- iPhone 6 128gb. Storage full?!?!? Storage shows only 35gb being used. Where has the 93gb gone??? I’ve emptied recently deleted folder and signed out of iTunes. I’ve erased like 1.5hrs of video and 100’s of photos at a time and the result will only be enough room for 2-3 photos. Don’t get it.

The thing is, I always get a little sketched out about used stuff. Is there any way there's anything that shouldn't be on the laptop from the last person or from being on the floor? | Posted: 21 Oct 2019 09:54 PM PDT I recently had my mbp serviced and it came to me with Catalina installed. So I wanted to revert to my Time Machine Backup from Mojave (10.14.6). Everything works exept that I can't get pass the login screen. After typing the password I get looped on the loading screen. System itself works (I was able to lauch iTunes which brought also the menu bar and I was able to use apps/files from recent items etc). I also checked Activity Monitor and there's a process called useraccountappdater (if I recall correctly). Is there any solution for this? I remember the last time it happened after some time it fixed itself. Also a weird thing happened when I left the laptop turned off overnight but when I woke up it was on the login screen (loading as if I typed the password). [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 21 Oct 2019 08:34 PM PDT Latest IOS 13.1.3 iPhone 8. AirPods Gen2 no wireless charging. I seemed to have misplaced my AirPods somewhere in my house, my car or my friends house. Shortly after visiting my friends house I was at home and used the find my iPhone app and it said it's last known location. It's last known location was in my pocket while driving so that was no help. I was waiting for perhaps an update on where they are or for the sound alarm option to help. My phone ended up dying and upon turning on my phone and opening the app, my AirPods have completely disappeared from the app device list. Now I have no way to find them and I want to know if there's some way to recover them. Also, the AirPods case was arnd 50% battery and only after about an hour did my phone die. | Reset iPad through iTunes without passcode? Posted: 21 Oct 2019 08:23 PM PDT Hello, Just the other day I found my Air 2 dead and put it on the charger, usually it boots up and goes to my lock screen, but this time it stayed on the apple screen. Holding the lock button doesn't do anything, holding the lock screen and the home button will turn the screen off momentarily, but then it goes back to the apple screen. It will stay here until the battery drains all the way. I've connected my iPad to my computer, Windows and iTunes recognizes the device, but iTunes tells me that it couldn't connect to the iPad because it's locked with a passcode. However, I can't unlock the iPad because it won't boot past the apple screen. I haven't downloaded anything in the last few months, and I was running iOS 10. Anything else I could do? Posted: 21 Oct 2019 08:03 PM PDT Currently I have a shortcut that can do the job but it names as IMG_0001, IMG_0002, IMG_0003 ............ IMG_00010 ........ IMG_000400 and so on. | Does anyone know of an app which will insert a date into photographs? Posted: 21 Oct 2019 07:19 PM PDT Looks like I will have to use a camera for work to do this unless I can find an app for my phone which will insert a non-removable date and time, in regular font not comic sans or some weird typeface. Any suggestions? Android has a bunch of apps but I see none in the app store. I checked the camera apps too but none seem to do this. I would prefer the date and time to be inserted at the time of taking the photograph but an app which imprints exif data might suffice. TIA. [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 21 Oct 2019 06:31 PM PDT Hello all, new to the entirety of Mac OS, haven't used an Apple computer since it was probably around 1999? Anyways, recently picked up a (What I believe to be) 2009 iMac 24". Core2Duo with 4 GB ram, Running Mac OS X 10.5.8. Im trying to get some basic programs installed, such as Chrome or Firefox. The newest versions obviously wont work. I get the circle with the cross over the icon. I found the website oldversion.com, and when I find a copy of the program that I want and download it, I get a .php file and the computer doesn't seem to know what to do with it. It just opens up a text program and is filled with gibberish. Im aware of .dmg files, but I cannot find a link of chrome/firefox on that website that will download a .dmg file and install. Installing seems to be as simple as click and dragging the .dmg file over to the "applications" folder? Sorry I know this is a very simple thing for those of you that use Mac every day, But I've been a Windows guy for... ever? Don't shoot though, I'm trying to learn! Lol. Thanks in advance for the help! Also if there is a way to get a newer version of Mac OS onto this, please let me know! | Watch Now Crashes Apple TV App on Apple TV 4K Posted: 21 Oct 2019 05:27 PM PDT I am running tvOS 13.0 on my Apple TV 4K and, starting yesterday, the Watch Now tab in the Apple TV app crashes the Apple TV app when I try to scroll below the Up Next row. All the other tabs in the Apple TV app allow for normal scrolling throughout the tab. I am using the original Apple TV remote and updated to tvOS 13.0 weeks ago. Is this unique to my device? | Help needed with some accidental App Store purchases hellhole Posted: 21 Oct 2019 12:41 PM PDT The situation: My father found out some large transactions on his Paypal account has occurred by an unknown Apple account, which was used to spend funds on the App Store. He reported to Paypal of unauthorized use, and got refunded. Later, he discovered that the Apple account belonged to my little sister, who's a little English-impaired, accidentally spent about 340$ after not cancelling app subscription and thinking she was still using them on trail periods. Now her Apple ID is blocked from downloading any new apps from the App Store. Does anyone have any idea how to get her account unblocked and usable again? Any way to aolve this by contacting Apple?
