    I've been considering switching over for a while now, they just seem to look much nicer, but a bit worried about the functionality. I remember years ago people were saying they were not great.

    Permanent shadows on screen (iOS 13)

    Since updating to iOS 13 I appear to have the shadows of 3 permanent buttons down the right hand side of the screen.

    They're extremely faint and appear on every app, but are only really visible on light backgrounds. The top button is definitely a search icon, then the 2 underneath are smaller and I can't really see what they are.

    Had a quick Google and couldn't see anything, so I thought I'd reach out to see if anyone else had seen this? It's not the end of the world, just curious more than anything.

    Ordered a 11 Pro Max a few days ago since I really liked the new phones and iOS has gotten a lot better since I used it last time (iPhone 4) and Android annoys me a lot, maybe I just need a change in my life ;)

    Optimise iPhone Storage (Files) Option Missing.

    On iOS there is an optimise storage option for photos and music. There even an optimise storage option on MacOS.

    But it's missing for files (Desktop/Documents/Downloads) on iOS.

    I have a 256GB iPhone 11 "Pro" with over 130GB free and every original photo is synced.

    Why my small 4GB Desktop and Documents folders aren't synced for offline use is beyond me.

    Apps keeps closing IOS 13 after locking the device-XR

    It seems ios 13 messed up memory management every time I leave some app open them lock the device then unlock it the app will refresh. Specially happening on YouTube. Every time I leave it open on video it gets refreshed to home page after unlocking the device. It's very annoying issue ugh.

    Is the Files App SMB feature working???

    I have a SAMBA server (linux) and trying to map shares using the Files app. The server allows only SMB3+ clients to connect (SMB2 and lower are disabled for security reasons).

    I can connect to the server using the files app but when I try to browse the shares, it shows an error "Content Unavailable". The shares/permissions are correct as I verified it using smbclient.

    It appears Apple's implementation of this feature was just a garbage job/marketing hype.

    Question about iCloud Family Sharing

    I just bought the 50 GB version and I've used it up just a month later (I used to record everything on 4K) and I've decided to upgrade to the 200 GB.

    It says that the 200 GB is eligible for Family Sharing. Now, I know that we all share that same 200 GB, but can we set a specific limit for each family member or iCloud will just let anyone use up as much as they want?

    So I'm currently trying to download an app on my iPhone but can't cause it needs to verify my payment, but I can't remove the card cause I have active subscriptions. If I cancel all active subscriptions and remove the payment option will I then be able to download the app?

    Reminders app not reminding

    I am on latest iOS 13.x update. I find that of the 40-50 reminders I have only a few are popping up. Has anyone else seen this issue? There was an online post that I should delete my account and re add my iCloud account to the phone. I tried this but haven't seen any success over the last few months. Any ideas 💡 dear friends?

    Playlists in Music app are set in alphabetical order, but playlists on my iPhone are set in playlist order

    Sorry if this is a MacOS bug, but this has been pissing me off and I wanted to see if there's a fix to this. If it is a MacOS bug, I'll delete the post.

    I updated to Catalina last night so I could backup my phone which was on iOS 13. This is where the trouble began. I like most of my playlists to be set in alphabetical order, and ever since I upgraded to Catalina, my playlists were back to be defaulted to be in playlist order.

    I was able to get my playlists set to alphabetical order on my iTunes library, but for some reason all my playlists on my phone are set to playlist order.

    Is there any way to fix this, whether it's something with Catalina or iOS 13.
