    Older Laptop (2003-2005) Hard Drive Connector?

    I have a very old laptap, circa 2005. It's dead, dead, dead. However, I've managed to get the hard drive out. It's a Fujitsu, model ca06557-b22000ap.

    I need to find a connector for the hard drive, preferably from the hard drive to USB, but I'm not holding my breath. Anything that lets me connect the drive to a modern system. The drive holds pictures we're hoping to recover.

    I've searched Google, but all I'm finding are hard drives with no indication as to what the connector to the drive is. Anyone have an idea?

    So, I bought airpod 2 few months ago and the left airpod stopped working. I fixed it by resetting the airpod and both airpods started working again. But once again, the left airpod isn't working and connecting to my phone. I tried resetting again but no luck. My question is, will apple be able to replace my airpod under warranty? I just forgot if software issues was covered under applecare or not.

    -I have iPhone X. -2 days ago updated to 12.4

    "Hey Siri" worked fine yesterday, but today I noticed today it had quit working. After a few failed attempts thinking it was due to lack of internet connection went into the Siri&Search settings & I found it had somehow "turned itself off" & changed the listening language to Chinese. My main concern is my phone has been compromised, looking to see if anyone else has experienced this/what could have caused to turn off by itself (or if that's even possible).

    My MacBook Pro is stuck on a black backlit screen and keyboard. I try holding down the power button on the touch bar to hard restart and no luck. I've tried other tricks online, but it seems like they may be for older Macs.

    2014 MacBook Pro 15" Thunderbolt Issues

    I recently bought a used MacBook Pro "Core i7" 2.5 15" Mid-2014 (DG) off Swappa for a great price. The seller said he was having issues with random shutdowns, so he had to keep the machine on Mavericks. Luckily, I knew of a fix I saw on the Apple Stack Exchange site, Ask Different. The link to this fix is here. I wiped the hard drive and upgraded to Mojave after receiving the device.

    I experienced the random shutdowns immediately. I implemented the fix mentioned above, but I wanted to make sure it was a software issue only. I removed the fix and brought it into a local Apple Store. I made them aware of what I had done to fix the issue, but they didn't seem to care or take note of it. They kept it for three days, and did some extensive testing. They found no issues with it and did not experience the shutdowns I had seen. They offered to send it out to do more testing for >$400. Knowing it is most likely software related I took the laptop home, and I reimplemented the fix. The MacBook Pro is an awesome machine and it has been working well.

    Now to my issue. In my home office I have two Apple Thunderbolt Displays daisy chained together connected to a 2012 Mac mini. I was excited to try this setup out on my more powerful laptop. Unfortunately, my MacBook Pro only recognizes one display. I have had no issues with the Thunderbolt Displays when using my Mac mini and my work issued 2017 MacBook Pro 13" escape with a Thunderbolt 2 to Thunderbolt 3 adapter. All parts and cables are Apple made.

    I am wondering if anyone else has experienced the issue and found a fix. Maybe there is a fixed AppleThunderboltNHI.kext floating around somewhere? I assume the issue relates to the fix found on Ask Different. This issue is very specific, but I am surprised I am unable to find out more about it. I called Apple Support tonight. They are unable to help. I reinstalled Mojave, but it did not fix the issue. I have a scheduled callback with them tomorrow. Any helps, tips, advice, or fixes would be much appreciated. Thanks!

    Bluetooth Says I Have A Pair of Beats Headphones?

    I have an iPhone 7 and in the "my devices" section of Bluetooth in settings it says "Leo's Beats Solo 3." That would be normal, except I've never owned any Beats headphones, and I don't know anyone else named Leo who owns a pair of them. I was wondering if there was some reason behind this, or if anyone has the slightest idea as to why this is showing up on my phone? Thanks.

    Time Machine External Drive Not Mounting

    A1226 running El Capitan. Disk Utility can see the drive, but the drive does not mount, and (therefore) my backups do not run. Disk utility says First aid cannot be performed. The drive is hosed, right? Is there anything I can do to get it to mount, again?

    It's a 1TB G-Technology drive. I think I might just crack it open and replace the drive within that enclosure. It's a 3.5" SATA drive, right?

    MacBook Air (2018) won't go to sleep...

    I got the current MacBook (for the first time switching from Windows computers) about a month and a half ago. Today all of a sudden, when I closed and reopened the lid, I noticed that the laptop didn't go to sleep. I then tried several times both restarting, and putting to sleep from the "Apple icon" -> Sleep, but nothing happens. The screen just goes dark, but when I touch the touchpad the screen is back at it just like it was. I googled and tried to reset the SMC and NVRAM, but it didn't help either. I then decided to delete everything and reinstall the system. But to my surprise it didn't help! Does anyone know what's the problem and how I can fix it?

    iPhone 7 completely bricked.

    This evening I was using my iPhone 7 normally, I noticed that it needed charging so I plugged it into my computer to charge. Multiple times throughout the charging it suddenly stopped charging and the screen lit up, so I had to take the charger out, and plug it back in, not too much of a bother but fairly odd issue. Then all of a sudden I hear the Windows 10 device ejection sound and immediately check my phone to see what happened. Screen completely black, refused to turn on no matter what I did. Plugged it into my pc again after installing iTunes so that I could possibly restore it from an earlier point, or if necessary factory reset it. Unfortunately I had no luck doing so as when I first tried to simply restore it to an earlier point, it failed and same again when I tried to factory reset it. It gets stuck on "verifying iPhone reset with apple" for a little while and then gives me the error "The iPhone "iPhone" could not be restored. An unknown error occurred (9)." I've attempted it with other cables, I've restarted my computer and so on and I haven't found any solution at all. Am I just completely screwed or can I at least back up my data somehow even when it's bricked like this? Unfortunately my iCloud has been full so it hasn't backed up automatically for a while.

    I plan to use it for college (english major) aswell as photo and video editing(for weekly youtube videos)I heard 16gb ram is the new norm. I might also stream from my nintendo switch using an elgato.

    Is this mac enough? The 15 inch is out of my budget. I added 16gb of ram and also like the portability.

    How to wipe really old MacBook?

    2008 MacBook OSX 10.5.8

    Ok I'm trying to wipe to above MacBook before I recycle it. It is on its last legs: it won't connect to the internet at all, won't startup in recovery mode (command+R at start, maybe not a feature back then), and I no longer have the install disk for the OS. I can't seem to do it using disk utility, because the volume I'm using is also the only volume and the startup volume.

    How do I go about reformatting this hard drive before I give the Mac away?! Thanks in advance!

    How do I stop iPad receiving calls etc?

    I have my Apple ID linked to my iPad along with my phone because my parents aren't tech people and don't have Apple IDs but it's very annoying as when I receive a call and other things it will pop up on the iPad. Since I rarely use the iPad and my parents use it more it's really bugging me as they always ask me questions about who's ringing me etc.

    Photos aren't in cloud after backup

    I just backed up all my photos from my phone to icloud, it took a long time and the photos aren't in the cloud :( I have an old phone, I think it's a 5s and it's basically losing its functionality. There's a certain part of the screen that is "pressed" randomly, meaning which ever app is there, keypad, anything on safari etc. I'm moving to a backup phone until I can upgrade and wanted to ensure all my photos were secure before I move on. I'm very frustrated cuz the backup took close to 2 hrs via wifi and nothing was uploaded to the cloud. Someone help with some advice please

    Completely uninstalling Chrome
