    As the title says, last night I was studying using my MacBook, and when I woke up this morning, it just wouldn't turn on... I thought maybe it died so when I plugged the charger in, nothing appeared on the screen, the Apple logo on the back won't light up, nothings working. It's been on charge for an hour now and nothing is working. I've tried holding down the power then pressing, tried the shift+control+option

    I'm panicking now because I need it to study as I have a lot saved on it, and I also don't want to buy a whole new lap top :(. Does this seem like a problem Apple will have to fix in the store ?

    Does anyone have any idea on what's wrong? Any help is welcomed

    iCloud Photo Library: 1 Extra photo on my iPad than on my other devices. Why?

    This sort of little thing annoys me.

    Why is there an extra photo on my iPad?

    Does this mean I am missing a photo on my other devices?

    This isn't the first time this happens, I've had 6 missing / extra photos before, and I hunted them down.

    Do I really need to this again...

    Airpods pro vs beats solo pro

    So currently I have beats solo 3 and regular airpods. I'm looking to get either the new beats or the new airpods. I'm torn between which time get, I personally would enjoy either but I'd like to note I usually dont like earbuds with tips. The normal airpods fit me perfectly. Let me know your guys opinions

    I was charged recently for a free trial that I canceled 2 years ago. I can’t even use the subscription that I paid for. Any help on how to refund this transaction?

    I booted off the SSD and am typing this using it. It's faster by far and no lags to open programs like the old SATA drive. Carbon Copy Cloner walked me through making a bootable disk. Thank you so much for the recommendation. I literally couldn't have done it without you!

    Does Apple have a no questions asked return policy? I was just in the store last Tuesday, because my first gen started messing up. I bought gen 2, of course there was no mention of the pro coming out. I'm still within my return window, can I return these to get the pro?

    It just goes to a black screen with the mouse cursor on it. I then have to hold the power button to turn it off, and then it tells me to it's not been shut down properly when I turn it back on. This also means that I can't install any updates that require a restart. It is beyond frustrating. Can anyone please help me

    I've tried seemingly everything. I've checked the settings on my phone, I've restarted both the phone and the HomePod, updated to the latest 13.2.1.

    I play a song on my phone. I pause it and wave the phone over the HomePod and nothing happens.

    Anything else I can try?

    Which year and model MacBook Pro 15” is best value?

    I'm in the market for a used MBP 15". I'm looking for a used machine since I don't want to pay full price for the current design, which is likely to change within the next year. I also don't really need the performance of a brand new 15", but I prefer 15" over 13".

    Which model/year would you consider the best value at the moment? I know this depends on the individual price negotiation, but any general observations are much appreciated. I'm looking at 2015 unibody models to avoid the risk of keyboard failures after the end of the keyboard replacement program for e.g. 2016 models. I do see that unibody models are priced quite high compared to butterfly keyboard models (lower of course, but not by much), so maybe a lot of people think this way. Also concerned with longevity of a generally speedy performance on day to day tasks and the odd photo-editing.

    iPhone 11 Pro Max Camera - physical clicking noise

    I have been taking some photos in my bedroom this evening using my release day 11 Pro Max, and I've noticed that sometimes when I open or close the camera app the camera makes a physical click sound. I am in an almost silent room, and the sound is very quiet.

    I am aware that cameras have moving parts, but I have been using iPhones for years - this is my 9th one, and this is the first time I've ever noticed this. Anyone else ever heard this noise?

    Hi all I got a 2012 Macbook pro and it will not charge unless upside down. I'm completely puzzled. Things I already did -smc reset -cleaning the magsafe port -trying the charger on my old Macbookpro from 2009 (worked completely fine) I'm out of options I have no idea what to do.

    AirPods say ‘not your AirPods’

    I recently bought AirPods 2nd gen with wireless charging case and when I go to connect them to my phone they say 'not your AirPods' but still let's me connect. The issue is it doesn't let me change the settings of the AirPods nor rename them.

    When I got to my devices in Bluetooth and go to AirPods it only gives me two options. To disconnect or forget the device.

    Also when I check my iCloud account, my AirPods do not show up there with my phone and laptop.

    I have also tried resetting but the case never shows the amber light it just flashes white really fast then goes green.

    I figured she is screwed but maybe someone else can help? She's not tech savvy and I'm not up to date on Apple software.

    My friend was gifted 5-6 years ago, an iPad Air from her Aunt. At the time she didn't have her own email so she used her step-mom's account and she didn't use it for a few years until she had her son and wanted to use it for him to watch videos and some games. The activation lock popped up and she does not know the information. Her step-mom is not in the picture anymore, she has no contact info for her and is pretty certain she moved back to Bulgaria. I know Apple has their hands tied if she asked them just to unlock it to see that she has photos of herself over the years.

    She called Apple and they said they need proof of purchase. Her aunt has NO idea and is no help on that front. Is this really it for her iPad? There is nothing that can be done to save it or is it basically bricked because she doesn't have the information apple needs from her?

    App switching

    Running the most recent iOS on 7+.

    Since the most recent update my background apps have not been working correctly. Anytime I double click the home button to switch to another previously opened app it completely reloads the app from the start. It's frustrating when on reddit or something similar to be reading, get a text, switch to respond, only to reload the app when I go to switch back.

    It previously would hold open my last page in the apps but not any longer. It's doing this for all apps outlook, reddit, Twitter, fbook, etc.

    Can't transfer files from Private Photo Vault app

    I'm on Windows 7 and can't seem to find a way to transfer files from this app to my computer. The easiest way, which would be to simply move my photos back to the main folder, plug the USB and copy, doesn't work. Whenever I try to use the Export option and select my camera roll (only option available) it gives me an error message saying "Photos Access not allowed (authorization status 2)".

    Then there's a Move option, which allows me to move everything to some iTunes folder for transfering using the iTunes software on my PC (according to Photo Vault instructions), but the iTunes here doesn't seem to work for photos anymore, it's basically a virtual library of videos, songs etc completely unrelated to my iPhone's content. iCloud doesn't work either, the computer app is useless and only serves to redirect me to icloud.com, it has an option to download pictures but it's not working for anything on the Private Photo Vault.

    Any thoughts? My phone is full and I really need to get rid of this stuff asap.

    Can’t Cancel App Store Subscription
