| iphone touchscreen freezes after upgrading to ios 12 Posted: 30 Sep 2019 12:30 AM PDT I upgraded My Iphone 6 from ios 10 to ios 12 two weeks ago .. few hours after upgrade > I noticed that the touch screen was a little bit sensitive and touch was not accurate and the problem becomes worse everyday but yesterday and today it was at its worst .. touch screen freezes every time i try to use the phone , it only works for just seconds -up to 10 minutes without freezing- then its frozen again for more than minute .. sometimes it opens apps on its own .. that never happened when i was on ios 10 .. the problem just revealed the day after upgrading .. I tried resetting all contents and settings and restoring using itunes but both didn't help [link] [comments]  |

Apple said they don't cover a replacement battery unless the battery is at 80% health or lower. However, my AppleCare warranty is expiring soon. | iPhone 6S Plus Overheats Very Quickly Posted: 29 Sep 2019 06:15 PM PDT So yesterday I had some free time so I decided to chill in my bed and watch YouTube. I accidentally fell asleep for about 45 minutes with YouTube still playing. I think the battery was nearly full when I fell asleep and it was on about 50-60% when I woke up. I climbed back out of bed and put the iPhone back on my charger. About an hour later I come back, text some friends for about 15 minutes and the alert pops up that my iPhone needs to cool down. I have a slim case on so I didn't notice that it was getting hot. Now it always get hot after about 15 minutes no matter how long I leave it to cool Also it starts to get hot in about 2 minutes and it starts to get hot right near the camera and power button. Before my friend and I had a fight last year and we blocked each other on social media he had an iphone. I have decided I want to reach out, but the message was green. It did not go from blue to green. It just immediately became green, with no 'sent' or 'delivered' below it. It seems like everyone I know with an android I send messages to, it is like this: green immediately, with no message about it being sent or delivered underneath it. | Posted: 29 Sep 2019 07:01 PM PDT So, I lost my iphone... I was going to login to my icloud account and do a remote wipe, so that nobody would be able to see my photos and personal info... Basically, i was gonna try to factory reset it... Well, i forgot that i mustve activated 2fa at some point... Because, then it immediately reminded me, by saying that it was sending me a verification code for me to enter... Obviously, i didnt have the phone... So, i couldnt type the verification code... 🤦🤦🤦 So, then i was gonna go through the steps of changing my current number, so that i could get a verification number sent to my other phone... And thats when it told me that "We are evaluating your information. You will receive a message in 24hrs to the number you provided, etc." THEN, after i did this terribly stupid thing... THAT'S WHEN I NOTICED, that i couldve just verified my identity by entering my credit card number that is tied to my account! Smmfh!! So, i tried to click "verify now" by entering my credit card info... And it just keeps saying that it will send me a mesaage in 24hrs to the new number that i provided... So, now i have 2 questions... 1.) After the 24 hrs is up and they send me the text to my new number... THEN, will i have the opportunity to do what my dumbass should have done the first time (enter my credit card info) when i was in such a hurry and accidentally skipped over that part?! And also.. 2.) Would i be able to login to the "Find my iphone" app on my friends iphone and just erase the iphone that way? Any help, or, feedback, would be GREATLY APPRECIATED! I look forward to hearing back from you... Thanks, in advance! The phone in question is an iPhone 6S+... And im not exactly sure which version of ios i have installed... | Getting old photos from iMessages (currently in iCloud) onto new phone which has more storage Posted: 29 Sep 2019 08:19 AM PDT On my old phone, I was running low on storage space. One of the recommendations was to store old messages (and photos) onto the iCloud. When I would go into a message thread, and click info, it would give me the option to download all the photos. Now I have the iPhone 11, with significantly more storage. How do I download the photos from my messages thread onto it? I still have the whole message threads but I have to scroll up and download each one by one. When I click info, it only lists the newest ones. Any help would be appreciated! [link] [comments]  |

| Posted: 29 Sep 2019 08:14 AM PDT I updated my iPhone and my gaming app, Toy Story Drop, has a new name, Bronze Cowboy, and has a weird grey geometric box as the picture and does not open. I've tried: - Downloading Toy Story Drop from the App Store. That does not work. It just opens the app and shuts off. - Googling this issue. No luck. - Asking friends with the app. No luck. So I didn't sync my app to Facebook so I think I may have lost all my app data and all the levels I've played. Honestly, it's only a mildly big deal, because it's just a game to play on the train. My iCloud calendar on the web is set to eastern standard time zone, when I program a calendar reminder say for 9am, it automatically logs it in my iPhone as pacific time. I've checked the time zones on both devices and they are fine. Why does this default to pacific time zone when I set up something from the web icloud? [link] [comments]  |

Model: iPhone SE Issue 1: when unlocking a locked note, I have to wait 2-3 minutes for the "insert password" screen to show up.
