| HELP! iPhone 7 No Service issue. Posted: 30 Aug 2019 05:15 PM PDT Hello, I have an A1660 iPhone 7 since 2 years. Since 7 months, it has the No Service issue. The software is 12.1 and won't update from the settings resulting in an error every time I update it. My phone shows NO IMEI. The Modem Firmware is empty and the Baseband is not showing. My phone constantly says 'Cellular Update failed'. What can be done to fix it? I can't go to an apple store because I live in Pakistan and there are no Apple Stores here. I bought this second-hand but it was only used for a month or two. Can someone who understands this issue tell me what hardware issues the phone has so I can repair it through local shops. | Posted: 30 Aug 2019 09:55 AM PDT I have a iPhone 5s and recently after updating it to iOS (whatever was before 12.4) I have no signal and it says cellular update failed. I researched a lot but nothing has worked so far, the only thing I haven't tried is a hard reset. I updated it to 12.4 yesterday thinking that might fix it but still nothing. I've switched SIM cards with known working ones but still nothing. I even took it to the apple store but the just said its "probably" the antenna and I could just buy a new phone which I don't want to do. Any help would be appreciated. [link] [comments]  |
| Unable to Use Cellular Data or Connect to Wi-Fi Posted: 30 Aug 2019 10:48 AM PDT Hi all! I'm using an iPhone 6 (my 3rd or 4th as IMO the 6 is the apex of the iPhone family.) Anyhow, it was an insurance replacement as I was having an issue with my previous 6, so its only about 5 months old. A few months ago I dropped it and naturally the screen acquired a hairline crack despite my screen protector, so I had it repaired. After a some time, I started to notice that my 6 was only using LTE and was unable to use almost any cellular data (i.e. I can use my Google app, yet certain apps such as Pandora, etc., are unusable.) My 6 allows me to connect to Wi-Fi networks, yet it never actually "connects." Also, the Wi-Fi icon never appears on my 6's home screen. Side note: When I connect my 6 to a personal hot spot via another iPhone everything runs smoothly. Any thoughts as to how I may resolve this would be immensely appreciated! [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 30 Aug 2019 09:48 AM PDT Ok guys here's the setup: I currently have an iPhone 6 that I am upgrading to an iPhone 8 (first device: 6 -> 8). My wife has an iPhone 5, that she will upgrade to my current iPhone 6 that I'm using (second device: 5 -> my current 6). What is going to be the easiest way and what are the basic instructions for how we can transfer all of our account info to the next phone? (Also, for example if we have games with saved info like SWGOH or CoC or Jetpack Joyride, etc, do those transfer automatically with a backup?? Or is there something else we need to do?). Also, our iCloud storage is the basic 5gb and we have been maxed on it for months (so we don't have backups atm) and I would prefer not to have to pay for extra iCloud storage. Thanks in advance! | iPhone 7 calls won’t work/record videos/ aux won’t work Posted: 30 Aug 2019 04:13 AM PDT Just last week when I made a phone call my phone wouldn't work. Sometimes I can hear the other line but they can never hear me, FaceTime and Snapchat calls don't work either. When I record a video it freezes Snapchat or just won't record on my camera. I use an aux cord in my car and it won't play anymore. Whenever I restart my phone everything works for just a bit and then stops working again. I'm updated to 12.4.1 [link] [comments]  |
