Looking for new base builder/strategy game Posted: 30 Jun 2019 02:14 AM PDT Morning all! I'm looking for a new base builder or strategy type, which absolutely extends to a spaceship builder type of game etc. I've been through all the typical Clash of Clans, Boom Beach, Rise of Civs and Dominations etc, also some of the slightly lesser known types like Pixel Starships and really liked all of them. Mostly Rise of Civs, Dominations and Pixel Starships. The App Store new games list wasn't updated in the UK last Thursday which was a littler disappointing so I haven't had my new game fix and I've got a hankering to build up a base or a castle etc - I'd be very grateful for suggestions. Ideally one still supported by the devs as my delving into the App Store list has me finding stuff like Lunar Battle which haven't been updated for over a year and the community is dead! Thanks all Edit: a little extra info - really not into MOBA type games and also preferably not a card game either but I'm a bit more flexible on that aspect [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jun 2019 04:48 PM PDT Been spending some time with Void Tyrant over the last couple of days and I really like the core gameplay. But I hate the grind. I like how with something like Meteorfall, each game is self-contained and — aside from luck — your success is based on your choices, not how much you grinded till then and how many permanent upgrades you got. I got to the final boss today in Void Tyrant and almost beat him but spoiler ****** I was too weak to take on his third form that I didn't see coming. So now what.... I play a bunch more, earn more gold, buy all the upgrades... and then if I manage to beat him, I don't know how much of that is because of my strategy and the choices I made vs simply my character being stronger. Am I alone here? I feel like a game like this could easily devour all my free time if each run mattered for more than just earning more gold for permanent upgrades. [link] [comments]
Good two player games that can be played on separate phones? Posted: 29 Jun 2019 08:53 PM PDT I'm leaving to go overseas for a bit, and would love a fun game me girlfriend and I can play together. Co-op preferred, but some friendly competition can be fun too! The simpler the better. [link] [comments]
Premium games with a strong community? Posted: 29 Jun 2019 08:18 PM PDT What are some good premium games with strong communities (guilds, clans, etc.)? [link] [comments]

Posted: 30 Jun 2019 12:13 AM PDT Are there any Bluetooth headphones available that do not have a delay when playing games? I'm looking at upgrading from an iPad mini 5, which has a headphone jack, to an iPad Pro 12.9 3rd Gen... which doesn't. I've got a pair of plantronic backbeat pro 2 which I use a mix of Bluetooth and cable depending on what I'm doing, usually Bluetooth for video and cable for games and audio (GarageBand). Yes I could use an adaptor from USB C to 3.5mm but if there's a viable Bluetooth option I'm keen to explore it. [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jun 2019 10:49 PM PDT I love tower d games and was hoping there would be a good coop version I can play with friends. Back in the Warcraft and Starcraft days they had tons of tower d mods where everyone was working together and it was a total blast. I would love it if there was anything like that but I can't find anything on the App Store. [link] [comments]
Posted: 30 Jun 2019 01:45 AM PDT I've played AFK Arena, Idle Heroes, Crush Them All, but I just didn't enjoy them after a while. Are there any others with a similar feel currently? I'd prefer either a newer one or one with new servers launching. [link] [comments]
Posted: 29 Jun 2019 10:25 AM PDT Or would such a setup be possible with the new support for PS4 and Xbox gamepads for racing games? Please advice! Thanks [link] [comments]
