Then "there's a problem loading this content" on every movie and tv show I tried in my library. Tried on iTunes apps and TV app. Restarted, no help. It happens every once in a while but not always and I can't find any reason or pattern to it but there are times that the up next just goes missing. In its place is just a "what to watch" row but I don't see any of my stuff, new episodes, etc. Anyone else experience this? Is there a solution or an understanding of what causes it? Thanks!! | Just purchased Endgame and it won’t load. Posted: 09 Aug 2019 12:51 AM PDT Purchased the film through the iPhone app, purchase went through however it won't download obviously cause I barely have space as it is. But it won't load at all just get hit with "there's a problem loading this content." Could it be the fact that there's not enough space on my phone for it? Or is it something else? | [Request] Adding in guests content to the TV app Posted: 08 Aug 2019 12:34 PM PDT It would be great if when there were guests on the network that it temporarily incorporated access to their streaming servicesinto the TV app as well. Obviously it would have to ask permission from the guests phone's to approve it (either every time content was going to be played and/or a one and done approval). Maybe you could automate the initial approval process when the Apple TV and the Guests iPhone both have the TV app in the foreground it asked if you wanted to give access to your services. It's currently the only thing that annoys me about there being so many streaming services existing simultaneously – that it's not easy to go to someone's house and browse what we all have available. Instead it's the host scrolling through the TV app looking at what they have and then the guests separately looking through their own services. [link] [comments]  |

Posted: 08 Aug 2019 12:31 PM PDT I don't have an Apple TV currently, and don't have cable, but my wife enjoys the channels I listed and we are using my parent's login for those apps. The main issue is, they never stay signed in for more than a few hours. It is such a pain to have to login to those apps each day I want to use them, and my wife can't do it herself because the sign in fails half of the time. So I was wondering, how do these apps perform on Apple TV? If they work all of the time without prompting me to sign in every day, I would definitely be interested in getting one. When watching 24/30/60p big or smallsize hdr files, i dont. Ideas? Its a possibility that it has to do with the specific file but its doubtful cause its the same with several big files. I like to open Safari on my MacBook and then find a YouTube video to watch. I click the AirPlay icon in the YouTube video and select my AppleTV. It then begins to play and works fine. Posted: 08 Aug 2019 07:23 AM PDT So I subbed to the TV App channel for CBS All Access.Been making decent enough use of the on-demand content to justify the 9.99/month cost, but my god do they need to fix the button for the CBS live Stream. 9 times out of 10 clicking it just won't work. I'll close and reopen the TV App, try going into different channels and back, and just basically fiddle around for minutes at a time to make it work before it finally does. WTH CBS? | Weird slow motion in youtube app, Apple TV 4K Posted: 08 Aug 2019 06:51 AM PDT recently i have an annoying bug in the youtube app that does not seem to affect any other app i use, namely Twitchy, Amazon Video, Netflix and Sky news. When watching a video, sometimes, not in every video, i will get a slowdown, similar to fps drops in games. Weirdly, this does not delay the audio and is not noticeable sync wise. Whilst watching noclips Hitman 2 documentary, i noticed it quite often during the interviews and some shots of their offices outside, the trees and people talking looked like it was "off". Has anyone had the same recently? As i know the youtube app on apple tv is awful but this is the worst bug I've had personally. [link] [comments]  |

The main reason for the switch would be that I'd like to mirror my screen from time to time and I have an iPhone, thus cant do it with the Chromecast. While trying the Apple TV I seem to be missing an important Chromecast feature; the ability to cast a video, for example from Youtube, to the TV and then use my phone for other things while the video continues playing. Whenever I try this the video stops as soon as I go to the homescreen and/or go to a different app. Am I doing something wrong? [link] [comments]  |
