Apple Arcade - What do you think?

Hey,

- Are you excited for Apple Arcade?

- How much are you guys willing to pay for this service?

- What games are you most excited for(that are announced)?

- What games would you like Apple to add?

I myself am excited because I already play games on my IPad Pro with the Steelseries Nimbus controller and I am willing to pay around 100 sek(10 USD, 10 EURO)/month for this service. I would like big name games like Counter-strike and Call of duty and of course other games as long as it's "console-level" games. The best thing about Apple Arcade in my opinion is the no IAP thing and that you only pay a monthly fee. Hopefully the games will be worth it.

Moonlight game streaming for iOS removed Steam app tile for "compliance." Anyone know how to get it back?

Update: Issue solved. You can manually add the tile back by going into Geforce Experience -> Settings -> Shield. Click "Add" then add C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\streaming_client.exe (or wherever your Steam directory is). That's it! The tile will re-appear in moonlight, complete with the original image and functionality, as far as I can tell. Hope this helps someone else.

Looks like Apple may have gone after Moonlight similar to how they denied the Steam Link app originally from appearing on the App Store until Valve removed the ability to purchase games. In any case, the update notes for Moonlight on the 12th mention how this Steam tile has been removed. This is unfortunate since Moonlight still works better than Steam Link for a lot of games. There has to be a way in Geforce Experience to re-add the tile manually so that it loads up Steam's Big Picture mode and has the options it used to have (like "Stop Streaming"). Basically, I want to get the exact functionality we had before.

In Geforce Experience, games are manually added on your PC by going to Settings -> Shield and manually adding them there. I assume you can add the steam.exe shortcut and supply some additional arguments to get it to launch big picture w/ Streaming but I'm not quite sure what. Anyone have an idea?

Anyone play Poly Fantasy?

I found this app just browsing the app store and it had some pretty good reviews written about it, I was just curious if anyone here has tried it? I tried to see if they had a subreddit or something but my search was fruitless, it looks pretty fun though! Its like a gatcha idle rpg game or something? Would love to hear what you guys think!

Something like Disgaea where there's so much to level up you could probably play forever. Any genre is fine as long as it stays engaging and still makes you think somewhat while leveling (no endless clickers).

Clash Royale clones - which ones do you recommend?

I recently downloaded Chaos Battle League and War Heroes. Both are good, but I want to find out some more options.

FWIW, I like games in vertical format (like ClashRoyale), not horizontal TD like Badland Brawl etc.

What PS4/Xbox controller compatibility means for the future of iOS gaming?

I apologize if this has been discussed at length before. The announcement of PS4 and Xbox controller compatibility raises a few questions for me.

How does this change current controller compatible games? Will MFi games automatically support these controllers? Is all of the games supporting these controllers a likely future?
Does this open the door for more iOS ports of other games? Has the iOS game boom passed and are we too late for many devs to get as excited about this or are we likely to see a huge surge of games coming over from devs that didn't want to build touch controls?
Will devs be allowed to make iOS games that require controllers?
Other thoughts? Is this going to be a huge shift for iOS games or will it still be a situation where most people aren't going to carry around controllers with them and so it's not likely to change games other than the few already targeted at serious game players?

I'd love for people to weigh in! Thanks for your time.

First time IOS gamer looking for input on games.

Just got my 10.5 pro in today, so far I installed:

critical ops,

pubg mobile

aov

vaiglory

auto chess

world of kings.

Are there any secret gems I have been missing from not playing on IOS? I was thinking about stardew valley, I am just concerned on replayability. If you can tell I'm more prone to online games, but I am open to recommendations from you all. I also thought payday crime war was out on IOS already, I guess I'm mistaken.

Help me remember a game?

It was a sci-fi real-time semi-strategy game where you man a spaceship (kind of like Dreadnought except there's no piloting) and the fights involved having shields anger the right way and firing the right weaponry. For the life of me I can't remember what it's called but it was really fun. If anyone can help I'd love to hear from you. I remember playing it about 3-4 years ago.
