- iPhone XR/12.3.1. Is there a way to take the camera icon off only the locked screen? I know you can go through your screen time settings to restrict the camera app and that DOES take it off lock screen but it also hides the camera app every where else. I just want it off the lock screen. Thanks!

| My iPhone saved two screen recordings while I was asleep and not using my phone. Hack or glitch? Posted: 02 Jul 2019 05:06 PM PDT Last night at about 1:30am i was on my iphone 7, latest update. I have screen recording attached to my control center and my phone is not jailbroken. While i was on safari, I got a pop up notification from my phone saying that the screen recording could not be saved due to insufficient storage. I had not hit the screen record button, and the red screen recording bar at the top of my screen was not there to tell me my screen was being recorded. I closed the browser and restarted my phone and went to sleep. I woke up at 5:20am and checked my phone and I had a notification from 1hr ago saying that my screen recording was saved to my Photos. I was asleep at this time so there was no way I had hit the button to record. I checked my photo and videos and there was nothing there. I'm super creeped out right now. Is my phone somehow being hacked right now or is this just a possible glitch? What should i do to prevent this from happening if it is a hack? [link] [comments]  |

For some it gives me an error message that I am not authorized to listen to them on this computer. I've taken the recommended steps to athorize my computer. Doesn't work. It tells me that another set of songs are unavailable because I'm not allowed to copy Apple music songs to my phone. This is odd. Because all of the songs I'm trying to copy are songs to ripped to iTunes on another PC (now at my parents' home, far away) and that I access on my PC at my home. Most of them copied fine. So why not these select ones? Ultimately, these are my songs. I paid for the CDs years ago. How can I get the music I paid for on my device? [link] [comments]  |

| Just got a work iPhone with its own number. How powerful are iOS's syncing features? Posted: 02 Jul 2019 07:13 PM PDT I recently got an XR from my work with a work sim card. I was hoping to run it dual SIM with my personal tmobile line so i wouldn't carry 2 phones, but my job won't unlock the phone. Up until now, I've been using Android phones, so I'm new to iOS's syncing features. I'm wondering if I can buy cheap used iPhone SE (or something similar) to put my personal SIM card in and leave it at home while still having access to all of my personal line's calls/texts on my XR. If I link my personal phone number on the SE to iMessage and turn on message syncing to iCloud, will I have access to all my texts (green and blue) on the work phone? If so, can I also send texts on my work phone using my personal number (instead of the number associated with the SIM inside it?) As far as calls go, I was hoping to use call forwarding to send all of my personal calls to my work phone, since I'm not sure if the call syncing would work when I'm out of the house. And then I'd use Tmobile's digits app to make personal calls on my work phone. Does this all sound feasible? Am I wrong about how some of these features work? Is there a better way of doing this? I asked about the battery health of the phone, and was provided with a screenshot of the percentage. 83%, which I am not bothered by. My issue is with the service provider that was shown in the top left corner. It was "CDN*". Tried looking on google for answers, not sure what to make of this. [link] [comments]  |
| iPhone calendar alert reminders Posted: 02 Jul 2019 11:47 AM PDT When I have a calendar alert reminders on my iphone when it is locked, as soon as I unlock screen, the notification vanishes from display before I can even read it. I keep missing appointments because I miss the reminders. How might I change the settings so that I can read calendar notification before it is dismissed? | Forgot iCloud password and can't reset the phone Posted: 02 Jul 2019 09:25 AM PDT Hi guys, I have an iPhone 5 with iOS 12.3.1 installed in it. I've forgotten the iCloud password of the account. I can't recover it because also I don't know the secret question. Also can't reach to the e-mail so I can't reset the password. Find my iPhone is enabled. When I try to remove the iCloud account it doesn't allow me to do it. It always asks the password of the current logged iCloud account. Furthermore when I try to reset the phone it doesn't allow it. Again it asks for the password but I can't reset the password. Is there a way to get rid of this iCloud account which I can't reach to it's password? [link] [comments]  |
