- I just got an Apple watch series 4 and since I live in india, I don’t have access to most of the safety features and also ECG. I’ll be coming to the US in 2 week as as a student so will all those safety features + ECG automatically activate when I arrive at the US or should I change some settings ?

| Apple watch series 4 battery drain (watchos 5.3) Posted: 04 Aug 2019 03:28 AM PDT Since a couple days my watch battery drains significantly faster. Before i could easily go 2 days on one charge. The battery would be somewhere between 60 and 70 percent after day 1 so I could probably even push for 3 days. But now I'm having trouble getting even through the first day and then I'm not even working out or doing a lot with it. Since I haven't installed a single app I'm kinda surprised by this sudden battery drain. The only thing that changed is that I went from iOS 13 beta 4 to beta 5 on my iPhone. Could this affect the battery on my watch? I'd love to hear your opinion on this problem. Thanks in advance [link] [comments]  | ||

Posted: 04 Aug 2019 04:13 AM PDT From a search I think the reason for the different colors on the route has to do with pace. However, I cannot walk faster, so, even though I walk for 30 minutes, it will only register 8 minutes as a workout. Is there any way I can adapt the Activity app to my body's ability? I have filled in my age (etc) and set the kcal to 250. E: I think I've found the answer. The only option is indeed as /u/AranelFlicker said. I just bought it less than a month ago and don't have Apple care. Any idea what my options are? My husband is pretty pissed and told me we aren't spending 300 to fix it. I bought my Series 4 in China making it a A2008 which is the same model sold in the UK. I've asked a few different employees at the Apple store but they either said it won't work outside of China or couldn't give me a confirmation that it would work in the UK. | Wi-fi / Bluetooth in nightstand mode Posted: 03 Aug 2019 11:29 PM PDT I sleep with my phone and watch next to my head on a bedside table. I turn them both to flight mode before going to sleep as I don't like the idea of transmitters next to my brain all night (as disputable the evidence might be of any issues). The phone seems fine, but when I charge the watch overnight it seems to have updated eg. temperature and weather conditions, by the morning suggesting in nightstand mode it goes ahead and turns Wi-fi etc back on. I had this idea of using only Apple watch (cellular) since series 4 checks most of my necessity throughout the day. I don't have an iPhone though. I know the watch needs the iPhone for setup but to go around that hurdle, I was wondering if it was possible to use my roommate's iPhone for setup by logging in my apple id and pairing. He then might consider resetting his iPhone or something later to remove the pairing, that's not really the concern. My ask is, is it possible to use the watch completely standalone after the setup. Wash it regularly, but the past or week or so, my wrist has been sweating underneath the strap. Is it time to get a new band? Anyone have similar experiences? | Can’t see any Airplay speakers on watchOS5.3 Posted: 04 Aug 2019 02:07 AM PDT I've never been able to play music from my Apple watch 3 except through Bluetooth. In control centre, pressing the airplay icon shows the heading "Airplay" but the only option is "Apple Watch". In the music app, when selecting a track it immediate prompts me to select my AirPods or connect another Bluetooth device. Anyone know why I can't see my airplay speakers?
