    Nobody mentioned it anywhere and I am curious. Of course it would make sense only in certain type of games (strategy or point and click adventures for example).

    iOS 12.4 iMessage Auto Response w/o prompt?

    Just saw a weird behavior on my iPhone, parent messaged me via iMessage asking me for a password to one of their accounts. When I went into my iMessage conversations page I noticed the last message showing was an answer to the question that I had not sent, reading in the following format:

    "Contact name" questioned password "actual password"

    Contact name being replaced with the name of the contact in my phone and the actual password replaced with the password they were looking for.

    After noticing I was a bit freaked out and clicked into the message thread however it showed that I sent no such response. Thought it was weird and my attention to the issue got sidetracked by something else, a minute or two later my parent responds saying "thanks, what's the username?" confirming that phantom message actually went out.

    Now I probably have responded with that password a bunch of times over the years so it's not like the phone dug it up out thin air but it was definitely a bit unsettling. I know Siri Suggestions often suggests tasks repeated but have never seen a message actually be executed without prompt.

    Has anyone experienced this feature/bug in iOS 12.4?

    I’m quite curious to know if the new iOS 13 Find My app is able to find my friends that share location with me while their iPhones are not connected to the internet, but with Bluetooth on and near a random persons phone that has an active internet connection.

    iPhone 7 goes straight to recovery mode each time I charge it after battery dies.

    Hi, I'm new to this subreddit. I got a big problem: every time my phone (iPhone 7) dies, after charging it it goes straightly into recovery mode, and I have to force reboot the phone. When this started I was updating to iOS 13 beta 8, I tried restoring in DFU mode to iOS 13.1 and 12.4 but got no results. Also, another strange problem is that the volume down button seems not to work in software, but I'm able to enter DFU, so it should work. Any clue?

    Switch & create new iCloud.com email address (Apple/iCloud acct) from gmail?

    Hello,

    I currently have an Apple account (iCloud, etc) using my gmail email. However, I'm interested in switching to an @iCloud.com email address to try for email use. From what I've heard, this will change some things on my account and I want to fully understand this before I move forward.

    If I understand correctly, when I make the switch, I'll no longer use my gmail account for logging in but the newly created iCloud.com address. Further, am I right that once I convert from gmail to iCloud.com, I can't ever switch back to a non-iCloud address in the future, even if I wanted to? Are there really any issues with this? Can one add a secondary email so that, so that, even if I didn't want to continue using the iCloud.com address as my primary email, I could still get any Apple notification emails in a secondary (specifically non-icloud.com) email account? If that's true, I think that takes out the only other "con" that I could think of if I ended up switching back bc I could still get any emails that Apple generates at another location. Am I missing any other negatives?

    Are there any other things that will change if/when I switch to an iCloud.com email?

    Lastly, is there any way to find out if a given iCloud.com email address is taken yet - without going ahead with choosing it (gmail offers this clearly during signup)? I'd really love to know before I hit that submit button and commit to the email choice.

    iOS 13.0 Stuck in settings on “Update Requested”

    i have done everything, i am on iOS 12.4, and i can't update to iOS 12.4.1 since the iOS 13 update is stuck. i have restored to a backup, to no avail.

    iOS 13.1 beta breaks Gears POP!?

    Anybody else having issues signing in to Xbox Live in Gears POP! on the iOS 13.1 beta? I updated last night and have been unable to get past the Xbox Live sign-in. The game works fine on my iPhone on iOS 12 and on Windows 10, so connectivity doesn't appear to be the problem.

    Hi everyone! I would like to ask something from Professionals: Is there any possibility to change the bluetooth sound volume limitation on iPhone in ios 12?

    I have a 30 W bluetooth speaker and after the last update on ios it got quieter. I turned off the volume control in Music settings but it is not got louder. I know that Apple regulate the bluetooth volume in last year but I want to turn it off. I tried my speaker with my old iPod touch (5g) in ios 9 and the volume was much louder than on my iPhone ios 12. Please help me because I love music and it is really annoying. We pay a lot for new iPhone and we get worse service then years ago. Thanks in advance for everyone!

    Privacy apps for iOS 13 or iOS 12?

    Hey,

    as you already know, privacy is becoming more and more important for users.

    Privacy-friendly apps that don't have tracking. And don't communicate with Google, Facebook or other social networks in the background. Without asking you when you launch the app every day. The apps should also have regular updates.

    He's a bit of backstory. I have 2 phones. One phone is my actual phone. It's an iPhone 6. I also have an iPhone 6s Plus that I use for streaming/playing certain mobile games. On my iPhone 6 I had 300 photos from the past few years. They were backed up on my iCloud and I'm 100% sure of that. On my 6s plus I just have about 16 screenshots and wallpapers. Well I looked in my photos on my iPhone 6 today and they were the ones on my 6s plus. My 300+ pictures just disappeared without a trace. So I tried to restore with a back up and everything was correctly backed up except for my pictures. My apps were from my last backup. My missed calls and sent/received calls. Text messages, etc. Everything was just fine except for my pictures. Does anyone know what could have caused this? And am I shit out of luck with my pictures?

    iPhone won’t let me send old pictures
