    Can we talk about how awkward/awful it is trying to reorganize pages of apps in iOS?

    It wasn't a whole lot easier being able to organize apps in iTunes, but now clicking and dragging apps to other pages, getting constantly stuck letting go of an app and being prompted to create folders when you don't want to, or wanting to clean your pages up a bit is a massive chore.

    I wish there was a better way.

    I found Apple Configurator 2 but can't install it on my MBP due to the OS being outdated...but it appears from the reviews it doesn't work that great anyway.

    Anyone else have a solution other than "just do it and stfu"

    Personally, my main reason for using the App Store was for updating existing apps. Yes, of course I also used it to download new apps - but that wasn't what I used it for most.

    With the moving of Updates to your user icon, it's now at least a 2-step process (and a lot more fiddly). Pulling the page down once you're there to refresh the app updates is iffy at best on my XR - not very user friendly.

    In theory, the new haptic touch experience (long press the App Store icon and select Updates) should make this easier - except this only actually works properly about 1/4 of the time. I'm hoping this is a bug that get's fixed in 13.1 - will find out later today.

    Anybody know why Messages does this? Didn’t even get a notification from it, actually got the notification from LinkedIn but then my notification centre had this here as if there was an audio stream. Pressing any of the media buttons doesn’t do anything.

    Is this normal? My battery went from 70% to 30% during bedtime. But when I wanted to check what’s happening the only app that shows is my VPN and it doesn’t show the % of battery consumption like other apps.

    Hey! I've noticed that my iPhone 11 Pro Max only allows me to FaceTime with the ultra wide camera. I love the ultra wide, just not as my only camera option on FaceTime. Anyone know how to switch it to the middle camera like all the other iPhones out there?

    Why does the Apple Maps arrow/car lag so far behind?

    On Google Maps, the arrow is usually pretty accurate. Right about to turn? It's basically right at the intersection. On Apple Maps? While I'm turning the arrow is still approaching the intersection. Why? I missed an important turn yesterday because of this. There were two turns in short succession, and because apple's car arrow was so far behind I got confused. Which turn am I about to take? It was actually the second one, but apple's thing was still far behind and I ended up doubting myself and ruined my commute home.

    I just don't understand the design decision behind this. It's also this way on other iPhones I've tested.

    iOS 13: Does blocking all unknown calls also block all potential “Maybe:” contacts?

    I get so many spam calls, but very often I also get calls from coworkers who aren't saved in my phone. When they call me, it shows "Maybe: John Doe", and I'll know whether to pick it up or not. If it says nothing, I'll assume it's spam and ignore it.

    Does anyone know if the new feature which blocks all unknown callers will also block the ones I might know?

    Android to iOS

    I've had experience with iPhones in the past (4s, 5). However, there are a lot of things I love about each OS. What I miss most is iMessage, texting on Android is years behind and I hate using 3rd party apps like FB Messenger or WhatsApp. Just looking for general input from those who have switched from Android to iOS (within recent years). What do you miss about Android, what do you like better about iOS? Any deal breakers I should know about? My biggest concerns are battery life and the restrictions Apple uses on their devices. My pixel 2 has amazing battery life even after 2 years of use. I love what Google has done with Android in recent years but I think I need a change. Any input is much appreciated.

    Shortcut to activate reader mode on safari

    3D Touch on the "Aa" in the safari address bar will toggle it on and off. The known way was to click on Aa and select reader mode in the drop down menu.

    Hey guys.. This is Austin.. 😅😅 just kidding.. hey guys.. i live in cyprus. I really like iphones very very much. But the lack of support concerning the apple maps in my country always makes me change my mind about purchasing an iphone.. i know i can download Google maps for free.. but you can't tag your self in locations in apps like Facebook, Instagram, or Twitter in an iphone through third party maps.. you can only do that with the apple maps. Or so i know.. i hope I'm wrong.. my question is this.. i can easily use third party maps for navigation.. i don't mind that.. apple maps does not support turn by turn navigation in my country.. but can i still tag my self in locations in fb Instagram Twitter etc. In my country, or is apple maps not supporting that either? If i can tag my self to locations through apple maps in my country, i really don't care about turn by turn navigation.. there are other solutions about that.. please answer guys. Your answer will determine my next smartphone purchase.. thanks 👍👍
