    Hi beta testers! I'm just curious as to whether or not there's a difference (hopefully improvement) in RAM management in iOS. Have you seen/noticed anything? I'm sick of apps resetting themselves for no apparent reason lol. And i have the XS.

    There is a new type of scam that happened to me earlier this day.

    So,it's like this: It looks like a message coming from App Store telling that there is a transaction made with your account,with a link that the message tells you to click to restore the purchase. If you click on it,it will lead you to a fake Apple site which looks real at first glance. It asks for your personal information for account verification,and if you fill it accordingly,it will then ask you to enter your credit card information. Luckily,I didn't fell for it because when I tried to press the buttons in the upper side of the page,it didn't work. And then when I looked into the search bar,it was not apple.com,in green text and a lock sign next to it and another green text saying Apple.Inc,but instead it said managedpaymentss.serveblog.net. First,Apple's official site ends with .com,not .net. And secondly,it's too obvious that the site's name is not apple.com. I then understood that it's a geniusly planned scam. And then I looked at the message and tapped on the sender's name,which is App Store. It was obviously a fake account,it didn't even have a profile picture. Anyways,that's all. Thank you for taking your time to read this,and remember to don't fall for this scam! Goodbye for now.

    I was charging my phone at 70% and then I switched off my phone while it is plugged in and I switched it on again.

    For some reason when the phone rebooted back it wouldn't take the charge until I unlocked it

    Does this happen to your phone as well or is it a specific issue to the cable I'm using??

    Replacing separate apps with an all-in-one option

    If I long press the app icons on iOS12.4 it looks like you can uninstall the default calendar, contacts, and mail apps. Could this be swapped out and fully replaced with a single app-suite like Outlook? If anyone has the iOS 13 Betas or knows about the updates, are the default apps getting upgraded meaningfully, or would Outlook be a stronger option still?

    There are many websites and apps that provide link options or contact, but they only prompt to install the default mail app etc. Is there someway to drop in the suite and have the system recognize that as the default?

    I've removed the default Maps app in favour of Google Maps, and have had to resort to ignoring weblinks and just directly looking up locations in the replacement app.

    iOS 12 latest update and iPhone 6s

    So my oldest son was using my old iPhone 6s from 2015. Last week after the phone has charged to 100% and then been unplugged and left on all night the battery was down to 4%, when he unlocked the phone it immediately showed the high temperature warning screen and the phone couldn't be used. Took it into Apple a few days ago and the phone won't even boot up. The logo shows then a white line, then the logo over and over. The genius runs a diagnostic on the phone and says the logic board is shot and there's nothing that can be done. I took it to a repair place and I was told that it's specifically the latest iOS 12 update that has been doing this to 6s and 6s max phones. Any truth to this? And is there anything that can be done to rescue the phone?

    Does the "mini camera" in iMessage no longer exist? I don't like how every photo I take and send in iMessage is saved to my camera roll.

    Canary mail - New emails won't show

    So I downloaded Canary Mail on a completely new computer. I love it so far -- but I have one gripe. Often, I'll get a notification bubble for an email (or even 3 or 4), but the email app (even after i refresh, filter by unread, ask it to fetch new mail, etc.) won't actually SHOW me the email. The only solution I've found so far is to restart the app every time I receive an email - which is not that bad, i suppose, but it's frustrating for an e-mail client I paid for. Has anyone else had this issue? I haven't found a way to contact the team.

    Is there Way to filter downloaded images? If not there should be.

    Any graphics/pictures you download off a website or something like that where it goes in its own iPhone album so that way its easier to select and delete multiples from.

    Maybe this exists already? I doubt it. If it does great!

    Cant tell ya how many Memes i download and then they get intertwined with regular photos. Would be nice to be able to sort those out easier (like the way screenshots are handled) so they can be deleted.

    iOS Google apps & Safari cross-app cookie sharing.

    When someone logs into a google app, such as YouTube's iOS App, it sets cookies that log them into google on Safari. It does the same thing in reverse if they log into Google on Safari, they end up logged into that account in the YouTube app.

    If they want to maintain separate YouTube, Gmail, or googleApps accounts, (or prefer to never login at all), it is a major hassle to constantly have to fix what account is logged in.

    Is there a way to prevent app to app cookie sharing?

    What methods are there to allow or deny other apps from communicating with each other?

    I have an ipad mini that I was going to upgrade to iOS13 public beta. After experiencing how buggy it is on my iphone (which is currently semi bricked but that's another story) I decided not to upgrade to iOS13. But I already installed the iOS13 profile and in settings it says it's ready to update to iOS13. So if it's not clear I am still on iOS12 (I believe 12.3) but my profile has been updated to iOS13.

    So is there any way to restore just the profile so it stays on iOS12?

    I am noticing now that if my friend sends me a photo out of the Photo app to an iMessage conversation, if I save it. I could see its timestamp and location information. That means that she has location setting on for camera.

    But if she sends it right out of the iMessage camera, there is no location.

    Also some photos if saved would have its actual timestamp, but some would actually be saved under the time I save it at.

    Odd difference between the two. Wondering if anyone can confirm this experience and understands its mechanism at work.
