| Pro's & con's of buying a 2nd hand series 1 Apple Watch? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 07:17 AM PDT Ok a little context. My son has his heart on buying an Apple Watch. The issue is he's only 11yrs old and we (his parents) think it would be a waste of money. He is pretty good at saving up his pocket money etc and has the funds however we know little/to nothing about them. Does anyone have some advice as to why he should/shouldn't get one? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 12:37 AM PDT After almost a whole year trying to figure out wether if i should get a smartwatch/sportswatch for myself or not and looking up all the possible reviews on Garmin watches and Apple watches , i just decided that i might as well just stick to the brand what have been serving me reliably for the past years. So adding an apple watch to my arsenal raised another struggle, two to be exact. So people who are currently using an S5 and preferably upgraded from an S4, dis it really worth the upgrade? Hows the battery life on the 5 series? Would you recommend buying a brand new S4 or go for an S5? The price difference is so slight its not a factor for me to consider at all, its really about the products performance and overall experience with it. The other one is for people who are using their watch to track cycling, intense cycling with their apple watch. I bike an average of 25kms a day on an average speed of 28-32km/h. Hows it keeping up with the heartrate, how accurate is it? What apps you recommend - is really strava the best choice to go with? Any chest straps you'd recommend if a good app and the wrist monitor still isnt enough? And again.. S4 or S5? Thanks for your time, insights and answers! Have a lovely day everyone! | Weather and Stocks not working properly after iOS 13 and WatchOS 6 Posted: 09 Oct 2019 06:32 AM PDT About 90% of the time, Weather and Weather Conditions sit there on my watch and just say, "Loading Weather Data". Also, Stocks only show the first one in my list, not the last one I looked at. Sometimes, it will switch to the last one I looked at, but it eventually goes back to the first one on its own. I have all related location services to "While Using App", since they removed "Always". I've rebooted both devices multiple times. Anyone else experiencing this craziness??? [link] [comments]  | ||

Does Raise to Speak just mean you can talk to Siri without saying "Hey Siri"? If that were the case, I would wouldn't think you can change the two settings independent of one another. At first everything showed up nicely in the watch but after some days, Exchange appointments are not syncing anymore. It shows only some appointments. But more than half of them are not showing. | Digital time complication for Infograph? Posted: 09 Oct 2019 07:52 AM PDT Does anybody have any good suggestions for an app that will add a digital time complication to the Watch? I see references to "WatchTheTime!" in old posts, but that doesn't appear to be in the app store anymore, and while the World Clock is okay in some faces, it sucks on the Infograph face, because it's tiny and hard to read at a glance in the corners, and it's an analogue if you put it in a sub-dial position. I know that there is a digital time complication that can go in the top sub-dial position (only), but that prevents you from using that space for the calendar complication. I feel like there has to be an app out there that adds a simple, easy-to-read digital time that is useful on the Infograph face, without having to take over the top sub-dial position. Anybody?
