I don't use my phone too much and charge it around every 2 days when it reaches 40-50%. Is 96% (battery health) an appropriate amount for the amount of time that I've owned this phone? | Posted: 06 Aug 2019 10:07 PM PDT ok this is gonna sound so fkn dumb but i'm currently on vacation in the desert and in our airbnb home we have a swimming pool. i brought my phone in the swimming pool and took a couple of videos underwater bc i thought it was cool. i used it for about 20 mins and idk i guess it got too much water in it even though i wiped it and everything, it started flickering and now its dead. i have no rice or anything so it's probably not going to be fixable and i have to pay a lot of money to get it replaced, bc last time i went to fix my screen at the apple store, cost me 300 usd bc iphone x's are fucking dumb expensive. i know, lesson learned, i'm fucking stupid. prolly should've thought twice bc my phone got a crack on the screen and at the back, anyone got any good excuses to tell my parents my phone broke? i was thinking of like "oh it won't turn on" or "oh it won't charge" but we are on vacation together and i feel like it'd be too obvious, anyone got anymore realistic options? thanks in advance <3 [link] [comments]  |
