otherwise slow/unresponsive.

    Sometimes I am listening to something and it will suddenly crash, audio stop, the media widget disappearing from the lock screen. The app is constantly slow. Sometimes I will hit "pause" or "play" and it'll take 5 seconds to actually take effect.

    I listen to a TON of podcasts so this is a pretty big annoyance.

    Running iOS 13.2 on an iPhone 6S.

    Help with signing in with AppleID in apps

    When signing in on an app with an AppleID, you're given the option to share my email. When I tap on it I'm given two email addresses to choose from, my current AppleID email and another one which isn't related to my AppleID at all. Is it possible to remove it or can it be replaced?

    My iMac won't boot and immediately shut off after the chime. What am I looking at?

    I have a 2011 iMac that as of last night was functioning normally. I came home from work today to find it was powered off. It would not restart when I pressed the button so I unplugged it and plugged it back in. As soon as I plugged it back in I heard everything start up, then I heard the chime and there was a Flash of white screen and then it died.

    Pushing the button at this point did nothing and I had to unplug it and plug it back in to get it to try to reboot. What's unusual is that it keeps trying to turn on when I plug it in, even if I don't push the button. It will not get past the chime before shutting off.

    I have a wireless keyboard so I tried to plug in a Dell USB keyboard and try some of the boot commands but nothing happened. Didn't look like the keyboard even got power. Does anybody have any ideas of what's going on?

    Can’t sign in to any google service on iPhone 11 running 13.2

    I'm running iOS 13.2 on iPhone 11 and haven't been able to get my gmail on my phone for a few days. I was getting the notification on my watch but my gmail app kept saying "no connection". Investigated more, turns out none of my google services are syncing (mail, contacts, calendar, Keep...) which is causing a lot of issues on a daily basis for me.

    My accounts tab says there's a problem with the password but when I re-enter the password it doesn't work. Everything works fine if I use a desktop (not a password problem). Also, I signed out completely, deleted all google services, and now can't even add my google account to my phone. I obviously tried the softer solutions (restart phone, reset network settings...).

    Next step for me is to try a hard phone reset but I'm not too excited about it. Any recommendations?
